I usually go to Daiwa for sushi on the Westbank, but they are still not doing dine in on the Westbank location, only the Metarie location. So Oushii was recommended to me by my cousin and this place did not disappoint. It's a small restaurant, really has a family run restaurant vibe. There
This place has pretty good sushi, but be careful of this google page. I ordered using one of the ordering pages and went in to the restaurant and my order wasn't ready because they don't have those apps. You have to call them to place an order.
Excellent service and the rolls are on point. You won't leave this place hungry, with that said. Their rolls are massive and very cheap. The photos sometimes don't do justice, so picture this. Absolutely wonderful experience!!! During Algiers One Meet and Eat I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp dinner. Came out quickly and delightfully fresh. I was impressed with the amount of people in our group how quickly and hot the food came out. No one's order was messed up! Will definitely be back.
I frequent this restaurant because they have the best sushi on the westbank nearest my home. Their prices are very fair, the food is always fresh and staff is friendly. They know me by name and my to go orders are always ready on time
Really good Japanese restaurant. Kind staff and alot of delicious rolls to choose from: cooked, raw, no rice, you name it! They also have awesome Hibachi! If your on the West Bank and wanting really good high quality sushi without breaking the bank compare to other Japanese restaurants nearby this
I had the Hawaii roll-delicious! I had the miso as my complementary soup. The service was awesome. There was a party of 6 when I walked in and no one else but us in the rsraurant. I sat down and the waitress came over immediately and took my order. By the time she put my order in, 4 others walked in
Normally don't leave 5 star but this place is Dine in and carry out! Staff is super and sushi is made fresh! Nice cosy corner on the West Bank! Din in and enjoy the best Miso soup while you wait! Kid friendly and quiet dining!
It's great! Secret: Chef's Special is a rainbow roll... for 7.95. Great deal. Also, their noodle dish is awesome. Great spot for a good meal
Cafe Zen is always my favorite and it just happen to be on the Westbank but man Oishi has really good overall creative and super good tasting sushi n rolls n homemade sauces n rice. Amazing!! Can’t stop thinking of the tuna tartar.
Amazing place to eat, it’s a small friendly environment that has fantastic foods to choose from, hibachi and sushi cooked and raw is delightfully spot on and delicious! Staff is super friendly and welcoming.
Best Sushi place on the Westbank. So far I've tried 7 other places. All don't compare in comparison

Was pleasantly surprised that such a great sushi place was on the Westbank by our house. We never noticed it here. Affordable and solid place to eat. A+++
Solid sushi place. Miso soup was delicious. Jalepeno popper app was terrific. Am awesome 2 roll combo for under $10.
