I understand why this spot is a village institution - it’s difficult to secure a reservation but once you’re in, you feel like you’ve joined a club of insiders who love good food. The burgers are definitely tasty - they’re chunky and juicy. Black Label has a good funk going with the dry aged beef bu
A classic. You can get in for bar seats, and people were taking the burger to-go as takeout throughout our meal. My wife had a PERFECT french omelette, I had a crispy and super tasty French Dip, with a martini for brunch! Do try and reserve a table, and if you're more than two the idea of a walk-in
I recently dined at Minetta Tavern and ordered the Black Label Burger, and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance of the place is charming and inviting. What stood out to me about the Black Label Burger was its simplicity, allowing the high-quality ingredients to shine. There were no unwanted flav
The service here is impeccable! They do not cut corners are giving you a true fine dining yet homey experience in the Tavern corner restaurant. Burger was slightly overrated but the duck was the best prepared duck I’ve ever had! Chocolate soufflé was a nice end cap to the meal (recommended a la mode
One of my favourite restaurants in New York. Their food and drinks are great and the atmosphere of the restaurant can’t be beat. If you’re looking for an authentically New York dining spot, I highly recommend this place. Steak tartare was amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while and the
Stumbled upon this place as a solo diner and it is absolutely great! The crudo is a great appetizer. Light, citrusy, fresh, great portion and just what you need to get a fun dinner going. The Dover sole is phenomenal. Sole can be a bit bland at times but this dish has so much flavor and complexity.
I love this place. Apparently they are famous for their burgers, but because I saw several people unable to finish their burgers, I ordered the filet mignon instead.
It was cooked to perfection. It’s very nicely charred on the outside and so juicy and flavourful on the inside.
I had to wait (stand
I went to try the famous black labble burger here. I liked it, but I didn't find it exceptional. On the other hand, I tried the duck dish, and it was absolutely delicious. The dessert, a soufflé, was incredible
Nice spot in the East Village, party of 2 with a reservation for Saturday brunch. I tried the bone marrow and ordered the French Omelet as my main. Both dishes were as tasty as they were visually impressive.
Order the bone marrow. That is all you need to know.
I had the honey-glazed smoked duck. Truly the most tender, succulent duck I've ever had. The taste was amazing and the apricot jelly was a perfect pairing. The food was amazing. The staff were great and very kind. 10 out of 5 stars.
