Best Thai food around!. We love this place. It is consistently good. The lunch Pad Thai is fantastic. It comes with a soup and dumpling :) Everything we've ever tried has been delish. Highly Recommend.
Liked it every time I have gone!
Best Thai Food. My family and I have visited this restaurant many times, and it offers the best Thai food that we have eaten in the area. My wife is from Asia, and she regularly wants to take the trek up to New Port Richey to indulge in the many tasty dishes. We really enjoy the Tom Yum soup, the Pad Se-Ew, the Garlic and Black Pepper, and the Fried Rice. If you like Thai food, this restaurant is a must try!
Excellent Sushi. Pad Thai was just ok
Love it. Sushi appetizer is delicious and staff is friendly. I also recommend the green curry.
Good food, Poor Service, OK Atmosphere. The food is good, sometimes VERY good, especially the tempura fried seafood and many of the curries. The green curry shrimp is my favorite. But the portions are on the small side for the price and the sushi is very standard, which means it is better than most Tampa sushi but nothing exciting if you know sushi
The service has always left something to be desired; the waitress is usually the same girl and she is pretty forgetful sometimes. The atmosphere is clean, the patrons are nice, the decor is pleasing. If I am craving Thai food this will do, but it's little pricey for the location.

I eat here often. The quality and flavors of the food are excellent! The staff wear traditional Thai clothing which is very elegant. Also, the staff are always friendly and skilled. The restaurant is clean with nice decor. Love it!
Worth every penny. Three words- Fresh Fresh Fresh!!!!!! Can't wait to go back!!!!
Great atmosphere! What a place to take your office to for a quick pick me up or meeting. The staff even reserved a nice section for us! never experienced great service before on this level. lunch specials are great and their sushi is by far the best I've had. Definitely recommend it!
Huge portions! Fantastic food!. We went in there for the first time and our first experience. Staff was helpful (even if through broken english) in working us through the menu, the food came out fresh, and delicious. The only problem we had was with trying to get sugar for iced teas and the sauce hotter initially, otherwise, very tasty! would go again!
Wow, Awesome, Amazing!!. First time here and just made me want to write a review!! Truly lived up to its reviews from previous posts!! Wanted to go Asian tonight and I found a gold mine in our area.. sushi fresh, sauces are savory and packed with flavor.. Sushi presentation was something to witness! Will definitely be back for their Thai cuisine next. Saw some good looking dishes!
In response to LAUREN TRINITY. OMG, I am so sorry for what happen with your take-out order. It is definitely our fault for any confusion that we may have caused you and your family. I have to laugh at the previous review because this restaurant is by far one of the top restaurants (top favorite) in the Trinity area. Being a chef in the area, I feel I have to defend restaurants that put in as much work as the Samurai family has. One can not compare Thai takeout to the actual dining experience this restaurant offers. From the staff to the authenticity to the quality of their food, Thai Samurai is the best place to experience an amazing, creative cuisine that allows you to escape reality for a couple of hours. The hole ontop of the togo box is to vent the steam from the appetizer which keeps it crispy and fresh. My restaurant does the same exact thing and all customers appreciate the fact that their fried foods do not get soggy. The use of sauce in Thai culture is to compliment the rice which creates a satisfying flavor when consumed, not so they can create smaller portions. I hope you do go back and actually dine-in. I almost feel compelled to buy your next meal! Overall, I just wanted to shed light on the review in turning a negative into a positive one.
Best Thai I've had in the area! The amazing land is the best thing EVER!
Fantastic Every Time!. We have been eating at Thai Samurai since it opened, and we have never been disappointed. The quality of their fish and all of their dishes are fantastic and the staff is wonderful! We had a hard time finding a good sushi place since moving from Tampa, but we have a new favorite in Thai Samurai!
BEST THAI in town!!!. I have never had a bad meal here. Their curries are wonderful! Love the vegetarian fare as it is extremely hard for some restaurants to master tofu!
For the individual who complained about portion size, perhaps you should reexamine what recommended portion sizes are. I've actually been served more food than I'm capable of eating.
WHOLLY SNAPPER!. Only one word comes to mind after dining at Thai Samurai with my family... Awesome! After literally studying the menu, my family came across a special entree called Paradise Snapper.. What caught my attention was the phrase "An experience worth trying." And soon enough, this gorgeous 4lb whole snapper comes out. At this point, I didn't know whether to indulge myself or admire the creation of this entree.. One important thing that I noticed and appreciated was the freshness of the snapper.. An amazing night for my family.. and those Thai donuts were a great way to end the meal
Food was authentic and fresh. I like all their curries. But the portion size is small and I always have to ask for more rice. Atmosphere is romantic and Thai traditional style. Sometimes they have stickey rice and mango on dessert menu, very good. Prices are average, check out daily specials, cheaper. I had duck one evening for about $10.00.
Superb!!!. Everything we have eaten here has been great! The atmosphere is warm and tastefully decorated. The service is friendly and attentive. Dishes include sushi, traditional Thai dishes, Japanese Noodles, salads, and curry dishes. Large selection-something for everyone.
This place is clean and the staff very friendly and warm. The atmosphere is full of rich detail without garish amounts of Asian decorations. It is just right. Now the important part, THE FOOD. The food herbs amazingly good. Clean and crisp flavors from Japanese and Thai cuisine. The pad Thai and nam sud are my favorites. If you get a chance, try the lemongrass coconut sake. It was wonderful. Don't pass this one up. :-)
