Great place to view the city at night and see the sunset. I had no issues getting in and felt the staff was great! Enter from the side and not through the hotel. There is typically a short line outside that moves rather fast. Place is not open too late so don’t plan on parting till midnight! Manhatt
I think it’s the best roof top we had in Manhattan (and we had a lot). The place has a very special cocktails, the food is very good although we came right before they closed the kitchen. The place decorates with style and uniqueness. The service is good. They have a dress code so don’t mess up. And
Pretty intimidating place, but worth the view and the drinks! We were told the dress code is "sheik, no jeans". We were traveling for a short time so we only had jeans. We rolled the dice and it worked out fine. The drinks were very expensive, between $20 and $30 each, but this is a very exclusive e
Came here with my girlfriend for a drink/dessert. What an incredible view of the skyline. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and ambiance in the room was amazing. Definitely a great spot to grab a drink and hang out. The views alone are worth it.
For the view alone the 5 stars are worth it. Having read some comments I would tend to agree that the staff are obnoxious to an extent but the high end clientele that frequent this pace will feel right at home. Book a table and simply enjoy the views whilst sipping free poured drinks. Chin chin, wh
I was there for my bday celebration on Sunday. I made a reservation as advised so entry was easy. It wasn't crowded maybe because Sunday. I loved the interior and the view. Easily my favorite. I liked my cocktail and golden Chocolat bar too. It was sweet they cared to put a little can candle for m
Gorgeous views of the New Jersey skyline. I came on a winter weeknight evening just after sunset and it wasn't so packed. It was nice to sit in the covered area where the roof is and have a drink. Warm and cozy!
Attended a private event here and had a spectacular time. Bartenders are lively and engaging, and the venue itself is truly breathtaking. There's even a somewhat secret rooftop with amazing panoramic views of the entire city.
Very cool bar on the 18th floor of the Standard. Not really any signs to it so just go into the hotel, find the lifts and go to 18. Great atmosphere (quite loud just FYI) and friendly staff. Interesting cocktail menu with most cocktails around the $18 mark. Surprised how busy it was on a Tuesday nig
Love it, my favorite bar in New York. Great for a quiet round of drinks with friends, for a date night or celebration. Consistently good, my go-to place when all else fails. Amazing views, great service and jazz. What else do you need?
Very nice view. Food at night was ok.. nothing special at all. Good service. Even tough furnish is old style, I think a little could be renewed..
Fantastic atmosphere and wonderful staff... Food and drinks are pricey but good. Great place to go for a date or just a night out on the town
I always go there and enjoy the spectacular view of the New York City from the top of The Standard. Their service is amazing and their gold bar is so delicious. You would always love to go there.
Great place to get some drinks and enjoy good music and views. A bit expensive.
A great bar with an exceptional view of New York. Worth visiting as the sun sets!
