Grit's Bar - New Orleans - Photo album

Place hasn't changed since I was a kid was more of a place to shoot pool. After work hangout then later at night more of a college bar. Never had food there but do have a kitchen think they serve on weekends. Staff friendly. It is what it is that's why it still open
It's a friendly neighborhood bar. I had to wait there while my daughter was getting ready (she lived next door in an efficiency apartment). The barkeep recommended a locally brewed beer, Abita. It was pretty good. I didn't have time to finish it. My daughter came in & we went on our way.
Awesome and who wants to go play darts? with people who are good at the game some one in their will give you a great shot and you will have a blast with the rest of the local clientele that are from the area
Energy on Friday and Saturday night was high. young and friendly crowd. Crowded but not difficult to get service. Darts 🎯 was fun.
We went to Grit's Bar for some post wedding reception drinks and dancing! It was perfect! We chatted with Chris prior to a group of ~30 of us arriving, and they made us feel very welcome! Great, friendly bartenders, fun music, and good vibes!
Amazing people and staff...the owner is doing great things with this place!!! If you're in town, highly suggest you drop by for a visit and a chance to meet Jackie and Mable (owners dogs) they are crowd favorites, but make sure you bring a ball for Jackie!!!
Family Gathering & perfect place for it. Only bad thing was I wasn't able to stay long.
My jam. Big, open, unique space with a sweet, chill patio out back. The owners Chris and Nancy are honestly two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Lots of TVs, great for Saturday or Sunday Gameday! Ethan and Max are excellent Bartenders, the kind that will always remember your name and what you dri
Stopped in after a few drinks down the street and we had a great time. This place is big! Drink prices are good and the music was perfect. A good mix of 60s 70s and 80s. We played darts for two hours, drank and danced. We will be back soon!
Great staff, great food, reasonable drink prices (which is a rare find anywhere in the city). Friday night steaks (both Filet and Ribeye) are on par with fine dining restaurants (both in quality and preparation). Sides taste home cooked (Cajun mashed potatoes / green beans) and not made from a pack
