Hands down a great quick option! The lines are long but it moves quickly most of the time. Parking is absolutely terrible but the food is pretty good so you be ok by the time you eat your food. The food is prepared well, great portions, and pretty accurate with your order. The prices have increased
I ate here for the first time since the early 90's and the food is STILL FIRE!!! Definitely coming back every chance I get!
Their egg rolls were amazing. I was just a little put off by one of the people taking orders being so loud. I'm sure she just wanted people to hear her. But it made people feel a little off or uncomfortable.
Food is always fresh and you get a lot of food for the price, it's always crowded with people if you are picking up take out be prepared to wait about 20 minutes but the food will not disappoint.
It was one of popular Chinese cuisine. There was a long line for lunch. Take out only as of Jan 27, 2023.

The Chinese Kitchen has giant egg rolls and great boneless chicken. The menu is a basic Chinese menu with reasonable prices and large portions. The service is no nonsense and meant to be as efficient as possible so don't get your feelings hurt if the staff is short with you and does not want to chat
The place is still crowded with lines out the door you make your orders and they still don't fill them correctly. But damm I love this place. The egg rolls are to die for and the barbecue ribs are great.
My boy told me "It's like ya mama made it!!!" The fried rice is better than what I used to get in Brooklyn!!!! Hell yeah!!!! (My enu was snapped recently so trust it is the right one! 😂

Only "To Go" orders. No sit down service. Food was good with long lines! This place has been around a long time! Since the 70's! It's a safe bet and better then most of the Chinese food around their!
One of those hidden gems in New Orleans that has been around for over 30 years. Great food. As of 5/2/2023 Chinese Kitchen is still not doing dine in service. This is a shame, because it has a nice small dining area. This place is no where near as crowded as it use to be. Don't go if you don't like
