Reviews Very Fresh Noodles

Everything I’ve ordered has hit all the right notes but my most recent visit revealed my must try dish. The hand pulled noodles are the primary draw of the shop and their taste stands up to the excellent show of talent from the noodle makers. Even then my must order dish is the chicken wings. THESE ARE THE MOST FLAVORFUL WINGS I’VE EVER HAD. There were so many layers of flavor combined with the ideal crunchy exterior and juicy interior. I instinctively took my time to savor each bite of the chicken and crispy toppings. It’s no exaggeration when I say, I daydream about going back and getting another order.

It was good. Left a weird taste in mouth that changed the taste of water 🤔. Tingly and spicy cumin lamb - maybe that was the tingly? Anyway, good food, packed, and worth checking out. Authentic home Made noodles and the meat was good too.

Very Fresh Noodles serves up some of the best noodle soups in the city. I got the tingly & spicy cumin lamb and the chicken wings. Both were impeccable. Just bear in mind that the lines are typically long. And being in Chelsea Market, seating is limited.

Inside Chelsea Market. You'd know where it is, just follow the queue 😂 we were pretty surprised when we saw that people were willing to wait 40min to an hour for this so we tried it. We got the Cumin Noodles and the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Both were really good however a little bit spicy even if you choose mild so just be aware of that if you can eat spicy food. The cucumber crushed works really well as a side dish to the salty flavors of the noodles so I would get that. Price is typical for a noodle/soup resto similar to ramens and the servings are good , check the photos. If you like these types of meals, I would say go for it!

Spicy flavorful noodle place at Chelsea. You can actually see them making noodles, honoring the name “very fresh”! I tried the spicy vegan noodles with mock duck and my friend tries the cumin style noodle with lamb. Both dishes deserve 5 stars. I really like the bunch of veggies on top. Broth was spicy enough to handle with lots of flavor. The process is basically you order the dish, they give you a number, then pick it up to dine in or take out.

noodles here are amazing! they are actually “very fresh” as they are hand making them right in front of you. the lamb noodles dry was amazing and definitely tingly as the name suggests. beef noodle soup was also delicious. love the texture of these noodles. lychee margarita was also amazing!!! be prepared to wait in line but it’s worth it!

It has probably been a year or two since I last visited this place and it's still very decent and a good experience for someone who's looking for some above-average quality Asian fare. I have fond memories of my first time eating here and ordering the beef noodle soup; amazing comfort food, great tasting, and a nice warmth in the belly afterwards. Generous portion of noodles, vegetables and meat, from what I recall. So good that I made a last-minute decision to grab some to go before taking the bus back to DC. This time, sadly, I felt everything was smaller, except the price. Maybe this colored my reason for also feeling that this was not the same great dish I had in the past due to the loss of value. The place looked nicer, renovated, with nicer equipment; but having grown up in the restaurant business, I'm well aware that such improvements in the kitchen can actually fundamentally impact the flavors of food -- for better or for worse. Given that I live in MoCo, Maryland with its great assortment of Asian dishes (including noodles), sadly, I don't find it compelling to visit as an out-of-town guest. But it's a great place for locals and I wish the place well! Last, I don't say this to sound cynical, but I do appreciate the "No Tip" selectable option. Post-pandemic, and with wages where they are nowadays, I no longer tip for to-go orders for baseline service of just taking the order and preparing the dish (but always tip the waiter/waitress for dine-in).

This was maybe the best beef noodle soup I've ever had in my life. I'm not very spice tolerant so was sad to discover most things are likely too spicy for me (but as it should- I understand it's gotta be), so i ordered the mild beef noodle soup. And yall I kid you not the flavour is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I have to admit that when it came out and I saw the layer of red chili oil I was scared that it would be too hot but it wasn't! The broth packed a punch of flavour. And they did not lie about their noodles being very fresh because it is!! If I had to nitpick it would be that the beef was a little on the chewy side. But overall I was very happy!! Highly recommend. I will dream about this noodle.

Ordered the Spicy La Mei Beef Taiwanese Bowl and was absolutely amazed! The flavor of meat & broth was worth the wait, and every penny, my only regret was not tipping more when I could've (you pay up front before getting the food), and I didn't carry cash sadly. 11/10 would destroy 3 bowls next time I'm here

Noodles were great. Freshly made, you can see the chef spreading it, cutting it, and then cooking it. Everything was made fresh, and the flavour was great. Would come back. I saw the people next to us order the wings, they look crazy good. Plan on coming back to try more. I can see why this place has a crazy line up at lunch time. They care. In the photo, we ordered the Tingy & Spicy Cumin Beef (DRY).

I opted for the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, I can say it was quite good, flavorful and quite spicy. He is a person who makes noodles on every plate. I recommend, it can be a good dining experience in New York.

I could eat this every day. Delicious cumin broth, springy bouncy pulled fresh noodles. The staff were friendly as well. Not a lot of indoor seating, but there is outdoor heated seating which worked great.

Nice food and quick for getting food, they are popular and always need to queue for a bit but not too long. One of the chefs is very nice, he help with moving the food to my seat even though it is supposed to be self service, and he even gave us a free taro bubble tea. Highly recommended!

Ordered the lamb dry noodles. Tasted amazing-the noodles were a perfect chewiness and the fry sauce was perfect-not too spicy but filled with flavour. They added a lot of meat and you got to see them making your noodles fresh. Also got the lychee drink was alright. There’s not any seating except for single bar seats so keep that in mind.

Seriously the best wings. Sorry, not wings, but waaangs. We ate here twice during our NYC trip- just for these wings. We also tried the beef noodle soup, which was great. But the wings- you’ll crave them. They’re meaty, tasty, crunchy, hot. They even tasted good a couple hours later in Central Park for a picnic. Pick up some wings and grab a laminated baguette from Alf’s bakery and you’re good to go.

Probably a special experience for those who appreciate spicy food. very intense taste, as the name suggests, the noodles are fresh and the herbs in the food are great. If you're around New York, it's worth a try.
