What an experience! I went on a trip with a few days notice to NY and obviously when I looked to make a reservation there wasn't any space, even so my hotel was near Tiffany and in my curiosity to try some of their desserts I decided to ask if there were orders to go, kindly all of the team (guards and vendors) told me they had no idea but that if I wanted to go upstairs and ask there wasn't problem and here is a tip: if you don't have a reservation you can find a space in the afternoon at the bar, the experience is the same (and I would even say more personalized) the bartender served me and was always very friendly and super helpful (my congratulations for having him on your team). The dessert and the coffee: delicious! I didn't expect more, to talk about the service and quality they have, the prices were perfect for me (I have paid more for horrible, flavorless coffees) incredible experience!
Indulging in a meal at the Tiffany Building in NYC was a true delight. Securing a seat with my family, we relished not only the most delicious cuisine but also the breathtaking azure views. The food exceeded the high standards I'd come to expect in the USA, complemented by outstanding service. However, what truly captured my heart were the meticulously arranged live roses and orchids, adding an extra layer of enchantment to this lovely experience.
We came in on a Saturday afternoon, to celebrate our friends graduation. We were served by Cedric, who took the best care of us! He made us feel very comfortable, explained the whole menu to us, didn’t rush us at all, kept entertaining us and even provided us with complimentary champagne and desserts to celebrate our friends big achievement! We had the most amazing time, the cafe is gorgeous, the servers are lovely, the food was of great quality and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you Cedric, you made our experience even BETTER!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s…. What more is there to say? They put us in the private room. Which they said was the original room from the 60’s version with Audrey Hepburn. The remodel is remarkable. Service was wonderful and the food was surprisingly good. This is a must stop for NY. The manager of the Blue Box was so nice!!
Went for the afternoon tea service. The location is beautiful as you’d expect and the service was astounding as well. I wish they maybe had one more savory sandwich and one less sweet item. Helps balance it out. They brought a nice cherry cake for my birthday which was very nice of them to have that. Overall the experience was wonderful. And the Tiffany store itself is amazing. Walking down from the cafe on the 6th floor it’s impossible to not stop and admire everything.
The Blue Box Cafe gave me all kinds of feels. Just being surrounded in such beauty made me feel special. The food and the plating were nice but didn’t knock my socks off. It’s definitely an experience. It was worth the splurge for something fun to do in nyc.
We dined at the cafe - dinner and breakfast.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food. We had scallops and halibut for
dinner and they were well cooked and fresh. Scallops were well seared. Fries was alright, just normal fries. Wished they had something more interesting done with the fries.
We also tried Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Tea at Tiffany’s. I personally preferred Tea. It’s pricier but there is a good balance of sweet and savory. My favourite in the “platter” was the scone! They came in blueberry and cranberry (I think it was cranberry). They were so good. I would visit the cafe just to have scones for takeaway if they do that. We also had Tiffany tea that came with it. Light and subtle which was what I like.
Tip: if you don’t like any item or have any allergies, you can switch them out. Ask the server :)
Breakfast at Tiffany was alright. The name of the menu item is iconic and it does come with caviar. Other than that, I wouldn’t get that again. Not that it was not tasty, it just isn’t something I liked.
Also, shoutout to Marina. She was our server for the first visit and her service was amazing. Service in the cafe was good, every server is attentive - ie. My little one dropped her toy, they picked it up immediately and our water cup was never empty.
The other reviews mentioning the restroom are true, it is very troublesome. Try asking the staff at the lift lobby about getting to another floor for the restroom. Everyone was really helpful.
To families with babies, they do have a changing pad in the restroom.
Fate led us to an unforgettable moment in time, and we were fortunate enough to have Tiffany's sales assistant, who crafted an exquisite experience for us to celebrate my 10th anniversary of settling in this country.
We were blown away by the professional and hospitable service.
Although the atmosphere was not entirely to our liking, with its cold and uncozy shades, the bright circles on the floor seemed out of place and disrupted the serene blue and clear vibe of the place.
However, the food was nothing short of extraordinary, and the soupe De pottimaron was divine. The flavors blended seamlessly together, and every bite was pure bliss. The Ravioli Forester was a standout dish that left us salivating for more.
Unfortunately, the scallops were slightly overcooked and failed to satisfy our taste buds. The desserts were fine, but it was the coffee that stole the show with its rich aroma and robust flavor.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will undoubtedly return for more seasonal delights.
On July 4, I managed to secure a reservation at the Blue Box Cafe situated within Tiffany. Curated by renowned chefs Daniel Boulud and Raphaelle Bergeo, the cafe offers an exquisite breakfast and afternoon tea experience. Set on the sixth floor, the ambiance is dominated by Tiffany blue, the brand's iconic hue. Notably, the ceiling is adorned with the emblematic Tiffany blue boxes.
Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were promptly seated. We began our experience with champagne and chose the "Tea at Tiffany's" offering. We selected green tea to accompany our meal. Our afternoon tea included an array of tea sandwiches, cookies, pastries, and a scone, all elegantly displayed on a traditional three-tiered cake stand. As I reconnected with my dear friend, whom I hadn't seen in some time, our conversation flowed effortlessly amidst the delightful bites. Every dish was scrumptious, but the pastries stood out with their intricate and appealing design — they were almost too beautiful to consume.
