This has an amazing atmosphere! The restaurant was constructed around a vault! The food was top notch. Complicit the chef. We started out meal with the Trinity Cheese Plate a very nice selects of cheeses, nuts and fruits. I had a Gorgonzola and Ricotta Ravioli in a brown butter hazelnut-sage sauce - amazing. My husband had the Pan seared Brook Trout with chorizo, fingering potatoes, wild mushroom, spinach, Brown butter-lemon-caper sauce - very tender and so much flavor! They were very accommodating when we called for reservations and they were a five minute walk from our hotel!
Amazing place atmosphere was great the drink were awesome and the food was to die for I'm def going back and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone
A FIVE rating for this Double Bank Vault Door Restaurant where we held our 25th Year Anniversary Celebration of B.E. Princess, a private Jet/Corporation Aviation supply company.
The staff led by AMY, General Manager, Bartender JOSE, Servers DENISE, and KAREN, and the rest of the fine, attentive employees in the dining room and the Kitchen Staff were on top of their game with concerns, requests, help and grand service for our private party!!!
Great cocktails, many taps at the long roomy bar, great happy hour tasty apps, and a delish dinner choice of chicken, pork chops, rainbow trout and Filet Mignon!!!
All Awesome in the Vault!!!
Thanks to ALL!!!
Unique and beautiful restaurant in the Wall Street area. The food was sublime. Had the Beef and Guinness Pie was absolutely AMAZING. My sisters had the Chicken Caesar Salad and Lobster Bisque, both were amazing. My mother had the Turkey burger, and she loved it. Service was friendly and quick. The real star is the restaurant itself. An old bank turned into a restaurant. Little touches here and there: old bank books, a scale, a wall with shredded money, the bank vault doors, all amazing. A great place to relax with a good meal, and a romantic meal as well. Will return. Prices are good for NYC.
This fine historic place was not easy to find, but top shelf 👍 - we love ❤️ the atmosphere and the best burger 🍔 in town - hope to come back some other time in NY 🏙
Had dinner with a friend last night. The menu was very nice and the food was delicious. Service was great and I loved the environment. Sitting inside this giant, cool old bank vault was really fun and different. I recommend it highly!
We enjoyed a private dinner at Trinity Place. The staff were welcoming, friendly and gave us advice on our menu options. Our bar drinks were mixed well and accurately (a problem sometimes). The food was savoury, elegant and seasonsed appropriately. Trinity Place is a ‘go to’ restaurant in Manhattan for both visitors and locals. Without reservation I would host a business meeting at Trinity Place.
Went twice to this fantastic pub/restaurant in December and will go again whenever I’m back in NY. Fabulous food washed down with great drinks and service second to none. Add in the unique atmosphere in an old Bank vault and this gaff is certainly worthy of top marks
Great food, fun atmosphere and great service! It is a converted bank vault. It is really a nice little spot below the street. I would come back again when I am in NYC!
Fantastic place close to the 9/11 museum.. Great food in a great location owned by a girl from Coatbridge... if you’re passing .. pop in and enjoy the amazing food.. oh, and Katie loves Jammy Dodgers... thanks again Katie for the warm welcome..xx
Had the Duck Confit with the risotto, it was so good it was almost a religious experience. Interesting cocktails too. The atmosphere was great, a very charming pub and restaurant inside an old bank vault.
Great pate! Charlie, our bartender; is a delight! She happens to make a wonderful Old Fashion!
Very different, well worth a visit, lovely food and fab service. 😁👍🏻
Loved everything about it : ambience , drinks , appetizers , staff and mainly the history .
