Glad I stopped here for lunch on my day on Block Island! Food, service and atmosphere great! No complaints. Restaurant right across from the ocean, beautiful! Outdoor seating and plenty of parking available. Nice bar area! If you find my review and pictures helpful, please give me a like! Thank you for reading!

Convenient seafood focused American restaurant just at the edge of town. Perfect spot for lunch if you’re spending the day at the beach just down the road. Some parking and a bike rack is available. The outdoor seating is excellent and ample. I don’t recommend the lobster roll at $29 (as of this review) since it’s a little small and not good value, though it is tasty. Most other items are better buys. Would recommend.

The baked cod was really good! Not a ton of beer options but a few good ones. The chicken focaccia was eh. Service was great. Didn’t have to wait. Bathroom was eh. View & ocean breeze were prime!

Decent beach side food. We had the calamari and the little necks. We stopped there having had our fill. Don't think you can go wrong here. Our server was fantastic and attentive!

I’ve been craving for some mudslides and beach view during my day off. And I thought of Beachead as they had the two things I was craving for. I was not extremely happy with what I got though. The mudslide honestly taste like chocolate milk 🥴 not much of alcohol for $14! I was planning to return it but I changed my mind since I don’t like drama lol The shrimp taco was okay but the french fries as side was kinda cold and not good. The ambience was fantastic! I think only the location is best in this place!

Casual restaurant in a beautiful setting. Clam strips and shrimps are very good when hot, but French fries are just ok.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Beachead Restaurant during my visit to Block Island, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I stepped foot into this beachside gem, I was greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing coastal ambiance. The highlight of my meal undoubtedly was the steamed lobster, fresh from their lobster tank right inside the restaurant! Cooked to perfection, I was thoroughly impressed. To accompany my meal, I decided to try their frozen mudslide. Sipping on while overlooking the beach was an absolute delight and added to the overall experience. Beyond the delectable food and drink, the service at The Beachead was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcome and taken care of throughout my visit. The beachfront location of The Beachead further enhanced the overall ambiance. The stunning views of the ocean and the gentle breeze made for the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal while soaking up the island vibes. I cannot recommend The Beachead enough. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply looking for a fantastic beachside restaurant, The Beachead is a definite must-visit on Block Island!!

Great lunch, friendly staff, gorgeous view of the beach/water. Cold lobster roll had a great dill flavor to it, and the summer melonade (cucumber vodka, seltzer, splash of lemonade) was refreshing without being sweet). Not to mention buck-a-shuck oysters from 3-4!

We stopped here for lunch on a day trip to Block Island. Food was decent. I got the California Chicken Sandwich which was alright but I would recommend getting the fisherman's platter, which is what my husband ordered and it was really good! The restaurant had cute outdoor seating and overall had a good vibe and good service.

Items ordered were raw oysters and pretzel sticks for appetizers, chicken fingers, fried clam plate and fisherman's platter for main meals - all were very good and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere (we sat outside). We will definitely come back on our next trip to the island!

I took my daughter and granddaughter to dinner tonight. The food was delicious. We had a perfect view of the water and watched the ferries come in and out. The mudslides were amazing and our server, Katherine, was exceptional. I highly recommended asking for Katherine if you are heading to this restaurant!

Great place, super friendly staff and good food. Very enjoyable, especially when the weather is nice (grab a table on the patio). We got the cold and hot lobster rolls and crab cakes - they were all great

We had an amazing dinner tonight. From apps to drinks to dinner and our server, Katherine, was priceless. She made our night even better. She went above and beyond for us and she was the icing on the cake for our evening. If you would like great food, a perfect view of the water and exceptional service ask for Katherine. You will not be disappointed!

We had a great lunch here! The food and drinks are tasty (the latter are a little watered down though) and not super expensive. Staff is very friendly and the service is swift. There’s 6ft between all tables and you need to wear a mask to enter.

We had a great lunch there. A pile of delicious clam strips, a couple of lobster rolls and more. The service was great. The view is outstanding and a little over priced but considering where you’re at. Priceless.
