Quick lunch. Located in One Shell Square, this sandwich joint has some good options to please anyone. I have eaten here many times while working for Shell and I have never been disappoint.
Great sandwich...Great service !!. Loved it......had the 'Big Bambino' with fries...."Mmmmm, Mmmm !!" Highly recommend it if you're in the area.
Their breakfast it good. We.... Their breakfast is good. We have had their breakfast burritos, omlets and french toast. Prices are decent. Rude service though. Wont go back just for that reason.
Great sandwiches; huge menu!. The menu for this place spans the entire wall. There were so many choice that it was mind-boggling. I ended up picking the veggie burger, but there were tons of options (and a decent number of vegetarian ones to boot). My sandwich was big, and the burger was loosely-packed, more of a loaf than a grilled burger, but it tasted fantastic.
There were so many choices, I'll have to come back and give more a try before I feel like I have a true impression of the place.
One of my NOLA go to spots. We eat here at least once everytime we come to New Orleans, especially during Football season, WHO DAT!?!?!, and Mardi Gras. Paul and Ashley make you feel at home in The Big Easy at The Big Apple. Great Sandwiches, po-boy style New York favs.

Decent sandwiches. Good sandwiches. Smallish portions. Decent rings. Boring dill pickle. Cliched NYC décor, but unusual for NOLA. No parking, crowded curbs. Fast and friendly. Great selection. I liked my reuben though hair dry (ask for extra Russian). 09.
Best Sandwiches in New Orleans. Empire State has some of the best sandwiches in New Orleans. Our office eats here for lunch at least once a week. They have a great variety of sandwiches that you will not find anywhere else. The BBQ Beef Brisket hero is phenomenal. The All-American, Philly Cheesesteak, Brooklyn Dodger (Reuben), everything is great!
Tried this out as it's right near my work. Friendly service. Definitely not a place to get a salad though if that's what you're looking for. I got a cobb salad and it was sad and very minimal. Definitely more of a side salad situation. My fault I guess. I'm sure the sandwiches are better.
Best Reuben I've ever had! Also had the chicken version of an Au Jus sandwich, and it was fantastic as well! And, had a filet roast beef that was top notch. Highly recommend!
Uh...dang!...what took me so long? Maybe the limited hours but wow! Finally a burger I can call my own and recommend to coworkers. I will say between this and Commerce around the block, this one has the slight edge plus has a bit more room to get into place during lunch. Super nice folks. Cool atmosphere. Can't wait to do the Reuben and many others. Gonna be hard to get past the Cooperstown burger tho!
This deli was recommended by a coworker and it is everything he said. In my humble opinion this is as good a NYC deli as you will get in New Orleans. The sandwich’s are served hearty and they all have NY themed names. Great vibe in the place. Solid lunch option.
So damn good. Their Brooklyn Dodger is the best ruben on planet earth. Which, according to NASA, likely places this sandwich among the best in the entire observable universe.
Their burgers, fries, french dip ("The Yankee Clipper")... it's all really good.
Boars head lunch meat is the best! You can create your own sandwiches.
Wow! Near my hotel and amazing NY deli food here! Absolutely recommend! All of us in my party enjoyed our different sandwiches/subs. Order at the counter. This was truly a delicious taste of New York right here in the Big Easy. I was impressed.
Greek salad delivered fast, amazingly fresh, and delicious!!!!! First experience can’t wait until the next.

Cozy family owned deli. Had the Beef Brisket and the Chicken Chowder Soup and was not disappointed.

Man on man, first visit there yesterday for take-out. Paul is doing it right as far as distancing, etc, but he's really hit it on the head with the food!! We ordered the Reuben, the Hampton, the Manhattan, and the New York Ranger. Can I just say, delicious fresh ingredients and great flavor combos. Please support this local business who's not only offering great food, but offering a safely distant space in which to pick it up to go or enjoy inside!!
