Amazing place for burgers! Decor and ambience were too good!
Highly recommended!

As straightforward and simple as it can get, their focus in on the burgers and it shows. Loved their double cheeseburger and the laid back atmosphere that came with it! Wouldn't hurt to spruce up the service a bit though and it would be nice to have plates, even if they are trying to recreate the street food experience.

Amazing burgers, don't get the double unless you're starving, it's messy and huge.
Also a fan of their simple approach, burgers, fries and beer, can't go wrong.
I have been struggling to bind my one off meals while at New York so I thought it would make sense to have a couple of posts covering my various meals which are not specifically themed. This post covers a breakfast, a brunch and a dinner which occurred on different occasions during my recent trip. Jack's Wife Freda One day while I was strolling around Soho, I was near the boundary of where Soho changes to Nolita and I saw a group of people milling around a little cafe. My curiosity got to me, I decided to get nearer and saw the sign "Jack's Wife Freda". What an interesting name! It certainly perked my interest and after a bit of googling back in the hotel, I came by one early morning for breakfast. It was a cosy little bistro packed to the brim with diners. I managed to slide into a little table and ordered the Madame Freda. It was a Pressed sandwich with duck prosciutto, cheddar béchamel, gruyere and a fried egg. It was delicious! The duck prosciutto was thinly sliced, and the béchamel and gruyere was nicely cheesy. There was a small salad of rocket with pickled onion. I loved the sweetness of the onion. I also had a fresh cantaloupe juice (for us Aussies it is rock melon juice). The people were friendly and I could see Freda running the front of house.
We put more veggies because the cheeseburger only had one piece of lettuce
Juicy burger, crispy bacon, thinly sliced red onion. 5/5!
Very pricey though. Milkshake priced over 10 dollars. Bacon cheese burger and fries came at >$16
Got a cheeseburger with the works. Was surprised when they asked how I wanted it prepared. Medium, and that's what I got! Only docking a star because it does take a while for your food to come out. They truly make them to order. Tasty burger nothing too much to complain about. Happy opening!
I cannot remember the last time I had a better cook (true medium/rareish) on a burger. Anywhere. Very, very impressed by the staff on a Friday afternoon.
Great burgers at good prices. There's a good selection of beers too. The service was professional and efficient.
The smoothie tasted good but not worth the price. It was more expensive than a burger.
The burger tasted average, but reasonable price for the location.
A nice stop for a quick meal, the menu was a bit overpriced for what you get (the hamburgers was fast food size like a McDonald burger, nothing like bar size) there was a bit of a wait but the place had a long line so it might have just been timing. Not the best place in the station tho so if you’re in a hurry/not craving burgers specifically, someplace else is prob better
Burger, fries were good, but not exactly up there for the asking price.
This location is great. I've gone here numerous times. Like all Burger Joint locations, you get to choose the doneness. I've had orders with just the burger, multiple burgers, and even burger orders with fries. I've never had an ordering issue. The burgers are tasty and juicy. "The works" can get messy. This is a burger! It's expected! People I've brought to this location have become Burger Joint fans.
Thank you ALL. Loved the food and the Atmosphere all together.
Peace is a Great thing... Especially in oUR home.
I'll recommend this to All.
One of the best burgers I’ve tried in the city. I ordered a cheeseburger, medium and it was done perfectly. They allow you to customize it based on your preferences. Not a cheap place. Cheeseburger & fries + tax and 15% tip was $19.34
