What a cute little gem. Visited with a party of 6 and was able to secure a table no problem. The waiter and restaurant staff were all very friendly and welcoming! Food was very well portioned and the priced reasonably (~$15 per pasta). Everything was delicious and we cleaned off the plates! Would definitely be back to visit when we're in town again
Classic NYC red sauce Italian restaurant. This place is what you expect it to be—hearty and homey. Spaghetto isn’t high-end and they don’t pretend to be, and they’re not charging you Greenwich village prices for any of their dishes (a few struck me to be on the cheaper side, actually). Service was attentive and warm, and though the food came out of the kitchen fairly quickly (about 12-15 minutes on a Sunday night) it did not taste rushed in the slightest. The calamari had a bit of snap to it and the marinara sauce was slightly on the spicy side and not too tangy. The tortellini was ok, but the meat sauce had a nutty flavor and was crumbly, which we enjoyed. One little quibble-turned-joy: Spaghetto doesn’t slice the garlic thinly, and instead there’s little hunks of unevenly cut garlic hiding in the marinara. I pointed this out to my SO in surprise, but we ended up fishing out the garlic as a fun way to enjoy the last morsels of the delicious sauce. We highly recommend this place if you’re into old-timey NYC Italian restaurants (if you’re not, get your head checked).
Tuesday @ 7p full but not crowded. Not fancy but solid interior, looks like an Italian restaurant. Prompt, helpful service. Got the vegetable antipasto which was varied and yummy. Chicken Parmesan came with a side of spaghetti with meatballs sauce and was delish! Minestrone soup was overcooked -- I like a fresh, bright minestrone. Good nontheless. Went to Rocco for dessert.
Amazing food! I had the Veal Parmigiano, was just stellar! The potatoes included had a strong seasoning while the veal was more lightly seasoned. When combined, it was pure heaven. The meat dishes come with a side of pasta (marinara, meat sauce, or garlic and oil. You chose) The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive also.
The place has very good Italian food. I has the meat lasagna with wine. One of the best I ever had! Has cute little outside seating which you can enjoy when the weather is good.
This place has amazing authentic Italian food! I was blown away at the quality and taste of the food at this place! I can't wait to revisit this place agai!
Cozy little Italian restaurant. The food was portioned well. Free bread for appetizer. Food came out real quick after ordering.
Spotted this place walking down Bleecker Street as we had given up finding a place for lunch. So glad we stopped here, best pasta I've ever had!
This place is great. I visit Manhattan every 6 months, and every time I go I must go here at least once to eat. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The chocolate mousse cake is a must.
The service is also far above average. Everybody that works there is courteous and quick to make sure you have everything to ensure a great experience.
Great Italian food!! My husband and I were happy we finally got in this past Saturday night. The lines usually are very long. We now know why. Chicken was very tender and tasty. The minestrone soup was delicious. Raspberry cheesecake was great. Will go back. Yes it's a very small restaurant so your chair may get bumped. So what!!! Worth going to. Large portions
Great place for a romantic evening. The food is good but the people are what made it memorable for me. I came here with my wife and had really bad migraine. The waiter went the the nearest pharmacy to get me an aspirin. How awesome is that?! Will not be my last time here!
I come here to sate my irresistible hunger for good Italian food. Although it is not the best italian food that I’ve ever had, the restaurant serves its purpose as being almost an Italian version of comfort food.
The ambiance of the restaurant is very vibrant but it does get a little loud during peak times. The food is pretty good for its price and anything on the menu tends to generally be good.
Great food. Great prices. Great location. Great service.
We walked in and got a table for three right away which was so lucky because this place was hopping. The bread, oil, pasta dishes, margherita pizza, Chianti and then some were so delicious. The tiramisu was eaten by us in two seconds. The decor was authentic Italian which made the place super cozy, not to mention the red and white checkered tablecloths. What a great place. Go there 😊
Great food, great location, exemplary service and on top of all else, it was very affordable. I wish there was a little more garlic and possibly more spice, but I'm not really big on Italian food so I tend to over-season. All in all 5 stars, one of the best Italian meals I've had since moving here.
Discovered this place by accident. Tried to eat at the pizza place next door, but the wait was so long, we decided to come here. Glad we did! Food was very good, ambience was good, and the service was great! And prices were reasonable. Worth a trip back.
I've been going to this Italian restaurant for over 15 years. Beautiful location on Bleecker Street across from a little park with a large fountain in the West Village. Food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. They have an outside eating area as well as inside the restaurant. I really enjoy it!
