Da Marino Restaurant - New York City - Photo album

Get the Tiramisu! Made the traditional way in a sheet pan (vs individual) it was excellent. Best a I’ve had in the US (maybe a tiny touch too much whipped cream on the top layer). Pasta dinners were all lovely and typical of a good Italian restaurant. The wine list wasn’t current but the waite
We were welcomed at the door. The atmosphere was fantastic. We got a great table for two. The server was great. The food and wine was exceptional. To top it off they had a piano player and singer. Great experience all around!
Worth the reservation or popping in! Such a cool place from the decor, the live piano, and the servers. The chocolate infused pasta was out of this world incredible. Sounds strange… just do it. You won’t regret it! The manager, Tom, is also awesome!
I love Italian food, and the lasagna was excellent. The lentil soup and bread, along with the glass of wine, tasted so good.
We hoped for a comfortable and reasonably well priced dinner following a Broadway show. We were pleasantly surprised at the fresh, delicious Italian food and had an amazing evening here. If Tom (manager), John (waiter), Dennis (piano/singing), and Josh (bartender) are all there, you are in for a tru
This is my choice during every visit to NYC. Outstanding personalized piano player/singer. Food is 5* Service is 5* Ambience is 5* You feel like you're in Italy. The decor is just perfect. Touch of Italy everywhere. Stars pictures on wall. Location from The Christmas tree is a 12 minute walk. I c
Did we have to wait for a table? Yes. Was it worth it -1000%! My sister & brother in law were in NY for a concert and wanted GOOD Italian & we knew just the place! Great conversation while waiting, super attentive service and all dishes were prepared to perfection. Not all our meals are listed in th
Our 2nd visit and food was still great and great service. Would definitely come back
Fantastic meal and ambiance in a tucked away, below street level space. The piano man was excellent and added to the experience. The manager and wait staff were awesome and very accommodating. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, the chicken parmigiana and mushrooms ravioli.
From the moment you walk in the door the service is 10/10. The bartender, the manager, the pianist & singer all phenomenal. Definitely make reservations in advance. Food was great but service was even better. Will be back soon!
I was thrilled to find the this restaurant survived COVID.... I first found this gem more than a decade ago and fell in love with it then. Food is phenomenal, piano player was terrific and Donna behind the bar was attentive. I'm still in LOVE and so is my daughter!
We visited Da Marino during the 2021 holiday season and it was fantastic from start to finish. We had a recommendation from a friend and ended up booking a reservation the same night. We were politely greeted by Tom, the manager, and he checked our vaccine cards and showed us to our table quickly ev
Great piano bar that is centrally located. The manager was friendly and attentive. I was passing by and the music stopped me in my tracks. I stepped in and was pleasantly surprised. I sat at the bar to have a drink and enjoy the scene. The piano player even made his way to the bar to say hello to
Very lively Italian place. Food is americanized, pasta is a but overcooked, but it is nice atmosphere and especially loved live piano music. Highly recommend beef carpaccio. It was very nice. Lobster ravioli was nice too. Carbonara was just OK. Tiramisu was moist and was gone in two seconds. Def goo
Food and atmosphere very good. Prices around 20~40 for main menu.
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in the city! Tom is the GM and he’s a great guy….make sure all customers are taken care of. Brittany (from my home state of Louisiana) was our waitress and does a fabulous job of explaining the menu and suggesting dishes and is personable and fun. The food…..W
