Not sure if you can find here the best burger in Manhattan, but what it is a fact is that it is the best place to have it. The burgers of course are really good but the place and the atmosphere are really amazing. The best burger in Manhattan is hidden behind a red curtain. This is what I was told. And fully agree. Will be back for sure

My first experience at this hidden burger joint!!!! The burgers were seasoned to perfection and fries were fresh. It’s kind of pricey; however, what do you expect living in NYC when everything is pricey!!! The staff was nice and the lines moved quickly !!! I ordered a single cheeseburger and fries. I will definitely return to the burger joint.

I recently visited the Burger Joint in New York, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The simplicity of ordering your food adds to the charm of this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the burgers – they were cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of flavors and textures. The great selection of beers complemented the meal perfectly. One standout feature was the multi-language cashier, which was a great addition, making the ordering process smooth and accommodating for international visitors. In summary, the Burger Joint offers not only delicious burgers but also a friendly atmosphere and efficient service. It's a must-visit for burger enthusiasts in New York.

This is always a great Midtown spot for a burger and a great place to bring out of town guests when doing a Broadway show. It’s got that speakeasy cool factor, hidden in the Thompson hotel, and the burgers are top notch. Do expect to pay a bit of a premium for that but I think it’s worth it. On my most recent visit, they moved it - I don’t know how - but it retains all its charm and is still a hit! I’ll be back.

I've never experienced anything like this! 🤤 Coolly hidden in the hotel. At first, you think you're in the wrong place! But then, behind the luxurious lobby, you discover the burger joint of your life. 🤝🏼 One of the top 3 burgers of my life (and I've had many 😅). They offer hamburgers or cheeseburgers, but done right! Incredibly juicy patties with your own choice of ingredients. It was truly amazing! 🍔🔥

Is it the best burger in NYC? Yes. Definitely. Is it the best burger ever? No. Definitely not. But it’s still an amazing burger. Fries don’t worth, if not shared. Better to grab a couple of burgers, the price will be the same. Total around 30$

Hole in the wall style burger spot- Inside the Parker Meridian Hotel, in the back behind a curtain lies this gem. Would definitely recommend the burger with "the works". Pretty long line around lunch time, was a 15-20 min wait at 1pm on a Wednesday. Price is on par with similar craft burger restaurants.

BEST BURGER EVER!!! Little hidden gem in Manhattan. Must try if in the area. The burger had the perfect cook, perfect grilled flavor, literally 1/2 lb of beef on the double cheeseburger with the works. And all the flavors were perfect. So happy we stopped here and gave it a try. Very cool atmosphere, and bring a sharpie if you want to leave your mark 😊

What an absolutely cool experience! After entering into the hotel dinning area, My group and I were absolutely lost and I was confused why we were at such a fancy restaurant. I asked a waiter if he could point us to the Burger Joint. He told us just go through those red velvet curtains. In my head I was thinking "what kind of upscale burger place did my friends find?" But when you walk past those curtains it's a completely different experience. I was taken back, the place was cool and fun. The cooks kept the long line moving and although seating was limited, I managed to secure seats for my group. Then there's the food. I got a double bacon cheese burger with everything and fries...it was a bit pricey...but it was by far one of the best burger I've had ever, if not the best. Everything was cooked perfectly and the taste was perfect because of it. Hopefully I get the chance to come back next time I'm in town.

Burger Joint Always fun and great burgers. it’s gotten a little pricey ($20 for a double cheeseburger) but still worth it and lets face it, everything is more expensive today. located to the left of the entrance (into a larger and I dare say more gentrified, space 😪 but still managing to hang on,for the most part, to its dive bar vibe) in what was previously the old very upscale Le Parker Meridien (now the very upscale Hyatt Thompson Park) on 56th, behind the massive burgundy velvet curtains - no name to indicate where you’re going just a neon sign of a burger. if you e been before, it is now opposite of where it was before Covid And as noted in other reviews, cash only, definitely the best dive bar burger in the city in anything BUT a dive bar location.
