Great vibes, great food, you can tell that it's super authentic and legit. Be warned that they do not take any NFC / contactless payments. I'm assuming they take credit cards, but they won't take the same credit card in a different form? Silliness, businesses that don't literally allow you to give them money for their product like that will go under.
Everything was good otherwise but I almost couldn't pay, Even though they have an updated register. They simply won't accept it.
before they were located closer to North avenue, but the new location is much better and more spacious. the food is still very good. Mexican food that tastes like homemade food. all excellent, the only thing I would advise is that you take advantage because the place is so big that they can present live talent or singers with karaoke with a family atmosphere. the site lends itself to being taken advantage of in that way. They serve a delicious meal that has as an ingredient the goat or the sheep of which I will put some photos
El Michoacano has been a New Rochelle staple when it comes to its Spanish food offering. From their first location, the food remains absolutely delicious and I’d argue even larger portions since their move. Pictured are the enchiladas, burrito and quesadilla with a side of French fries. If you’re a looking for a quick meal, El Michoacano has you covered. Their huge dining room makes dining in easy and safe and the service is fast and friendly. You can’t ask for anything else! Can’t wait to stop in this weekend to grab a bite.

Only a few folks here speak English. That bodes well for their tacos, which are the best in the area (by far). Drinks are only OK as they are pretty sweet and taste artificial.
Only concern to note here is this is a family-oriented Mexican restaurant, meaning a ton of parties here with bands - sometimes multiple bands in the same space (not kidding).
Been going here for years have never had a bad meal. For $10 you can get a plate of food that would cost upwards of $20 else where and the quality of food is excellent. The staff is and always has been very polite and the food comes out ridiculously fast. Give it a try for sure.

Over all the plates are amazing, I enjoy the food and everything but I do believe they need to work on their Horchatas because it’s not really pleasing. But over all it’s an ok restaurant.
Best Latin American restaurant that you've never heard of. But in 2022? they moved into a larger space. The menu is expansive, the dishes are unique and the tastes are an un-Americanized delight
On a cold winter day, the delicious chicken soup here will fill you up. This is a simple place, nothing fancy, but the food more than makes up for the lack of ambiance. Be sure to dress warmly since the inside is cold - the front door is intentionally left ajar - I guess it helps with ventilation inside. Other than eating with your coat on, there are no downsides.

You got two appetizers when we ordered (chips and beans and pickled veggies). Food came out hot, as it was ready (which is my preference).
If you don’t like an ingredient(e.g. onions) they were happy to remove it.
If they say “it’s spicy” they are not fooling around.
It is not fussy at all. This is place for people who like good food. They have 2 TVs going, Spanish language but not too loud.
