Great place to eat if your in NYC!! being from philly knowing we have allot of great food have to put this place in the top 3 pizzas I've ever eaten great service and food!!
Excellent pizza and a cool place. My wife got the gluten free crust pizza and it was really good! There was a steady stream of cops coming in to eat while we were there so that says something about the quality of the food. They live in NYC and if the cops like it, then it's gotta be pretty awesome.
Grandfather pizza is the Best ever!!!! We have eaten pizza around the world and this is in the top 2!

Love the pizza. They are clean and the staff is friendly and courteous. They work like they care about what they are doing unlike other pizza places where itās a assembly line where one person(which is usually the Manager or owner) dictating and micromanaging everybody move. They donāt do that here. They offer employee discounts(10 percent) saves money. Pizza tastes delicious and itās a decent price. Would go there again.
In a city that never sleeps it was impossible to find a traditional pizza place open after 11 in doiwntown Manhattan. Thank God for Uncle Paul's! Delicious traditional NY style pizza. Thanks for the hospitality and great weaitstaff..delicious pizza.

The best Pizza ever...I loved it..
Someone told me to go when I went to NY..
I wished Dallas Texas had a place like this...
Delicious pizza! We had the goat cheese one. My sweetheart had calamari which he said was a little chewy. I said duh, itās octo legs. Itās chewy which is why I donāt eat it. Not the restaurants fault but google map sent us in circles. Worth finding though-just use a real map.
Love EVERYTHING about this place!! Food, service, location, price. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!!
Best pizza and great service!!! And donāt skip the gelato!!
Great Caprese pizza with mushrooms. The staff is very friendly. Even neighborhood police officers talked to us like we were family. Good atmosphere. All 4 of us agreed it was excellent!

The Pizza was absolutely amazing. A true work of art in not just appearance but taste, The crust was a light perfect crisp. Though it isnt a big restaurant the atmosphere was very delightful
Delicious pizza and a great atmosphere. Only a few blocks from our hotel and it was some of the best pizza we had in NYC!
This place is an oasis. The pizza is out of this world.
Donāt miss it when in New York
Excelente!! Love the pizza, the place and the staff!! Love it!
Spent about 30 mins trying to decide on a god Italian restaurant in midtown, the one came up 21 out of 350 and was literally next door to our hotel. Still kept looking and as it was getting late we opted to go with it. So glad we did. Was a spectacular meal with massive portions which tasted divine. The squid was so crispy and the pizza spectacular. Don't overlook this wee gem near the Roosevelt hotel. Small but queued out the door. Always a good sign.
25.06.2018 Walking the streets at night can make you hungry. We had asked the guy at our hotels front desk (Jonathan) for a Good Pizza and he recommended Uncle Paul's. So off we went trying to find this place a few blocks from our hotel.
Its a small joint off one of the main roads. Even though it was almost midnight it was busy and people kept coming in for Pizza. I had the Chicken and Bacon one with Chipotle Mayo, and my friend had the Grandma Pizza. Both were delicious - the base was thin and crispy and the flavour was yum. I only had one slice but it was more than enough.
Service was very quick and friendly.

