We were visiting from Tampa, FL. Had boiled crabs, fat, well seasoned. Service was great. Price was very reasonable! Great New Orleans neighborhood restaurant.
What can I say about village inn? As Olaf would say "All good things! All good things!" They have an amazing variety of seafood and Italian food to satisfy all your cravings! My experience started with a fantastic stuffed artichoke as the appetizer, heated to perfection. As the main course I ordered the Crawfish Veronica and all I can say is YUM! Then for dessert (because what good is a meal without dessert?) I got the Oreo cheesecake. I practically inhaled it! It was so good!! If I wasn't so full of have ordered another one! The server always had a smile on her face! Everyone was so friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will DEFINITELY be returning to Kelley's Village Inn as much as possible!!
They have fantastic food. Their Muffelatta's are very delicious unlike any I have had in a very long time. Their Pizzas are awesome along with their Hamburger Po-Boy's. Service was awesome. Very friendly staff and smiling faces.. A Family atmosphere.
This place sucks. Village inn has horrible food most of it is either unseasoned or burnt. The servers are very unfriendly and the owners almost never come out to say hi. Their never busy unless they are giving something away like all you can eat shrimp or 1.99 a pound crawfish that are not that good. Also the place looks like a peach puked everywhere. The salad bar is horrifying. The place was good but one of the former owners sold out but and now recently the price has Very high prices and the food is crap. I am also embraced for anyone to know I went their.
Excellent food. First time to eat here, but won't be the last! The crawfish were perfect and oysters were the best I have eaten in New Orleans! Will be back!
Time warp.. Walking in here i immediately felt as if i had stepped back 30 years. decent food at decent prices. just know this place is as far away from "hip" as you can get. i am surprised the 20 something ironic hipsters have not found this place.

Had the boiled crawfish and they were seasoned perfect. Along with a huge order of onion ring.
The food is GREAT, seafood is the best! The prices are very affordable, the lunch buffet is always good
If you go there for pizza, the KITCHEN ZINK is the thing to get!!
Village Inn. Their raw oysters are wonderful, as is their boiled seafood. I have also had their fried seafood, and it is very good too. Many places have a tendency to overcook the fried seafood, this place does not. Their seafood gumbo once was delicious, the next time, yuck. I don't like buffets, period. Their stuffed artichoke is also very good, and their onion rings rock. I was disappointed with their roast beef po'boy, as I could tell the gravy was not homemade. All this being said, I NEVER miss going to this restaurant when I am in the city. The price is great, very family oriented (which can be irritating when kids are allowed to run wild), friendly staff, and the oyster shucker knows what he is doing, you do not get a mouthful of shells.
Had the raw oysters Saturday special and a club sandwich. Fantastic! Great service from Robin.
We love their boiled crawfish..... they're the best!! Our dessert was bread pudding and it was so delicious!! Excellent service too!! We've been there about 3 or 4 times and we are always very pleased with whatever we ordered. All together great experience eating there.
Great food and service. My mom and stepdads favorite restaurant for years. The food never disappoints.
They have the best cold and salty raw oysters in town. The servers are friendly and efficient. The onion rings are fried to perfection and are served as a very generous portion. There is not a bad dish on the menu. Excellent fried seafood. Highly recommend the club sandwich.
Delicious as always. Never disappointed. Fresh oysters always or you can choose the all u can eat lunch buffet which is my father's favorite. Definitely a relaxed atmosphere and employees that make you feel like family. Probably because we go so much they feel like family.
Everything was really good we really love their food..Jody was our server, and she was very nice and served us well..I didn't give 5 stars because I noticed a lady who appeared to be the owner or some type of management and I felt some type of way because she greeted every table in the area we were sitting, but passed by ours and said nothing, overlooking us..We were the only black customers there. It doesn't bother me sitting in a room full of people of another race, but my problem is feeling discriminated against anywhere I'm spending my money....As far as the food goes, I do recommend this place
I eat at this restaurant several times a month. Each day of the work week they have great specials for lunch and dinner. Always greeted with a smile. We all like to be seated when we walk into the door but if you have to wait to be seated. It's well worth the wait. There seafood has a great taste fried and boiled. Love hand battered onion rings? Yes!! They have the best!! The amount of food you get is well worth what you pay for.
If you eat there at the end of your meal. Don't forget to get a soft served ice cream in a cone.
Thank you Village Inn for making my visits enjoyable and tasty!!
Wanted to say how much I enjoyed my experience. The steaks were cooked as requested. The food gets a thumbs up- but what made the experience totally enjoyable was our server Michelle P. She was quick and efficient mostly just great and did I say funny.
Thanks Michelle for a great night of good food, service and even more good laughs.
*Best Shrimp & Fish lunch buffet around
* Best price...can't beat $11.95 which includes not only all shrimp you can eat (Wed) or Fish (Fri), but has a salad bar, with usually 2 soups, plus a seafood fettuccine, white beans etc...also serves pizza, a cobbler, and usually fried okra.
* The servers are quick & courteous
* The parking is not so great, BUT that's because it's a great place to eat. You may have to park & walk a bit, but worth it.
I live in the area and have been going here for 20+ years. Always good fried seafood, boiled seafood and raw oysters. Dennis and his wife (owners) are always there working like crazy. Great food and value. Love supporting the local guys. Over the years I've bought live crabs, crawfish and sacks of oysters. They have a great relationship with their fishermen. Highly recommended.
Good oysters,clean&cold
Good BBQ grilled too.Not greasy like others. Seems to be always busy for supper.Family place.
Back again 2weeks later. Best price on boiled crawfish in area.I called around! Beautiful ,good size w/many giant wild caught crawfish-CLEAN.well seasoned w/out too much salt&heat. Served steaming from the pot!
WHAT A TREAT! We also ordered homemade fried onion rings.AHuge platter was served.Took home 1/2.
It is 1/2hr drive,And we will be regulars. Great place to bring out of town guests.
I know crawfish,I used to go in swamp w/grandpa to catch them! This is the Real Deal.⚜️
Onion rings for appitizer were the best I've had. Super hot right out the fryer. Not greasy, crisp, perfect coating. Boiled crabs again fabulous. Shrimp remoulade salad was perfection. Fried catfish plate was the best I ever had. Super hot fried catfish right out the fryer. Coleslaw and baked cheese macaroni were my sides. I have only good things to say about Village Inn. Service was on point. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great food. Very good on your wallet. Friendly staff. Wednesday and Saturday oysters under $6/dozen mug beer cold. The oysters were the best we had this year (2018) very salty and big.
Sam is a good waiter, but a little slow. Food is good, we love the boiled crawfish, great price on Wednesday and Saturday. Oyster(raw) also. Fried shrimp is excellent. Comfortable place.
