Ok so I will start with Yes the Bagels are good, but they are good like any other decent bagel shop in town. They do have a vast collection of spreads, meats, bagels kind. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice. The place is pick-up place, expect huge line-ups as the owners have outdone marketin
I tried three bagel shops in NYC so far. We ordered a signature, and it was not my favourite, unfortunately. Everything bagel's bottom was either overcooked or over-toasted: it was hard. Not chewy. HARD. I eventually decided not to eat the bottom half. Salmon had a good smoked flavour, cream cheese
This was the first bagel place we tried whilst staying in NYC, and after trying a few others I definitely think this was the best!
Very generous with the fillings.
Hot tip to AVOID THE LONG QUEUE - you can order online and select a pick up time! So glad we did this, as we got there the line was out
Do yourself a favor and order ahead! Why wait in line? I placed an order from the tol of the Empire State Building, and we were eating hot fresh bagels in 10 minutes. Love!
The bagels were very good. I had the NYC BLTA and it was very tasty but a bit dry. The others had the Mr. NovaLova which was very good. The salmon tasted good and it was overall a great mix of everything. The prices were pretty high though (mine $13 and the other $17). But since the taste was so goo
My two favorite bagels; morning special (egg, chedar and bacon) and nova (salmon, cream cheese and capers). I always choose everything bagel, because it tastes like garlic and crispy. I had both toasted done. It was quite delicious... but the bagel dough was like soft dough. I've had better ones, bu
The bagel shop, unfortunately, the staff seemed inexperienced but we got our order sorted so was happy. We queued here for over an hour as the shop is famous in some films. I would say you would get a good bagel in other places. It was good but probably could get a good bagel with out all the waitin
We decided to try out this bagel specialty store nearby Empire State Building and I would say it’s definitely a great design idea to have all these options for bagel. Love that they let you choose everything, from the bagel type, to cream cheese filling and toppings. Two things I do not like as much
Arrived mid-morning to a line that reached to the corner of the block. The wait took an hour, it looks mostly due to the high volume of online orders on a Saturday. You have plenty of time to look at the menu. There are some indoor seating, if the weather is nice, walk around the corner to Greenacre
Honestly, that was en epic bagel! egg and avocado combo never disappoints!
The line was huge but it went really quickly. 10/10, recommend!
Pink bagel to support cancer awareness!! Bagels are delicious .. arrived 9:30am Saturday morning.. line was to the corner.. we left with our bagels at 10:13.. about 45 mins total
Came here to try the infamous NYC bagels and it was delicious. I was surprised that The Loxe was not an option on the menu so I settled for the Signature Favorite (smoked salmon, tomato, lettuce, scallion cream cheese).
The bagel was very thick and filling. 2 people can easily share 1. It was delic
Came by at 9:30am. Must be bagel rush hour. I know this is "the" bagel place but didn't expect the line to be this long. There was a line outside and another line inside. Everyone's waiting patiently. So after waiting outside for 15 mins and another 20 mins inside, I finally got to order. And let me
Very popular Midtown East location. The line seems to get longer in midday instead of in the morning. There is the option to order online and pickup to avoid the line. There are unique shmears, but I stayed with the scallion cream cheese and nova salmon. Very good, dense and chewy bagel, though I pr
As a bunch of hungry and tired travelers, Ess -a- Bagel brought us back to life. We had the western and signature on poppy seed bagel, amazing cream cheese options, and refreshing iced coffee, brought us back to life after a long fight. I'm not going anywhere, just yet New York, I'm getting another
My first time visiting N.Y. was lucky enough to wait for one hour only, can honestly say, was worth every minute, the bagel by itself is very tasty, they have a humongous variety "I took some photos here", and the whole meal was fulfilling and delicious, Highly recommended whenever you visit New Yor
We took an uber here and the uber driver said it was the best bagel place in the city. I will say I'm not a big bagel kinda girl. But these bagels were delicious. I ordered a cheese, bacon and egg plain bagel and it was delish. It was toasted to perfection and the service was super quick considering
