We have eaten many times at Pappardella on the Upper West Side over the years for both lunch and dinner. This is an outstanding neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food and service have always been great, and we love the rustic feel of this establishment. Pappardella's sauce is the highlight of their amazing menu. We highly recommend it here!

WOW. A totally wonderful Italian restaurant in the UWS. Walking into Pappardella, was like stepping into an old Italian establishment in “The Old Country”. Relaxed ambiance, good old-world feeling. A great professional service and amazing food. Everything I had from the pasta to the Lamb chops was perfect. Totally loved that place

Amazing Italian restaurant in the Upper West Side! The staff is so warm and accommodating, from start to finish. The caipirinha cocktail was perfect, and I have to say, the Chicken Parmigiana was probably the best I have had in my life - and I have had that dish many, many times in restaurants all over the US. This is my new favorite Italian place in NYC!

10/10 will always come back here!! A true gem of the neighborhood. 1. The food, the wine; DELICIOUS. Full stop. 2. I cannot stress this enough- every single time I come into Pappardella, each staff member I come in contact with, leads with pure kindness and professionalism. It has always been a warm welcome, a lovely meal with fantastic service, and a wonderful goodbye. I come here with my partner, I bring friends all the time, and I sing the restaurant’s praises any chance I can. 3. The manager, Edward, has always treated my fellow dinner guests and me with the utmost respect and availability. Truly the nicest and most attentive manager in the area, with a top-notch staff. Run, don’t, walk, to Pappardella for any of your Italian meals/getaways in the city.

What a great dinner before a concert at the Beacon. Fun cocktails, generous servings of olives and roasted vegetables, and super fresh pasta with light sauces. And the fresh bread with olive oil! Friendly servers were mindful of being quick so we could make it to the show.

The food was pretty good! We ordered pizzas (heads up they are flat breads and the waiter made sure we knew) also fried burrata and many other things, everything was delicious. No on the cheaper side, but great for a date night!

Had a very nice dinner here. Service and ambience is very nice. Dining inside is comfortable and cozy. Food was good. Traditional Italian. Chicken Parm was well made with a nice sauce and Frutti De mare was excellent and packed with lobster, clams, mussels, and squid on top of fresh pasta. Topped off with a nice glass of red, it was a nice evening.

I came here post a Central Park wedding and let me say I was not dissatisfied nor disappointed. The appetizers were spot on and of various types to snack upon. The sangria was a refreshing light white variety that cooled down a warm setting. The sea bass special was paired with a crisp Chardonnay that complimented the entire meal. The manager came out to bring a champagne cocktail special along with a lovely dessert. The grappa paired with a double espresso was a lovely ending to a great dinner. The staff here went above and beyond to accommodate a special celebration…the manager was an absolute gentleman! Well worth more than five stars allotted!

The food tasted amazing. We ordered the arugula salad, the daily special pork chop, and a house made lemonade. I liked that the lemonade had no sugar added. Will return to try the pasta.

We had an enjoyable meal in early December. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays with tinsel and greenery. We were seated promptly, and our server arrived with a smile soon after. Asparagus appetizer in pesto sauce was tasty, and the Caesar salad was crisp with good dressing. I had one of the specials, pasta with beef short ribs in a rich ragu sauce. It was delicious, and it was a generous serving. My wife enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana. The bread pudding for dessert was tasty but unusual - a thin layer of bread pudding served on a hot skillet with lots of cream and ice cream. Price was very reasonable for what we received. Pizzas at neighboring tables looked good, too. They can skip the 70s music, but it was not too loud and barely heard when the restaurant was full.
