So it was my first time to New Orleans. I kept hearing about the "grenade" drink, but didn't realize it was something specific to this spot. The bar tender that helped us was very enthusiastic about me having not tried this drink. I always appreciate good service and I got it here. We may not have needed more "grenades" but kept coming back for the service. Side note, those drinks are potent. It was a good thing we made it to our hotel room because we all didn't remember all of that portion of our evening except for the fact that we had so much fun. :) Went back every night we were there.

They have the best grenade cocktail that comes in a plastic, lime green cup and a little souvenir grenade thrown inside. Price is $11.00 and you can have it on the rocks or frozen. Excellent bartender! Worked the line fast as this was during Mardi Gras, Saturday night.

The hand grenade drink is super sweet and tasty without neglecting the alcohol content! I don’t usually enjoy alcohol, but this is the right drink for someone like me. The hand grenade comes in a souvenir-like tall plastic cup with a mini grenade at the top that you can throw into the baskets hanging in the bar. Due to that, this bar can get a bit sticky and crowded.

My first time visiting New Orleans “NOLA” and tried the Hand Grenade at Tropical Isle right on Bourbon street. It is strong and comes in a grenade shaped plastic glass and its long and you can carry it along with you while walking outdoors. It was great. You get an option of selecting either Frozen or with ice or a small or a large one.

My aunt and I went in for drinks. We got the grenade. My gosh it was strong but good. Wasn't many people in there but people were coming in and out. That one drink got me tipsy. It was $11. Definitely worth the money.

I went there for a Hand Grenade and it didn't disappoint. The drink is delicious and sneaks up on you! I recommend getting two in a sitting if your tolerance is high.

Only one bartender was working but he somehow managed to keep up with the huge crowd. We didn't wait long for a bar seat. Very friendly place. The Hand Grenade was awesome, but I think I liked the Horny Alligator more.

Nice little corner bar on Bourbon Street. They had a live band that was pretty good. The grenade drinks are more nostalgic than anything else. Everyone visiting needs to try one. If your looking for a better stiff drink stick to beer or mixed drinks not the premixed ones.
