Wonderful place, although they had lots of reservations they found us a table right away. The pizza was amazing, done right behind our table in the pizza oven, staff was very nice and fast service. Romantic atmosphere, perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Will definitely be back.

Ovest Pizzoteca is your cozy escape for comfort food done right! 🍕 The brick oven pizza is pure deliciousness (especially the crust), and the Chelsea Mezcalita adds the perfect kick. It's the kind of place where every bite feels like a happy dance for your taste buds. Cheers to good vibes and even better flavors! 🌟

I love these hole in the wall type restaurants. Just googled nearby pizza joints and we were not disappointed with our choice. This place has a very intimate dining room with a rustic appeal to it. There's also a bar too that seemed to have a pretty decent selection. Got a pretty decent selection of pizzas too. Our food came out fast, it was fresh, and freaking delicious! The food was a little pricey, but that's to be expected with quality ingredients and the level of freshness we experienced.

I only recently discovered this hidden gem. The pizza is wood fired and the crust is perfect. The owner importa his own custom milled flour from Italy. The owner, Michele Luzzo is a celebrity chef in Italy and it shows. The atmosphere is great here and it’s busy at lunch. The service is fast and friendly. There’s a reason the local businesses come here for a tasty light lunch. 6 stars if I could give it. 🤩

The food was very good and the service was great. They had plenty of servers to take care of us. There was always someone clearing plates and our server was friendly and attentive. There was one bathroom that worked and it wasn't in great shape.

Entering Ovest is like stepping into an inviting pocket of Italy, a haven of authenticity in the heart of the city. As soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted by the irresistible scent of traditional Italian fare, promising the unique and flavorful culinary journey that lies ahead. Their pizza stands out as a gastronomic masterpiece, each slice a testament to the true art of Italian pizza-making. The taste is original, a delightful symphony of superior ingredients that dance on your palate, held together by a delectably crisp crust. However, their offerings are not just confined to pizza. Their coffee is a standout, an amazing blend that offers a robust yet smooth finale, perfect for savouring. The ambiance is a perfect blend of rustic charm elegance, offering a visual feast that matches the gastronomic one. Ovest isn't simply a restaurant - it's an immersive experience tucked away in the cityscape. Definitely coming back!

Favorite Chelsea neighborhood pizza joint! Intimate interior decor, good outdoor seating options, well-located next to the Highline. Get the flavor-packed Martha + Tartufata pizzas.

Looks like another pizza spot from the outside but it was super cute with a nice cozy yet spacious ambience. Very attentive, the pizza was great (arugula pizza, the meatballs), the drinks were great. So happy I was in the area and stumbled upon this place! Very unexpected!

Authentic, fresh, and delicious Italian cuisine. Modern open decor. Ambiance was relaxing with lovely Italian music. Prices on the higher end but reasonable for value. Had zucchini soup, Caesar salad, pizza with eggplant, mushrooms, and calamari. All had superlative flavor. Wine selections paired with food perfectly. I would return for another experience.

First time here. This place was amazing! For an appetizer we had the meatballs and sauce it was really good. Very tasty and soft, they were seasoned well. With really good bread made from the pizza dough. We had 2 drinks and they were very good. No complaints with food, service or drinks. Juan Carlos was very friendly and attentive. Next up we ordered the Martha pizza. Cheese base, no sauce, with a mushroom truffle oil. And cooked prosciutto on top with a basil garnish. We will be back!

10/10 pizza and pasta at Ovest Pizzoteca. We got a takeout and ordered over the phone, 15 minutes later the food was ready for collection. The staff are super helpful and friendly and despite being very busy they made the time to cater to my pick up. The restaurant itself has lots of seating options but it is advisable to book ahead since they get full very quickly. Full bar in the middle of the restaurant serving everything to cater to your needs.

Great service, nice quiet place with such a nice setup. Feels like you’re somewhere else. And that’s not a bad thing with the hustle and bustle of the city. The pizza was soft and fluffy the cheese was just the right amount, and the sauce has a perfect balance with just a small hint of sweet. I had mushrooms on mine. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. I’ve had brick oven pizza in a lot of places all over the world. This one holds up against all of them. Definitely recommend.

Always a good choice. Tucked off the high line, cute space with a brick fire oven for their pizzas. Artichokes were 😋 Daivola pizza was wonderful with a solid portion of the Italian sausage. Friendly and attentive service. As with everywhere in nyc, reservations are recommended even if not always needed.
