They have the best bread!!! I love their gluten free cookies and flour less chocolate cake. Quite honestly, everything I've tasted has been delicious. They're definitely my go to spot for breads and desserts. They also have the best customer service.

This place is a hidden gem on the far West side. Tucked away in the middle of 47th street and not jammed packed as you would expect. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. They are known for their incredible variety of fresh baked bread and of course, Bomboloni! (basically an excellent donut with a fruit or cream center for $3.75). They are a bit pricey so if you want more bang for your buck get the chocolate croissant for $3.50. Everything is good here so if you haven't been yet now is the time!

The food here speaks for itself, all you need to do is take one bite! What I want to write about this morning is a man named Clovis working the shop this (Sunday) morning on West 47th.... He has so much passion for this bakery I actually had to take time out of our vacation weekend to post about him. He is the type of guy that every retailer dreams about! Passion, smiling, knowledgeable, simply a pleasure to be in the presence of! In summary... Get in there, feed your face (mangia!), and meet Clovis!!

Best bread in NYC. Hands down. Our family favorites are the multigrain, pane de commune and stirato. Oh, and the potato pizza is yum too!

No signage. Asked the guy sitting on the fabulous driftwood bench out front, scarfing down a pastry, if this was indeed Sullivan's. It was. Pastry rendered me speechless. I was surprised he could speak while eating this extraordinary confection. Washed it down with a delectable coffee from The Jolly Goat two doors down. A+

Tried this bakery while we were in the area, and the bread here is baked perfectly, especially focaccia. We also sampled their croissants, raspberry bomboloni. Nice bakery!

I’ve heard about this bakery for a long time and I finally had a chance to visit it. I saw so many baked goods that I couldn’t decide what to get. I’ve heard the bombolonis are very good so I decided to try them out. I know I’m coming back because I have to try one of the handmade loaves of bread that this bakery is well known for.

Great bakery. The focaccias and sandwiches are quite nice. Tiramisu maritozzo is to die for. I also liked the attention the shop took to the design of the logos/products (sleeves, cups etc.). The only downside is the unfriendly staff, which could be overlooked for the sake of the amazing baked goods though.

Zucchini was good. Soft and the dough was very chew and nice. The vanilla filled donut like pastry was a delicacy. Very rich and creamy with lots of filling. The environment in the store was very chill and relaxing. But I wish that when your are food is served, it is at least on a place so that the customers can comfortably enjoy their food. Instead of munching it with our hands and the paper bag. especially the soft eggs with prosciutto on brioche, which come highly praised. The bakery opens daily at 8 a.m.