Our delightful afternoon concluded with more champagne and tea. Afterward, we leisurely perused the latest Tiffany collections. Truly, it was a memorable and satisfying afternoon.
I ordered Cappuccino (which could be better) and breakfast at Tiffany’s . The Madeline’s and eggs with caviar is out of the world and worth it. Other items were good too. The ambience is great and the staff is exceptional. I would recommend putting this place on priority notify on resy. Tables do open up once in a while.
After walking around 5th Ave all morning it was about time for a good coffee. It’s hard to find a coffee place around that area. Lot of retail shops everywhere. My friend booked a reservation (I don’t know how he did it) at that place. It was really cool. The vibe was there, the crew was kind, the coffee was good but the small bites that we tried were better. But pricey. I started with a cappuccino and I had a bite of all the small plates we ordered. Egg in a shell, salmon balik, fletan, coquille st Jacques and the homard au bleu. All plates were delicious! Full of flavors, aroma, colors and freshness. The ambiance is full of the characteristic Tiffany blue color and there are small square Tiffany blue boxes hanging from the sealing. It was a great overall experience.
We were hoping for brunch and were able to secure a 1pm slot which was close enough! Reservations open 30 days in advance, but tables also open up again 2-3 days in advance which is what we did. We ordered breakfasts (pictured is 3 breakfasts) which left everyone satisfied.
The service and atmosphere were perfect, and special thanks to the team that arranged for a surprise dessert.
We had an absolutely lovely time here. I was able to find a reservation 2 days prior randomly! Our server Marina was just beyond- she was so nice, kind, always smiling, so helpful, really went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable even with silly requests and took great pictures of us.
The celebration cake is something to comment on- the small size $65 option is tiny- and it was covered In white glaze with thin blue decorations, and had more mousse than cake. It was very tasty. But the one everyone posts pictures of, the classic Tiffany box, that must be the large size at about $100. I wish I knew this, I would have ordered the larger size.
All the servers and staff were excellent. The Tiffany tea was a nice flavor. The scones were heavenly and they will replenish them on request. The sandwich and small desserts were okay, there were very few options to choose from. Overall was a lovely experience, I wish there was more availability as it’s a great place to go with your girlfriends.
For our first trip to NYC, and as a Tiffany devotee, I knew we had to visit the Blue Box Cafe. (We booked months prior through Resy and while it required commitment, it wasn’t impossible).
We had early dinner and tried a range of dishes including the chicken, fish, grilled ham and cheese, burger and smoked salmon. The fish was particularly outstanding but every dish was excellent. The meals are on the smaller side but this is meant to be quality over quantity and we were all very happy with our selections. We also tried a mix of desserts which were all lovely.
The new modern decor is definitely a shift from the previous luxe feel but in line with the overall direction LVMH has taken. Personally I wish it was still the former as it felt more opulent and in keeping with the store but it didn’t take away from anything.
Dining at the Blue Box Cafe was a beautiful, long awaited experience which I’m so thankful we got to do as part of a magical week in NYC.
My friends and I came here after weeks of trying to get a reservation on Resy. It was a group of 5 of us and they sat us at a comfortable round table in the middle of the cafe. The space was beautiful and tastefully decorated (I guess you shouldn’t expect anything less from a Tiffany’s!). We had been told to set our expectations low on the food before coming here and we were pleasantly surprised so it’s probably worth going in thinking that the food is going to be ok and that you’re really paying for the ambience and the experience.
Our waiter was very nice and was extremely patient with all of our questions. He told us we could share the sets so we ended up ordering a tea for everyone, three desserts, and a breakfast at Tiffany’s set which was enough food for all of us to share.
We ordered the strawberry shortcake, the fig & speculoos, and the tarte aux prunes. The table favorite was the strawberry shortcake but my favorite was the tarte aux prunes. The desserts were beautiful and I thought quite good.
The vibe of the place was amazing. Service was exceptional and all the staff were friendly. Upon finishing our meals, we all agreed that the dessert was the best part of the meal. The table shared truffle fries (which came out way too crispy and flavorless), the VOLAILLE RÔTIE and two orders of RAVIOLI SAINT-GERMAIN. We all agreed both entrees were super underwhelming. The chicken breast had zero flavor in my opinion.
The atmosphere and hospitality made up for a lackluster meal. We definitely enjoyed our time at the blue box but after spending over $300 we all left hungry lol.
I came here the day of my birthday (June 30th), but they were closed as the night before there was a small fire. However, I returned back the day after in hopes of being able to score a table (which was a Saturday). Employees were very skeptical of me getting the table but let me go inside to speak to a manager. After explaining I came from Toronto for this special experience, the very kind managed got me a table with just a 30 minute wait. This was the most memorable brunch of my life! Daniel Boulud is so talented and the food was exquisite. You must check out this stunning restaurant inside of Tiffany & Co, there’s multiple levels to explore before or after you eat. Don’t miss out.
