Great coffee, delicious breakfast sandwich, and beautiful atmosphere! I graded papers for nearly 5 hours and was extremely comfortable and productive!
The map Facebook uses is wrong. This is actually on the streetcar line at Oak Street. I love sitting outside!
The open space, the classical music, the worn tables and comfy wooden chairs all made for a pleasant visit and good reading time over a good cup of chai.
I've been coming here for 15 years and absolutely love this place ❤️

Wonderful old coffee house on Oak St. Great coffee and fabulous friendly staff.
Great food and atmosphere!
Beautiful atmosphere & perfect background music.
Nice folks. Made a great cortado. Provided recommendations on where to get low country broil out of town.
Best coffee shops in NOLA!
Amazing selection of hot tea ☕ which was unexpected. Music, space and simplicity here will calm you down and help you think or create.
Very cool space. Authentic bagel and lox. Delicious iced teas. Great servers!
One of the best coffee shops for working/studying. Plenty of natural light, great views of a lively intersection (but not overwhelming) that is perfect for people watching. Free Wi-fi. Great baristas. They don't crank up the A/C too high so you freeze in there after a while. Really good quality food and beverages. Outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms. And best of all: Always the best classical music for concentrating!
This is one of the best coffee shops I have been to. I am visiting from NY and have made it my morning routine to come here. Beautiful building, friendly & professional staff, large seating space, and great coffee. I get a mocha iced coffee :)
I love this place!! The atmosphere is great, and so is the coffee. I ordered an iced matcha the other day and it was perfect. I love coming here to get work done and relax.
Great place to have a nice warm brew, any time a day or night. How many study days and nights... Those were the times.
When you walk in, the vibe is a quiet one with music playing to relax the soul while you sit and work on that special project. They sell all types of coffee, that tickle the tastebuds. The Carmel Frappe is not too sweet with a rich flavor. While exploring the Uptown Carrollton District, Check it out!
Been looking at this place for decades? but never stepped inside. After stepping inside, it looks dark (even after lighting) and old. Add the age to the melancholy classical music and the atmosphere is somewhat of a downer.. Anyway the coffe is pretty good. Cafe Noir is good French dark roast that they sell. They have an assortment of espresso. They have some bagels. It looks like most people are students or people wanting free wifi. Pretty good. Maybe consider remodeling
Loving the Harry Potter vibe and the classic musics. Neighborhood is safer compared to the area blocks away. Public wifi is a bit slow but still thankful for a wifi. The cafe I visited before this didn’t have a wifi despite the space and delicious coffee. I think it’s know for a good coffee but don’t order cappuccino… it felt like i was drinking americano with a think foam lol. Room temperature. Can be a bit chilly for sensitive people but perfect for me. I prefer it a bit chilly so i don’t fall asleep. Second floor is quieter than the first floor. People are usually working or reading books. The pecan sweet potato muffin was aight. I should have gotten the bagels because icrealized they are known for their savory food than sweet pastries.
Incredible coffee shop with cool historical building, friendly staff, yummy tea and coffee, and a great working environment for people who need a place to work for a few hours. Loved this spot will definitely be returning!
Great atmosphere great bagels. Best cold brew coffee yet!
Lovely place for a simple breakfast and coffee. The building is beautiful and perfect to get some work done. Plenty of tables. Decent service. Follow my food blog on Instagram: @WeYumNola
I didn't buy any food but I did buy a wat I THOUGHT was a sweet tea🤢. (Thats wat I asked for)
Tell who sells tea without any sugar. I'll tell u who..these guys.
Talk about a shock to the system. I did NOT expect that. Other than that it was a pretty cool spot
Great place to hang out for casual conversation or to just sit and work ! At the corner of St Charles and Oak - decent view. Interesting ambience.
As a French citizen living in US, nothing is more appreciable than finding a place with a real coffee. Add to that very good bagels, tasty pastries and a peaceful atmosphere, and it's perfect.
It’s worth going here just to see the building. Stunning former bank with soaring ceilings. I recommend sitting on the mezzanine for a great view.