Will definitely go again
The concept behind the restaurant is very very cool, and walking through the bar area into the back room you really do feel like you’re about to get locked into a vault. There were tons of small details to give the restaurant an original bank feel, including a giant class that had shredded money in it. The ambiance was great, the food was just fine. We ordered the tuna and salmon tartar and hummus to start. Neither were anything original or out of this world. For dinner we got the wagyu burger and the duck risotto. The burger was a regular burger, and we have another place downtown that had a better quality, lower price so I wouldn’t recommend. The duck was quite nice, and the risotto had plenty of mushrooms in it, but the duck portion was a bit small compared to the risotto.
all in all the dinner was fine.
I can highly recommend this place if you want to have dinner in a special location! The food is also really good. The menu is not that big but perfectly fine. Also the dishes are not super big but the taste is outstanding!
The service was perfect! I would recommend a reservation if you want to go there with a bigger group
The food here is absolutely delicious! We were served pretty quickly despite the busy hours. There aren’t way too many options, BUT the options they have are simply amazing. The menu can get pricey per person ($30-$50 depending on whether you buy an appetizer or not). I loved it and will definitely come back!
Wow, this little white-linen-tablecloth restaurant punches well above its weight! The ravioli was surprisingly good (I licked me plate clean with the buttered French bread). And how interesting is the 35-ton bank vault door and original brass chandelier! The prices seemed exceptionally good, considering the location.
Best experience so far in 2023. The chef knows what hes doing. My wife ordered the scallops and were the juiciest we ever had not rubbery perfect sear and flavorful. The duck risotto was perfectly cooked al dente including the drinks, after dinner we went to the bar and had more drinks because we couldn't believe how perfect they were. Thank you trinity place for a wonderful time.
For the price, this is a great place. The decor is gorgeous, and the menu affordable yet high class and well-done: high-quality ingredients cooked well. The only real criticism I have is the fries were mediocre.
After a full weekend of subpar and extremely expensive experiences, we were very prepared, after looking at the prices of this place, for another pretty flat experience. Oh how we were wrong. From the moment we stepped through the unassuming doors, this place had us in awe. With the coziness, uniqueness, and sheer beauty of the space, we were were transported into a fantastic, rustic experience that I will rave about for many years to come. The service was spectacular. After we had just spent over $100 at a restaurant with subpar food and even worse service, we were served with such respect and even better quickness. Even though we were only a table of two, we were served with the same importance and reverence as the massive table of ten sitting behind us. Our wonderful server, Andres, treated us with class and distance while also never letting our wine or water glasses run dry. He even complimented my girlfriend on her pairing of her wine choice with our menu choices. From there, the food was absolutely mind boggling. I had the Duck Risotto and my other half had the tenderloins. For such affordable prices, we were amazed by the quality and attention to detail of the dishes. This was by far the BEST experience I’ve had at a New York restaurant in the little time that I’ve been here. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic restaurant experience, whether a local or a tourist
The overall vibe of the restaurant is nice, with the vault door from when this building was a bank serving as the entrance to the dining area. There's a nice assortment of cocktails with solid food and good dessert. The menu is small but varied, which is a good sign that everything is fresh. The menu also covers multiple dietary options like gluten-free and vegetarian. I hope to come back soon.
I went with my husband for date night. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. The decor is dark and moody, very old school NY. The infamous vault doors are a great touch to the ambience. It wasn't crowded, perfect for a romantic evening. The food is superb; the scallops were by far the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the duck, he loves it. Our cocktails were delightful; we had the sunrise and the sunset.
Absolutely delicious and very unique! A group of us came here for a terrific lunch during the work week. The restaurant is inside an old vault with these beautiful old doors, and is decorated with a lot of vintage, money related things.
The food was all delicious! It took a while to come out, which was surprising because there weren't many people in the restaurant during lunch, but it was definitely worth the wait. I had the duck leg risotto which was the perfect blend of savory flavors and contrasting textures. The risotto is creamy and smooth but the duck leg was roasted so the skin was amazingly crispy. The portions were generous as well.
Afterwards we got the toffee pudding which was also fantastic, warm and not too sweet. Overall we had a great time here, and would definitely recommend it for lunch!
