This place is just a gem. Family owned with food that cooked with a huge heart and soul by the couple who owns the place. They're just lovely hard working people who make creative yummy homemade food. Their noodle soup is by far the best I've tasted and I've eaten in numerous Vietnamese spots in big and small cities over the years.
If you are visiting NOLA and looking for an affordable, delicious, fresh (!!!)
, healthy alternative to the deep fried everything around -this is a MUST!
I'm vegan and gluten free (which is very challenging in NOLA) and I was just in heaven.
Went here because the joint we usually go to down the street was closed. Wow--- glad we did because this place is awesome. Fantastic dishes and service. The pho was killer! Best lemongrass chicken I've had since I visited Vietnam years ago. Definitely will return!
Hands down the best Pho I've ever had. High quality broth with excellent chicken, didn't need to add anything to the dish. Will definitely be coming back during our trips to New Orleans.
Everything is delicious, vegan Pho is my favorite, fresh springs, sweet and sour chicken or shrimp...list goes on and on.... Everything fresh and made to order. Wait staff is top notch too. Overall I am so happy I found this place... Its my hang out....
Pho Noi Viet, is a family run restaurant, that offers great food at reasonable prices. Love their Spring rolls, Pho, and Phad Thai. Many Thanks!
Great food and terrific service! Best Vietnamese food around! Thanks Neal!
Have been several times! The food is always great, the ingredients are fresh and the spicing is just right. Service is amazing, too!
Amazingly fresh, flavorful Vietnamese in a quaint setting on Magazine. Pho is phonomenal, as is the shaken beef and banh mi.
As others have said, this seriously good Vietnamese at a seriously low price (everything is under $10). Try it!
great egg rolls. good company and nice setting.friendly owners.
The food is delicious and service is great. I come here about once a week.
The owners are the sweetest people you'd ever meet, ever chat with. The vegan broth was outstanding and so flavorful. Beef pho was one of the best I've had.
super fresh Vietnamese food and such a welcoming family! nice, clean dining room with prices that are TOO cheap for the quality and quantity of the dishes. this is my GO-TO Vietnamese restaurant, check it out
This was delicious! I had a delicious bowl of rare beef pho, and my husband had a delicious bahn mi. Great tofu! The restaurant isn't dressy, but it's cute and clean. Excellent, friendly, wait staff made the dinner extra enjoyable. Excellent dine in or take out spot with very reasonable pricing.
Pretty good bun meals here! The bowls are massive and come with lots of salad which I like. Service was good but the food was a little slow to come out - my partners food (the spicy chicken which was nice too) came out way before mine and he was actually able to finish his meal before mine came out. Probably a good spot if you're in the area but maybe don't seek it out specifically
Best pho in town!!! If you love pho look no further. My husband and I have become regulars and always get excellent service! the vegetable pho is so delicious and the meatball poboy is mouth watering! The dipping sauce it comes with makes the sandwich one of my faves!!
Don't Listen To Bad Reviews. The pho here is better here than any other Uptown...not as good as you'd get on the westbank, but very good. Pho Noi has the BEST handmade fried eggrolls on the planet! I crave these eggrolls. Great place, pleasant, fast service and really good food at low prices! I need to do a tv commercial for them! ;-)
Awesome!. Service is great, food is wonderful. Can't beat the prices. Delicious.
Pho that's par for the course; service that is less than to be desired
Good.. It's fine. I wouldn't say anything special but i go occasionally. First time I went they forgot to give me peanut sauce for my egg rolls. pho here is better than Lily down the street but overall I like Magasin and Lily a bit better in my experience.
However, the best vietnamese food in the city is on the Westbank at Tan Dinh. Killer menu with an insane amount of options. Have the basic stuff but also more adventurous items as well. Not to mention the portions are huge and usually big enough for two yet still priced like everywhere else.
