2023: First off EXCELLENT! I thought I had posted, but apparently it didn't take. Our first meal was a walk-in lunch. We were so impressed and overwhelmed by the food, the service and the ambience that we spoke to the hostess to see if we could reserve a table for dinner. Unfortunately we couldn't,
Food was very good, service was better We had the most lovely waiter who made sure to give us honest suggestions on our order so that we had a great variety. The food was all fantastic - our main note was that all the protein was plated under a cream or sauce or toppings, and each plate we said “wai
After tasting several dishes, all of them surprised me. They were not of my personal preference, but clearly were well designed and executed. The wine list is impressive. Great service. The restaurant is small and gets crowded, reservation is not mandatory but highly recommended. Prices are expen
Stumbled on Estele while browsing 2022 World’s best 100 restaurants and the Michelin guide. Definitely worth it and didn’t disappoint. Vibe is casual, relaxed and hip with a small bistro feeling. Place is small and buzzing. Cuisine is new American with European influences I will say. I tried few dis
We had Celestial spirits, Guava daiquiri, scallops with brown butter and golden potatoes, curd tuna with black pilpil and toast, endive with walnuts anchovy’s and ubriaco rosso , and ricotta dumplings w mushroom and pecorino sardo. It was delicious, four dishes was plenty of food for the two of us
Estela’s dishes are shared plates. They really need to be shared. While delicious, each dish is so homogeneous, the exact same bite from start to finish, that eating a single plate by yourself will become boring halfway through. Even if you like dining alone, I heavily recommend bringing a few folks
Absolutely incredible meal. Don’t hesitate to make a reservation. Every single dish was delicious and showcased the high-quality ingredients without strong sauces or complicated flavors. The ambiance itself is lacking. While the space is beautiful, seating is crowded, even for NYC standards. The re
In terms of food, Estela is one of the greatest. It delivers creative, well-conceptualized, and aptly balanced dishes. Its service is attentive and efficient, though not the friendliest. Overall, after finishing the entrées, I wanted to try their desserts, and after the whole meal, I wanted to come
Just the best! Truly one of my top favorites in NYC. Never disappoints year after year. Perfectly curated menu where absolutely everything looks good. Hard to make a decision! Most recently came for my wedding anniversary. Special spot for things like that without feeling overly pretentious. We also
I've been in town vacationing with a friend. She mentioned this Michelin Star Rated Restaurant. I like that their website kicks off talking a out their chef. I started off in a bad mood for no fault of the restaurant. My driver dropped me off at the wrong address! There is no reason for a Cab / Ub
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Soho. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Great night date, romantic and incredible decor. The food is absolutely amazing everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal. Highly recommend
The best of the best. My parents found Estela pre-Michelin star and we go every time we’re in NYC. The endive, blue cheese, walnut salad is something I think about for days after and the dark chocolate cake is the best I’ve ever had. They have an amazing wine list with lots of natural and funky choi
I walked in on Friday night and got the last seat at the bar. Estella was great, all winners the whole meal 😋 Also wonderful wines, especially the Carmel valley Chenin Blanc. Tatar with elderberries, fried Jerusalem artichokes, and mini capers I think? The meat was fantastic.. I didn't leave any
Fabulous lunch complete with the right wine. Unpretentious and casual service but all aspects of food and wine quality are dialed. This is definitely my kind of spot to hit again and again. Plus that endive salad is the truth.
Came here for lunch at 2:30pm on a Saturday and there were some open tables for walk ins. I liked the atmosphere of the place and the food was amazing!! I highly recommend the dumplings. I would go back just for them. So worth it! Also, the portions are pretty big. They say two plates per person, bu
Fantastic meal and super attentive service. One of the better fancy dinners (we seek out Michelin starred places anywhere in the world so we’ve been to a few!). Every dish was special and not obvious or what we would have expected—so unique. Slightly noisy but worth it.
Damn. So good. Food, service, vibe. Can’t wait to come back. I would just pass on the dark rice. Didn’t like the taste. The dumplings and the endive salad were amazing.
Pricey but very nice fine dining experience. The duck was cooked to perfection. Tiramisu was incredible.
Enjoyed their creativity! Tried fried arroz negro. I liked its textures, little salty for me though. All the dishes was new experience!
