Excellent choice for my last night at NYC. Everything was absolutely perfect. If I was asked if anything could have been better, my response would be a resounding “no.” Drink was excellent, steak was perfectly done (medium rare), the fried potatoes and asparagus were both excellent, my glass of wine was the perfect pairing, and my 2 servers.

The filet mignon ordered was delicious. I was hesitant and I took a Caesar salad but I ate finally my husband filet. The meat was tender and very well seasoned. The dressing of the salad excellent. Recommended 👍👍👍

My fiancee and I went to Quality Meats last month to celebrate our engagement. The ambience was a little dark, but very romantic. The service, from the beginning, was top notch. We both ordered 16 oz Filets and were amazed by how juicy and well seasoned they were. The potatoes side dish is also a must with their steaks. The selection of wines was also impressive, especially their red wine selection. The waiter seemed to know every single one of them by detail, which was very impressive as well. Our food took only about 15 minutes to come out, which is pretty good for a premium steak restaurant. We had a wonderful time and are very happy that we chose quality meats to celebrate such a beautiful moment in both of our lives.

QM is a fine steakhouse in a city where there are many great options. I hosted a party for 10 people. It was a food-a-thon. The waiters did an excellent job of managing the group and were spot on. The som's wine choices were also excellent. I have trouble getting excited about steakhouses but thought it was very good. Obviously the steaks were excellent.

Delicious!. Very nice restaurant with a beautiful display of wine bottles surrounding the staircase. My bf and I made reservations for 8:30pm but had to wait around for 15 minutes to be seated.
We ordered the Traditional Steak Tartare and the Hamachi Sashimi for starters. Both were wonderful and very tasty. They also gave us rosemary bread on the side which was so hot and fresh! We each ordered the filet mignon medium rare, which was perfectly cooked, and a side of sauteed spinach and The Quality Potato. We were both stuffed and satisfied by the end of the night.
Overall, we had a great experience at Quality Meats and we definitely recommend this restaurant for those looking for a delicious steakhouse in New York!
Had dinner there tonight and our meals were fantastic. Our service was top notch as well. I have eaten at some of the top steakhouses in the U.S. and was happy that this restaurant exceeded expectations. Our steaks and filets were cooked perfectly. Quality. This place is exactly what its title of the restaurant is known for and its quality. The food was amazing had a salmon tartar appetizer which i highly recommend then the rib eye steak which was perfectly cooked. The steak was a 9.8/10 delicious steak, and the sides were interesting to try. Great quality meat thats for sure

Tried it for the first time tonight with my husband on date night. LOVED IT! We love steak and have tried many high end steakhouses but this is our new favorite! We had the dry aged porterhouse for 2 med rare, corn brûlée, hashbrown potatoes and fried artichokes. The service was fast and attentive, steak was cooked & seasoned perfectly and melted in your mouth. Did not love the homemade special steak sauce. The corn brûlée was out of this world, perfect sweetness to balance the steak. Fried artichokes were nice, light and crispy. The hashbrowns were ok. We were so full we didn't get a chance to have dessert. Highly reccommend! We will be back!

For all the steakhouses I visited this one by far is my favorite. Let's start with the interior setting: the place deco has a good balance among trendy, classic and modern, the place is a little too dim to see my steak. The best thing about the meat is the flavor, perfectly aged, and the fragrance lasted until the last bite. Everything else here is irrelevant. The meat is slightly hard but perfectly prepared. And lastly, our waiter, Brad! Knowledgeable, funny, courteous but not pushy. He made our steak experience flawless.
Divine! The staff was amazing and friendly. They started by setting the table and gave you the drink list followed by the menu. I ordered myself multiple items, and they all tasted exquisite and came out in a timely manner. The Beef Tartar had great flavor, and the hostess mixed all the spices in front of you. The steak had a cherry glaze, which helped the steak achieve its flavor. The dessert stole the show at the end! Amazing mint tasting ice cream and the fudge brownies at the bottom gave the creamines of the ice cream and delectable chewy texture. I will be visiting again, hopefully with someone other than myself.

