Came here because of Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf and the macarons I tasted in Paris. Such a delight! Beautiful interior and the gift boxes are so color- & flavorful, got the Versailles one for loved ones.

Ladurée on Madison Ave is an enchanting slice of Paris right in the heart of New York City. From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a world of elegance and indulgence. The macarons here are nothing short of perfection. These delicate treats come in a myriad of flavors, each more delightful than the last. The texture is heavenly, with a crisp shell that gives way to a soft, flavorful center. You can taste the craftsmanship in every bite, and they make for the perfect gift or personal indulgence. But Ladurée is not just about macarons; it's about the entire experience. The ambiance is refined, with a charming interior that feels like a luxurious French salon. The attention to detail, from the pastel-colored decor to the exquisite table settings, is truly impressive. The tea selection is extensive, and the tea service is impeccable. It's the ideal spot for a leisurely afternoon tea with friends or a special someone. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, adding to the overall delightful experience. Delicious ice creams (loved their coffee flavor) and macarons. The seating is limited to 4 tables inside and a couple more outside. The use of plastic and paper cups definitely undermines the aesthetic experience as someone mentioned in previous comments.

It is a cute spot with amazing macaroons and chocolate cake. Two thumbs up for that. However, not in favor of outside seating (not clean or neat) or self service. Definitely serving coffee in paper cups kills the whole Parisian experience. Croissant Smoked salmon sandwich was not tasty.

Beautiful must visit when in the upper east portion of Central Park! The Macarons are absolutely delightful! 💛 It was a long lineup on a Monday, but understandably so given the popularity of the treats! Cute little location, but little seating, so don’t expect to stay to enjoy your purchase on site, especially on a colder day when seating isn’t available outside. Highly recommend a visit when in New York! 🗽✨

I always make time for a stop in at Ladurée. They have the best Macarons by far. I first experienced Ladurée macarons when I was in Paris…, imagine my surprise when I found out they have a location on Madison Avenue in New York City. Priceless. They can get all my money.😁

I had the Plaisir Secre, which is a milk chocolate hazelnut cake slice. It is definitely one of the best hazelnut cakes that I have ever had. Over a period of time I tried a number of their macarons. I like strong flavors, and I was anticipating that from their Pistachio macaron, but found that it had a mild Pistachio flavor. Their Caramel and Pomegranate macarons were VERY flavorful and delicious. I did not care for their vanilla and raspberry macarons, I think that the vanilla one did not match my vanilla ice cream expectation, and the raspberry one, I felt, was overly sweet. Their napoleon (millefeuille) is not among the most flavorful ones that I have had elsewhere. It was decent and mildly sweet. Their milk chocolate bar called Dulce de Leche (pictured in whole and cut) was delicious and five dollars each. Usually there is a long line to place an order. On my second visit there, it happened to be on a day when it was raining lightly. There was only one person ahead of me to place an order, I luckily avoided a possible half hour wait. Pictured macarons are, left to right, passion fruit, raspberry and vanilla.

I liked that they have outdoor seating, albeit only a few. They do have indoor seating, but when the weather is nice, it is great to hang out outside. It was close to closing time when I came, ergo the lack of abundant French Macaroons on display. They do have other offerings besides the usual expected delicacy - the macaroons, but that location didn’t disappoint nonetheless. Quick service, friendly staff, clean place. Was nostalgic of its Paris sister - i suppose that one is the original Laduree, so just a thought in case you would be hankering for this type of sweets. Enjoy!

Having tried macarons from various places, I can confidently say that Ladurée's offerings are simply unparalleled. Each macaron is a work of art, meticulously crafted to perfection. One of the aspects that sets Ladurée apart is the way their delicate flavors blend seamlessly. Whether you opt for classic flavors like rose, pistachio, or salted caramel, or venture into more adventurous choices, every macaron is a delectable symphony of taste. What truly impresses me is that none of the flavors overpower one another, ensuring a harmonious and balanced experience. During my visit, I was pleasantly surprised to find no line outside, allowing me to indulge in these heavenly treats without any delay. The friendly service further enhanced my visit, creating a welcoming and delightful atmosphere. As a macaron aficionado, I am thrilled that Ladurée has established an American location. It brings immense joy to have access to their extraordinary creations right here in New York City. Whether you're a macaron connoisseur or simply looking for a memorable dessert experience, Ladurée on Madison Ave. is an absolute must-visit.

You can expect to pay around $3 per macaron, which is a fair price considering the quality. We particularly enjoyed the pistachio flavor, but all of them were delicious. Keep in mind that due to the small location, there may not be any indoor seating available.

Gorgeous Parisian experience! I loved the sweet employees and their helpful manner. I thought the dine in option was closed at first but there’s limited seating available with vaccination cards present. I ordered 2 macarons, a rose latte and was delighted with the amazing quality of the desserts. Love this location and hope to visit Soho location soon!
