If you’re on the fence, this Golden Krust location is definitely worth a visit… especially for breakfast and lunch. The food is fresh and the woman working the morning hours (maybe afternoon too) is kind, delightful and personable. I hope they remain a mainstay…lol I think that’s the word, with all of downtown New Ro changes. I’ve enjoyed every breakfast and lunch I’ve had. The food also travels well. In the past, I’ve taken it to work and heated it up for lunch.
I’ve been meaning to write this review, and truly what makes me forget to write is that every time I visit, I have something new to add from my experience.
In short, there are two reasons I go to this Golden Krust location: 1. the Jerk Chicken patties are divine. 2. Ms. Cavel.
Ms. Cavel makes the place feel warm and welcoming every morning, even with the winter cold seeping in. She’s a beautiful, patient, and kind woman. I’m thankful to see her at this Golden Krust every morning I am able to come in. Oh, and the patties yes - fresh, crispy, spicy, and made even better with her smile.

The customer service is always great and genuine. Ms. Cavel is always giving great customer service in person and over the phone. I literally travel to the bronx all the way to New Rochelle just to get food from this location all the time, the whole team is absolutely fantastic! I absolutely love it here. The employees at this location keep the areas clean from the kitchen to the front of the store and the food is always inside the pans. Great Hospitality
Went here this morning and bought the Ackee and Saltfish breakfast. All the staff greeted me with such a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. They keep the place clean and neat and my food was absolutely delicious! They not only get 5 stars for the amazing customer service but also for the food which was Devine! Will definitely be a regular customer at this golden crust!

This is one of my favorite places for excellent Jamaican food. The staff is very professional and love what they do. This place has large portion sizes for a small cost. I recently ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and it was delicious and fresh. I recommend this place to everyone.

I visited this restaurant while in town connecting with friends. I was looking for authentic Jamaican food and I found it. The stores appearance was very clean and tidy which prompted me to order. I initially went to that Mangoville place but from the looks of the place and the faces of the employees I decided not to buy there. Anyways, the price at Golden Krust was very affordable and the food was delicious. Would dine here again anytime. Keep up the good work guys
I stop by this restaurant from time to time in the mornings to grab a few beef patties. Service is great the young lady is always polite. Plus its nice to hear someone tell you to "Have A Golden Day"
The oxtails are always delicious. Akee and salt fish are soooooo good! All the food is amazing. The owner is so sweet and welcoming. All the workers are friendly. The place was recently renovated so it’s bigger and more space to sit and eat if you choose. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently went to this location on a rainy mothers day and unfortunately there was a mother working the front. The food tasted great and I couldn't get enough. I actually wanted more later on. Parking can be a hassle if it's during a busy time of the day/week. I have been going here since I used to cut school 14 years ago so I would certainly recommend giving this place a try
Went here with 2 of my coworkers after work this am. Never eaten Jamaican food in America. It was so freaking good. The lady who served is was down to earth and gave us a free piece of sweet potato pie.
I've always had a great experience eating here. The people are fast, accurate and pleasant. My food was always perfect. No long lines and excellent location to my office
