Balthazar - New York City - Photo album

I liked Baltazar. The food very good. All we had tasted amazing. Service was good although it felt like there were rushing us out of the table for the next customer. Also, waiter wasn’t that gentle. That everything ended up working fine. Atmosphere is the highlight of the place. Decoration is pretty
My friend and I celebrated my birthday here. The our server and the restaurant staff were extremely accommodating and came up to us serval times to check in on us! The atmosphere is lighthearted and fun, yet exudes fine dining. The food was extraordinary!!! Everything from the in house bread to the
For a long standing establishment of NYC the food is of decent quality, however nothing is truly outstanding either. Thought there are still notes to be left, avoid the steaks at all costs, the duck confit was decent and so was the corn ravioli. The service as expected was exceptional.
This Resturant is aesthetically beautiful. Balthazar is extremely sought after and always busy . Was absolutely packed on a rainy Sunday night . Was a very warm welcome, the poor waiters are so busy they really have a hard time to check on your frequently. So I will not hold that against them for b
Visited in Aug 2023 This iconic French brasserie was on my list of must visit places for my trip to NYC, and it didn’t disappoint. While the steak frites is the most popular dish here, we went with some other choices (duck confit, halibut, burger) and each of them were quite fantastic. Desserts wer
Balthazar !!! This wonderful location in the heart of Soho. The service is average, the dish are little above average. I love your burger here. The patty are delicious, but the huge onion rings are very greasy :( .. it's a classic you should give it a chance.
Went there for Christmas Eve. The atmosphere is awesome, the servers are super kind and on top of it. The food was good, yet not at the level I expected, could definitely be a lot better.
Decent French restaurant with a reputation for great food. The menu was traditional with a great selection. The only downside is that the portions are on the smaller side. We had duck which I would highly recommend. The interior is very nice and they also have great outdoor seating. I would advise b
This is one of my favorite places to go while in Manhattan. Consistently good with wonderful service. The atmosphere is like sitting in a great brasserie in Paris while eating moules and frites. The profiterole’s for dessert are perfect. Make reservations in advance as they are necessary.
Make sure to make a reservation. It is a tourist trap but surprisingly a great place for brunch. Sit indoors if you can. I came in w preconceived notions that this place would be a typical tourtisy place w so so ok menu and food, but it turns out the food, menu and service was amazing! Our waiter wa
Had lunch here, and while the food was OK it wasn’t stand out. The salad presentation was lazy, and overall was just OK it used to be better. Service was good. This place used to be standout but has definitely slipped.
Amazing place for dinner with friends over the holidays. Recommend getting the steak (the mushroom ravioli and porcini risotto might be better for lunch). The Balthazar drink is amazing.
Not much else can be said about the iconic Balthazar. We are lucky to get a table without a reservation since it is summer and most New Yorkers are away. Must try Tuna Crudo. It’s to die for. Escargot is on point. Steak Frites and Roasted chicken are delicious and full of flavor. Fries are crunchy a
Definitely recommend coming here. Have gone for brunch, lunch and dinner. The service is exceptional! They are extremely attentive and always ready to fix a wobbly table. The food is great and I highly recommend ordering the seafood tower, mussels, steak, omelette, escargot, steak tartar, salmon and
A hot spot French restaurant surprisingly famous with their burger located in demand neighborhood. The burger was pretty amazing since meat was thick, but the cheese didn’t have much taste. On the other hand onion rings were extremely greasy that hurt my stomach afterwards. I recommend to visit and a
Iconic French restaurant in Soho Great bar, French fries, escargot, burgers and salads. Famous for their seafood towers. The ambiance is one of the best in the city!
I loved every second of Balthazar! It absolutely lived up to the hype. This Parisian restaurant is busy and always has a buzz! Make an online res or drop in and try to get one as soon as you can because it fills up. It’s a “hotspot” and deservedly so. Had a great brunch and can’t wait to go back. Ea
It is a place where commercially has done everything right-well so I can tell why they are highly rated in reviews and a popular eating place in Soho area. How should I put the review?! The experience is like wearing COS basics with the latest Polo Piaget watch. Service is a top notch. If I would co
