Bud Rips - New Orleans - Photo album

It's a cool little neighborhood bar in a cool little neighborhood in the Bywater... According to the signage, Bud Rip's has been around since 1960. The beer and drinks are cheap and its a good stop for a late night in the Bywater. Will definitely stop back soon!
Now this is my favorite bar in New Orleans, the best music is here, this is very close to my house, I saw it many times since I arrived but it was my first time and definitely I will back
Great bar 60’long beautiful back bar pool table outside seats and puppies on the bar LOL
Was a place advised to visit and so glad I did, really friendly, cool vibes, good beers, didn't really want to leave!
Service always great, also good restaurant next door. Ambience and music on a jukebox. Nicest bar in Bywater.
They do not have food but the bartender was cute and pleasant. Helpful. She played great music on the juke box
I asked the question. Does anything suck in New Orleans!! Bud rips was great low-key it wasn’t crowded. Perfect place to get in on the afternoon. The atmosphere is phenomenal. There’s a couple great restaurants nearby. As a sidenote, I highly recommend the Bywater neighborhood
Excellent dive. Good bartender. Poppin on the weekends.
Old bar with old New Orleans flavor and friendly atmosphere everyone is welcome.
Prices are higher since pre covid but whatever. Awesome bartenders. Great music, a bit loud but we were only about 10 ft from the dj. A good crowd of peoples.
Lovely chill vibe. Local staff, who're chatty, informative & give great recommendations.
Not a bad place! Swanky in its own way. They were too busy for the amount of staff so that lowered the experience a little, but a good space and will go back for sure. The bartender in this pic was super cool, and once the wave of people fanned out, gave us full attention.
Beautiful bar! Definitely a neighborhood favorite! Always the best crowds and cool people. Super cheap happy hour so its wallet friendly. Great draft beer selection and craft cocktails. Had a ghost peper infysee tequila with hibiscus and lime. Amazing!
Great bartenders and good drinks. Some of the best pool players in the city play here and don't mind giving tips. Friendly place!
Awesome bar! Tucked away in the marigny with cheap drinks and sometimes free food for the bar patrons. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. And there is a pool table to enjoy a game of pool if that is your thing. Definitely worth trying out
An amazing neighborhood bar with a good drink selection and great service. The place has a very laid back and friendly vibe. I highly recommend this bar.
A geat neighborhood bar, made famous as a filming location for the 2004 movie, 'A Love Song for Bobby Long.' John Travolta and Scarlett Johannson had several scenes in that place. Great movie! Great bar! I was surprised there wasn't something inside to commemorate Bud Rip's participation in the movi
Great neighborhood bar! Really good drinks...awesome atmosphere and bar tenders
My favorite bar in NOLA. Great staff, beer, and jukebox.