It was AMAZING!! We got the beef pho, spring rolls with chicken and the beef bun noodle salad. The people were VERY friendly and helped us pick some great food to try..I went there very hungry and left very satisfied. Even the owner came out and talked to us. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Great Food!!. Simple menu but it was probably the most flavorful and authentic feeling Vietnamese I have had on this side of the river!! Definitely a good place to go!!!
INFERIOR SERVICE - GOOD FOOD. I've eaten at Pho Noi Viet five times. Nothing wrong with the food. The
dining room is attractive and spacious; lovely color scheme; very cool retro hand-lettered signs on the windows.
But the waiters and waitresses are just about the worst I have ever
encountered, incredibly slow and
inattentive. One other problem, again stemming from the waitstaff:
Their radio behind the counter, which shouldn't be on in the first place, is often tuned to a
talk radio station, which makes for obtrusive noise in what should
be a nice and relaxing dining room. The owners must pay more attention to service & ambiance.
First time there last night. I thought it was really yummy! Their vegan pho is delicious and the meatball bahn mi is amazing. My server was very nice as well. Definitely recommend.
I don't know much about Pho, but I have eaten at just about every Vietnamese place in the city so far and enjoy it. This place struck me as more similar in food style to the heavily ethnic, authentic spots in New Orleans East. The prices were good too, I thought -- I had the large ($8 at lunch) of the rare beef and brisket. I only ate half because it was so huge. Next time I may get the small, which is only one dollar less. I'd like to also try the buns, po boys etc.
The service was friendly but kind of slow that day (didn't refill my water, took a long time to bring me my check).
I'll be back.
Nothing can compare to mama’s homemade meal, but I’m very surprised at what Pho Noi Viet had to offer…
The bowl of Pho feel just like they were made at home. Wonderfully delicious and customer service was over the top. I am so glad we had a chance to try it out.
Awesome Vietnamese. We were in town for a bit and this place came highly recommended. We got for take out, pho, pad Thai, beef skewers and a beef bahn mi. The staff was so nice and they were following good safety protocols.
Definitely worth a visit if craving a good bowl of PHO! Had a large pho tai and spring rolls w shrimp. Pho was really good! The noodle was cooked perfectly and the broth was plenty and flavorful. Needed something like this so badly after eating fried stuff all day!! Service was great too. Thank you.
Their pho is so flavorful! I got takeout and planned to watch a TV show while I ate, but I kept the TV off so I could fully immerse myself in this epicurean experience.
The staff were noticeably friendly and the restaurant had a very comfortable atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back and dine in!
Food was good, flavors were fresh and classic, I ordered a Thai iced tea and beef banh mi with shrimp spring rolls.
Rolls were fresh a little chewy strong mint rush with sweet shrimp undertones. Paired with peanut sauce slightly spicy nice kick
Banh mi was good not chewy beef was good and sandwich was made well and did not fall apart. Perfect to grab food and go with whoever.
I had the large #6. So delicious and filling. Almost didn't finish it. But with some motivation from the owner I was able to. Water and food came very quickly. Great food and great atmosphere.
Very good Vietnamese food. Meat is so good. Wait time is about average 5-10 minutes. Been here couple times, both for dine in and take out. Enjoy both times.
Fantastic food, drove from Baton Rouge to Laplace to Magazine for this place. Not disappointed at all, a must try!
Absolutely wonderful! The staff is friendly and enthusiastic and the food is fresh. They serve the best spring rolls I've EVER had (and I love my spring rolls!). We had the lemon grass chicken and shaking beef. Both were delicious and the portions were large. I can't wait to go back, I think I'm going to become a 'regular' here😉.
There is a lot of good food in New Orleans, but honestly Pho Noi Viet is by far the BEST! If you want fresh Vietnamese food you have to go here. No one does it better than these guys! Plus they are a 100% family owned and operated which is so special. Every time my husband and I go to dine we feel so welcomed and like family. They make the best limeade in the city! They have the best everything!!!! Love this place so much!