Filet wad cooked perfectly! The gnocchi was outstanding, shrimp a little tough, the bacon appetizer I couldn't get enough of. Mint sundae looked really good. Will be back again to try more dishes.
The food and service were both outstanding! Every employee made us feel like they were there to take care of just us, even though it was a packed house on Christmas Eve. The ambiance and atmosphere were also great, although I wish that we hadn’t been seated where the a/c was blowing on us during dinner. Recently dined at Quality Meats in NYC, which is part of a chain of restaurants in the vicinity. Their expansive menu boasts a selection of steaks, meats, and salads that cater to diverse tastes.
The wine list impressed me with both bottle and by-the-glass options. We opted for the dry-aged New York Steak with bone, and it was a stellar choice — perfectly cooked and authentically dry-aged.
The staff is courteous, and we received commendable service throughout our meal.
One aspect that could use improvement was the seating arrangement for couples. Our table was placed very close to two others, which made it feel like communal dining. However, on the bright side, it offers an opportunity to make new acquaintances.
Their tea selection is noteworthy, and considering NYC standards, the pricing is reasonable.
I'd certainly recommend Quality Meats, especially for larger groups of 4-6. For couples, it might be worth requesting a more spacious seating option.

I have dined at Quality Meats on two occasions, once for dinner, and once for lunch. The food, service, and atmosphere are all fantastic. While this is more of a trendy place to visit, make no mistake, the food is outstanding! I absolutely love the homemade steak sauce, too, and they made it right in front of me!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here tonight and had the most wonderful meal. The service from Bridget and her team was incredible, I think our server was called Mike and he was so great, all of the team were.
The food is out of this world, fresh, cooked to perfection, and full of flavour. The lobster truffle brioche special was spectacular, as was the porterhouse steak. We also had the Parmesan waffle fries and corn crème brûlée. Everything was faultless.

Everything you want from a steakhouse experience - meaty cuts, decadent service and an overall cosy atmosphere. Definitely a good place to experience the NY steakhouse treatment. Don’t sleep on the corn creme brulee or the caviar sliders, those were amazing!
Delicious! I had the grass fed strip steak and a side of grilled salmon! Both cooked medium rare with a ton of flavor! Atmosphere is super chill, clean spaces and staff super kind! 10/10

Located just a block from Carnegie Hall in midtown Manhattan, this rustic & understated elegant steakhouse is sure to please. The $100 Tomahawk steak & a rare $3k+ French bottle of red vino were a few of the lofty price menu items, but the Filet Mignon, NY Strip & bone in sirloin cuts were relatively & reasonably priced. The steaks were not drowning in butter to cover up low quality beef or inexperienced culinary technique like many overpriced steakhouses. High praise to the kitchen staff for expert aging and preparation, which both are easily floundered by amateur chefs. Often times the sides are overpriced afterthoughts at chop houses but not here. The butter drenched asparagus, delectable balsamic artichoke hearts & crème brûlée corn perfectly complimented the carnivorous delights. As noted earlier, the wine list was ext(p)ensive, so we opted for singles of red, a Malbec, Napa Cab & Chianti Sangiovese, which were absolutely delicious 😋. Don't be fooled by the non-fancy butcher shop name. The meat, ingredients, wine, service & atmosphere are all high quality. Every bite of the perfectly prepared medium rare filet will melt in your mouth. Next time in Gotham, Quality Meats is definitely a steak lovers stop. I went on a Sunday and I was very satisfied. A table of 6 and nobody has anything negative to say! We each had a different type of beef and I think the tomahawk was the best(for obvious reasons). We also had the meatballs, the cheese board, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and fried. The Brussels and mashed potatoes were probably some of the best we have ever eaten. All the servers were so nice! I highly recommend.