This restaurant was great! It was a small little restaurant tucked away in the middle of a city block. Inside, it felt like I was in a small Italian eatery in Florence. The staff were very attentive to my needs, stopping by several times to check in on how we felt about our food and to refill my wine glass. Ambiance aside, the food was fantastic. I ordered the chicken alfredo; the sauce was creamy and thick, and the chicken was cooked well and tasted great. I went with a friend who ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and he said that his meal was one of the best he had tasted in all of New York City. However, at $15 for a plate of chicken alfredo, I expected a much more generous portion for the price. That aside, this was a great place to eat and I will definitely be going back.
The pizza was delicious as well as the pasta. It was easy to walk to from our hotel and seemed like a place locals love. We also tried the gelato and that was really good as well.
Fantastic food, pizza and pasta were great. Good service and decent price for midtown. Especially considering how good the food was! Makes me wish I still lived in NYC.
Waitress from Monte Negro was very attentive and polite. Pizza was amazing and pasta gets a 7 out of 10. Pleasant atmosphere. Haven't got the check yet so I am not sure about price.
Easily the best Pizza in Midtown East. Fast, fresh and delicious. Also they have a few tables where you can have a few glasses of wine, simple, but perfect if that's what you're after.
Very good! Never expected it to be this good!
Excellent pizza. Friendly folks. Bathroom needs cleaning
Fantastic service and food. Pasta and pizza were both flavoursome and generous portions. Service was outstanding and the serving staff suggested both the meals we had. Nothing to complain about here. Some other restaurants I visited on my travels should take a leaf out of this places book when it comes to service. I dislike the expectation of maximum tips for poor service. However, I understand tipping is part and parcel of dining here. The government should raise the legislative wages in these service industry jobs and make business pay for their staff not the consumer. The prices aren't cheaper than any where else in the world!!
Great food, average service, and atmosphere a little strange.
Amazing pizza! Tried both the white and the Sicilian and both were out of this world!
YUM. Uncle Paul's is delicious!
And the family loving vibe you get from them gives you a warm homely feeling, definitely worth going to
Really good minnestrone soup, house red and pizza margarita. Good prices and friendly staff too.
The BEST Pizza in the CIty!!. Uncle Paul's Pizza is fantastic! Each slice has a great and rich taste to it. This pizza shop is not just your average pizzeria because not only do they make the best-tasting pizza that I've ever had, they offer special toppings such as caviar or duck confit. I also noticed that they make wraps from scratch. I didn't get to taste it, but the display of it looked AMAZING. I will definitely come back to eat there again.
Best Pizza in the Area. Walking into Uncle Paul's was a GREAT CHOICE. Beautiful place with great food and a lovely staff. I even ordered another meal to take home. I ordered the grandma slice which I found to be incredible along with their homemade yogurt. I throughly enjoyed my meal. I definitely passed the word along to my friends and family Uncle Pauls is a MUST GO!! Their menu is quite extensive offering old fashioned pitas, paninis, wraps, and even rice balls.
Great place for a slice of NY Style Pizza, walking distance from Grand Central Station. They also have bottled beer and wine by the glass and the employees were a lot of fun! I had the meatball pizza and my hubby had pepperoni, both were great!
We tried many different places around town for the best pizza š. This place had the best tasting pizza. The customer service was excellent. The staff members are excellent and the ambiance had this classic Italian feel to it. Hands down 5 stars. Not greasy and full of flavor. We bought a slice of pepperoni and came back for a while cheese to go. Yummy yummy in our tummy š¤¤š
Great little pizza š place right by Grand Central Station. Popped in for a couple of slices before heading to the airport and was absolutely floored by how good this pizza was! The crust was amazing! This is now my go to whenever I'm mid town.
Pizza was delicious!! First slice of NYC pizza, and it was good. Price was reasonable and the service and atmosphere were great too! Definitely need to try it.
UPDATE: After tasting many slices in NYC, I must say this is the best by far!!!
Phenomenal pizza!! Service was great too, had a fantastic waiter. Staff and food were great, never in any rush, overall fantastic experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting or living in NYC!
Right outside of Grand Central Station across from Met Life Building. Small Pizzeria with outside seating. Had a sausage slice & a sausage & pepperoni slice. Both were really good. Crust was burnt which I like. They have bottle beers & can beers & wine. Sign says $5 drafts, but there draft taps had no heads on them so I didnāt ask. Staff was friendly. Better option for pizza rather then inside Grand Central. Sausage slice & 1 Peroni beer was $11. They also make pasta dishes, heroās, Pannis, Salads, Rolls & Stromboliās, Chicken dinners & a few appetizers.
There are not many good options for NY cheese slice close to the NY attractions for the tourists. Uncle Paulās is located in the right place. Pizza at Uncle Paulās is just the way I imagined NY pizza to be. It was the best. The employees are really friendly. It is one of the reasonably priced pizza joints that is ideal to grab a quick pizza before or after a visit to the summit - Vanderbilt
Great staff, great pizza, great wine, all smiles. Go there now..

Delicious typical NYC pizza slice with a lot of seatings - comfortable and delicious, it was perfect for our lunch stop with 2 babies !
A cozy pizza place in midtown NYC. The staff is friendly and the pizza is great. I had a slice of margarita and it was delicious.
Pizza tastes good. 2nd time ordering here. They have happy hour from 3-7pm for $5 draft beer.
They need to have a tie for the pizza boxes for orders 2 or more coz I ended up carrying 3 boxes by my self. They just give it to you not concerned about how are you gonna carry it.
Iād be snobby enough to say Iām a pizza vet growing up around these parts and I was surprised I never tried this spot being as Iām always in and out of GCC. Very solid. Marg on point. I live abroad where NYC pizza is nonexistent and I grabbed this fresh off the taxi from the airport before MetroNorth to CT. Good call!
Stopped in for a slice of pizza on a Wednesday evening in mid May. Very tasty slice. Cost a bit over $4 for this slice of cheese pizza. Wasnāt too busy inside on my visit so was served quickly. Staff was friendly enough. Convenient location near Grand Central. I would happily revisit this place to try their pizza again.
I wanted to write this review to let any future guest at this establishment know that this was indeed one of the best pizzas Iāve ever had and over all one of the best services I received in my visit to New York. Me and my family were looking for some dinner when we found this place and I honestly wish we had something like this place near where we live. Especially because of our waiter Zelka, she was very attentive, sweet and funny, she made our night even better. I 100% recommend this place and canāt wait to go back some day.
The Sicilian slice isn't quite fat enough for my liking BUT the sauce is just... *moans*. Lasagna slice was hefty but not overloaded. Wife is gluten free and says this is one of the best GF pies she's had - I have to say it was pretty good.
Prices are fair and the folks are nice. Would recommend.
Absolutely ace pizza, we had a variety and great quality all around. Would recommend, around $5 a slice.
