Chap's Chicken Restaurant & Catering - New Orleans - Photo album

Got tired and ordered a shrimp salad with bacon. The shrimp was grilled and looks great. I needed to stop running miles as it was hot outside. I Needed something light. The shrimp was seasoned well. Not overly New Orleans, but moderstely seasoned. I liked it
Excellent chicken, the price was right, and the pieces were large, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Tom Benson had Chaps chicken in his suite at the Superdome. A true Lakeview gem.
Chicken is fried and very tasty. White meat is juicy. Pieces are large. I didn't care much for the coleslaw flavor. The green beans were good. For $11 including tax I had 2 large wings, 2 large breasts and a side. I have 2 meals.
Awesome chicken, fries and coleslaw. Spicy chicken was perfect - seasoned with a little kick - not overpowering. Owner is meticulous about her food and customer service. Will be a regular now, that's for sure. Peanut oil for frying is the best - not many places do it b/c it's expensive. Chaps rocks
Awesome fried chicken and I enjoyed a side of creamed spinach and the skinny fries.. Chicken was well seasoned, piping hot, crisp yet moist and juicy. It was cooked in pure peanut oil. Interior extremely clean and inviting. Courteous help and the owners were delightful. Will definitely return
Chap's Chicken was absolutely fantastic. Not only is their fried chicken the best damn chicken you'll ever taste, but the staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. The kind women there actually took the time to speak with us and write out a list of places we should visit on our trip to New Orleans,
Love Chap's! The chicken is always hot and delicious. Perfectly seasoned but not too salty. The mac and cheese is also tasty. Support a local business and check them out.
I decided to check out this place after seeing all these great reviews to see what the hype was about. They are not exaggerating. The chicken was flavorful, crispy, and affordable. If you like fried chicken, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't give it a shot.
We had a graduation party with no time to cook. Lyn did a fantastic job! Sandwiches were plump and delicious, cocktail meatballs were tender and juicy and he made a vegetarian gluten free eggplant casserole that everyone raved about. Our out of town guests were happy to take home the leftover brea
I love their fried chicken and my friend had the red beans and rice with sausage and jambalaya - everything was delicious. We were there close to closing time, the chicken isn't just sitting around under infrared lights, it was fried to order.
