We ordered the course menu for 4 people and the food was nice. The amount of food was a bit too much, and chicken is not a really traditional type of chicken in korean style. But overall foods were nice, quite fancy. I think it's also good to order a la carte menu as well. I love the moods, and want to visit again!

Really great Korean restaurant! We loved every dish that we tried, from the dumplings to the tofu and the bibimbap. Everything was flavorful and fresh. We sat at the bar and the bartender was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

Loved it at Danji! Its an intimate restaurant but they have great dishes. My family and I tried the tasting menu, which included all their popular dishes plus dessert. Flavor packed and genuinely delicious. Would absolutely go back! See my food instagram @sipsandsizzles for more!

Sooooo soooo sooo good!!! Danji is AMAZING. The food is so filling and each plate is perfect to share between two people. The staff is so nice and attentive, really amazing people. One of the best Korean food in nyc and I mean it!! Second time here and my family and I love it. The best is the cod and the spicy chicken wings, and the shrimp scallion pancake, and the bulgogi sliders. There is not one thing we did not like.

WOW - not blown away by Korean food often but this place is IT! Came here for a lovely New Year’s Eve dinner, got the special sampler menu for group of 4 includes 9 courses (banchan included). Loved everything, will preface and say I’m not a seafood person but still loved the sashimi salad and cod. Tofu was so soft it was almost mochi like but softer. Pajeon was so crispy and yummy almost ordered a second one just for me! Bulgogi sliders very good but kind of heavy and very fatty cut of meat. The slider buns was so soft and buttery. I’m very hard to please when it comes to bulgogi bibimbap, but this was as authentic and fresh as it gets. Love the mushrooms they use too. Black sesame ice cream was a generous sized scoop, great way to end the meal. Bar is very cute. Some tables are communal and this place is on the smaller side but food and service made up for it. If you’re a germaphobe or particularly concerned about COVID, you may want to request the outdoor dining tables, seems like individual booths or rooms

Service was great, their food was delicious. If you order one dish as your meal, I doubt you'll be full unless you get an appetizer. My group of 3 ordered a bunch to share (we did 5 dishes to share but only needed 4 in the end). Highly recommend the soy poached black cod and the braised short ribs. They both come with a bowl of rice. We also ordered the makgeoli beer. It came in a cup and was a very generous cup. It's just a little smaller than a standard Ikea glass cup We say outside and they had AC there as well. We made a reservation through the seated app but it didn't seem full when we got there at 6pm. However it did seem to fill up after 30-40 min.

The food here is phenomenal! It's well crafted, designed and most importantly, Delicious. The interior is clean, modern and the atmosphere is relaxing. You can make reservations to guarantee a seat and they got enough room inside or outside the restaurant.

Extremely delicious food - perfect for a nice dinner before a show or generally enjoyable experience. We had a bottle of wine with 4 sharable plates - Stand outs were the yellow tail shashimi and bossam. All ingredients were beyond fresh, I would have believed them if they said the garden was in the back. Fantastic staff, shout out to our server Nicole G who was super nice, informative, and extremely attentive! Overall a chill vibe, love the music and aesthetic great pairing while enjoying the food. Definitely coming back!

A great experience. The place has an outside sitting. The ambiance is nice. A busy place and they take reservations so I suggest doing so. Their staff are friendly. Their foods taste really good. A must try if you a near the time square NY.

Delicious food and decent price for the neighborhood. May not be your traditional old Korean cuisine, but I liked the modern vibe and slight twists. The bibimbaps and fried rice were really good. The portions seems small at first sight, but ends up becoming quite filling with plenty of flavors and texture. The space is a bit tight and quite crowded though, so don't expect perfectly attentive service or having room to move around.

Came here for restaurant week. Had the vegetable dumplings, spicy 'KFC' chicken wings, and two bibimbap skillets, one vegetable, and one spicy pork. The vegetable dumplings were piping hot, and the spicy wings were pretty delicious. The skillets were the star of the meal, but were a little inconsistent. Some of the rice was burnt in one skillet, whereas the other skillet had very little crispy rice. Still, both skillets tasted delicious with the gochujang provided. We were provided with complimentary ice cream after the meal - one flavor was toasted rice, the other was black sesame. Both were very enjoyable, and the toasted rice flavor had hints of caramel. Service was polite and attentive. Bathroom was clean.

Came here with my boyfriend for dinner on a weekend. We got the dumplings, chicken wings, and cod. The food was solid but not mindblowing. I thought the flavors were good for the wings but a little over seasoned. The dumplings were good but def needed the soy sauce to add extra flavor. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, would definitely be open to trying it again!

Quaint ambiance, amazing food and detail oriented service. Every customer was having wow moments. I highly recommend it! Make a reservation because there is a line out the door, for a good reason. NYC FOODIES!

This is more American Korean food not authenticated Korean food. Some people like it sone may not enjoy this kind of modification. Personally, if I want to go eat Korean food I like more authenticated traditional one. The taste is above average. The service is pretty good and friendly. The restaurant is clean.

I used to go to Korean town when living in the east side of Manhattan so I’m very happy to find Danji on the west side of Manhattan which serves authentic and delicious Korean food at reasonable prices. The chicken wings are crispy and crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. Service was good as well. It’s very popular so I highly recommend you make a reservation.

Absolutely incredible! I've eaten at nearly every notable Korean restaurant in the SF Bay area, Danji puts them all to shame! Good portion sizes and all the food is so addicting to eat I couldn't stop inhaling it. My GF and I had a hard time walking back to the hotel afterwards. I haven't been this full in a long time, but I couldn't help myself. Don't skip the yellowtail sashimi, that was my favorite!

Such a cute place with an awesome staff and fantastic service. The food and drinks are also really good. It's reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the shrimp & scallion pancake and the bibimbap (you really can't go wrong with this) - we got the bulgogi one and it was great.
