We visited this location from Canada food was amazing better than two cities we visited in Mexico this trip service was great price was better than in Mexico. Churros was very good not super sweet like other places.
Tyra answered all questions that we had regarding the choices we had and provided superb customer service skills and has done that the past few times we have been here. We continue to come back because of her! Her attitude lights up the atmosphere and she is a great addition to the team. She should be management! Thank you Tyra and to the Felipe’s crew for a great experience.
I must say the crew at Felipe's on Carrollton are 👏 Amazing.I don't revisited allot of places because they aren't Welcoming ,but on Wednesdays me & my family make it a point to patronize for the good food and A-1 customer service.This crew always brighten our day with warm smiles & conversation even when the are super busy they never forget to make you fell Welcome.Thanks Naz, Joceline, Kermith & Joshua for the excellent customer service and always making us feel like family ❤️

The food and drinks are still amazing. The only thing that's upsetting is that the WiFi has not been working well for MONTHS, and it's really sad because I used to come here and work all the time! I hope they get it fixed soon
Their happy hour is SO WORTH IT!
Their margaritas are the best I've had in new Orleans so far. Each made with a double shot and only 5 bucks for happy hour. The 2 buck tacos are also delicious.
I cant get over how amazing this food is. We keep coming back, and are really going to miss it when we leave. I mean THEIR NACHOS ARE SO GOOD! Every employee has a smile on their face. They have a salsa station which has really good pickled carrots and limes. Definitely worth it!
The whole place is amazing, the food is delicious. But those chairs are awfully uncomfortable, please get new ones, they make under the table extremely crowded, and they are way too solid. But other than that, I love Felipe's!
This is my favorite location to visit. The staff are incredible. Julio, Joceline, and Juan Carlos always make sure that my food is top notch, and they are very patient and encouraging when I try to order in Spanish (I'm trying to brush up).
They have found a repeat customer.
Very enjoyable, Chipotle style build your own Mexican (but much better than Chipotle.) Also while simple menu theres lots of options available good flavors and my chimichanga was fried to perfection (chimichangas come topped with queso I got mine without) and it's also larger in it appears in the photo (it's hefty) Also ordered avocado fries which were also good. Service was fast but not rushed and to me was neutral not outstanding in either direction if your looking for Mexican food in NOLA I'd recommend it :)
Legit some of the beeessssttttt Al Pastor I’ve ever had! Between the killer happy hour deals, authentic recipes & Becky’s (bartender) vivacious personality, I find myself having dinner and margs here several times a week. Definitely my favorite Felipe’s location.
Me and my best friend stopped in for some grub & tequila. We ended up sitting at the bar with Becky as our bartender & server. She was incredibly sweet, genuine, personable and worked in a timely fashion! Phenomenal service & will be absolutely be back specifically for Becky!
A real homegrown experience with excellent wait staff and delicious food!! Will definitely be back! Shout out to our waitress Kecia for her amazing service and personal touch ❤️
I usually go to the one in the French quarter cuz they’re awesome too! But this one for one has guaranteed free parking. Also, the guy that works the line Tony is freakin awesome!! He always recommends good options, puts care into the taco and burrito! This is def a good tasting cheap food spot to hit up, especially when your on a tight tight budget! $2 tacos everyday from 3p-6p ain’t never hurt nobody! Precate you Felipe’s. Please keep using quality fresh ingredients!!!!!

Great food and drinks! Staff was professional. The lady working there named Kecia was very nice. Considering how busy it was she was still able to work fastly and engage in conversation with me.
This is my favorite location. I come here several times a week. Usually for happy hour. The bar staff is always very friendly and attentive. Last week I had several family member visit from out of town so I brought then in for happy hour. We had a great experience and they couldn't stop talking about how they wished there was a similar place back in our hometown. 10/10 as always at the bar.
For my European taste the food was really good - especially taco salad and quesadilla. We really liked the frozen margaritas - they are stronger than one may think...;) On the minus side - every time we paid a different price for the same drinks - between 25-36USD, so the difference is vast.
My normal stop when I want a burrito, chips and guac. Prices are what they are, food prices have increased everywhere, 11$ for a burrito is pretty much standard. Great tequila selection at this location. Staff is always on point, courteous and food is fresh. During my most recent visit Dailyn, Joceline and Tyra took care of me and I was in and out in minutes but make no mistake the quality isn't that of fast food. The staff cares and it shows.
I love Felipe's on N. Carrollton - one of my favorite bar & eats spots in the neighborhood. Becky our bartender is the best! We schedule our visits for when she’s working. Food comes out lightening fast, and is tasty and reasonably priced. All of the bartenders are amazing, calm, and kind, even with the occasional cranky or unreasonable customer.
Updated - 9/16/22- had 3 yummy tacos with ground beef, refried beans and guacamole and it was delicious. Friend had this lovely bowl of soup. There was live music (a but loud inside) bar was full, outside had plenty of diners. We enjoyed everything.
Previous-Had regular burrito with grilled chicken, rice and refried beans. The rice was a little dry as was the chicken. I asked them to cut up chicken a little but they refused.The guacamole was fresh and delicious. The brownie was good. I find that some times everything is fresh cooked, sometimes not.. I WAS CONTACTED by management and they graciously addressed my issues. Big thumbs up to Felipe's! I'll definitely return soon!
