I work near this restaurant & see it all the time. Such a beautiful restaurant. I finally took my family there. The hostesses were very kind & our waitress, Lika, was wonderful & authentic. Despite my youngest being naughty she treated her so well. The pizzas & the hanger steak were delicious. The Candy Land pizza was awesome & that's actually what led me to this restaurany in the first place which I had seen on an ad. I will be back with co-workers.

Besides the food being awesome. The entire vibe of the place is started by the manager Eddie. He made us feel like family when this was our first visit from Seattle. It's people like Eddie that show us all how we are supposed to treat others. No matter what color you are, what nationality you are or what your beliefs. Thanks for making our trip memorable.

Great place for some wood fired pizzas, you get a great view of the river from here as well which is very enjoyable with your pizzas and drinks. It is sometimes loud due to its busy nature.

Looking for a place for lunch during work one day, I (Mirko), along with a few friends tried out Industry Kitchen located on South Street in the Financial District (FIDI). . For a quick lunch option we opted for three dishes (2 starters and 1 pizza). Seasoned Grilled Cauliflower - $13. First up our starters arrived for the table. The Seasonal Grilled Cauliflower with pecorino, caper and lemon relish ($13) was an interestingly presented dish. When we saw this on the menu, we thought that the cauliflower would be presented as individual buds, however out appeared half a head of cauliflower. The cauliflower itself, did not have a huge amount of flavour, however it was helped out by the pecorino crumb, which added a nice textural element as well as a tart relish.

Located on a beautiful, open, sunlit pier facing the sparkling waters of the Hudson River, this place ticks all the right boxes when it comes to location, ambience, service and food. You can choose the warm, open outdoor seating on a chilly winter day or their stripped down yet classy interior area for your meal date. The staff as well as service is super prompt and enthusiastic. I tried their Spinach pizza which was absolutely fantastic - a must try from their menu. Their baked onion soup was good too, but not as great as the previous item. They have an eclectic bar menu. Tried the Gypsy red beer which was very yummy. In all, the place offers stunning views of the river, along with great food and a happy to help crew.

I've been here twice already and I think that is sufficient enough to warrant a review.

Both times I was with colleagues and both times this place has failed to disappoint. I've tried their margherita pizza and their roasted lemon chicken. I know this may sound weird, but I'm not a fan of chicken. BUT the roasted chicken from this place was enough to make me fall to my knees and weep. See, I value simplicity. If you're looking for something crazy in terms of seasoning, then you'll find this sub par at the least. To me, the simplicity of this dish speaks volumes. If you cant get the fundamentals right, what is the point? It is like putting make up on a pig.

When deciding what restaurant to go to with friends I first look at the type of food they serve, the price, and the location. I am almost certain that when the owners sit down to look at all the factors that will attract clientele, they also take these factors into consideration. I have never been to a restaurant that is similar to Industry Kitchen, and that is a good thing because uniqueness attracts a lot of people. Attending the opening of the restaurant a few weeks ago was the best way to spend a weekday evening after work.

South Street Seaport’s newest waterfront restaurant and bar had it’s grand opening last week and you’re all in for a treat. Industry Kitchen is a new spot for a summer happy hour with unobstructed views of the water and Brooklyn skyline. Aside from the food (we’ll get there), what makes this place interesting is the architecture. Industry Kitchen combines industrial sharp edges and concrete with reclaimed plank wood. The result is a mixture of industry and sea – combining both features of the area.

Perfect spot to eat outside on a nice day! Overlooks the East River next to the Seaport. The pizza and pasta are not gluten free but their cauliflower was delicious!

Very cute and nice restaurant. Indoors is very spacious perfect for big groups, and the bar area is comfortable enough for you and/or your party be there as well. BAR seating are my faves. This time around I opted for the outdoor seating which is the biggest charm of this place this holiday season, they have individual seating room, house like, big enough for a party up to 4 even 6 I'll say. You get a nice view of the river and natural light, at night must be gorgeous. Service is Top Notch. Our server Daria was very attentive and accommodating which we greatly appreciate. Her recommendations for the drinks according to my taste were perfect. The food menu is very welcoming since it has all types of allergies subs and request available which makes it more pleasant. From vegan friendly to Gluten free options. The drinks options are very diverse from holiday cocktails to mocktails! I will totally recommend this place, specially who wants to have a intimate experience I will choose outside seating!!

Stopped by this lovely restaurant in Manhattan without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised. The food was not only very good but the location is truly pleasant. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Considering the typically high prices in Manhattan, I found their rates quite reasonable. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience in the city.

Cool spot. Food was great. Melanie our waitress was great. The soap was phenomenal and so was the lobster ravioli and lobster tacos. Even the ice tea/ lemonade was great. It’s a great place, hidden away but very accessible.

The igloo little house things are a great and cute idea but my igloo was cold:( there was a small heater in the corner but the little heat it produced went right out every time the waiter opened the door. Other than that this place is great! If my igloo was nice and warm this place would be a dream. It’s right on the water so a nice view and who doesn’t like to be able to eat outside when it’s freezing temperatures?! The food is delicious. Lots of options so everyone can find something. The portions are pretty large which is also nice!

Been here twice now, lunch and dinner. Great experience both times. Food is good - well portioned entrees and taste is on point. Drinks are yummy as well. Service is always excellent and of course the view of the water is unbeatable. They put a sparkler candle in the dessert (tiramisu cones) for my birthday which was cute and very much appreciated 🙂

3.5 / 5.0 - Industry Kitchen is in the perfect location for outdoor dining on a nice day or evening out. It’s spacious and right by the water facing the river, so you don’t have to worry about cars driving by while you’re eating, like other restaurants in the city. The food hasn’t been amazing, but you’re coming here more for the chill waterfront vibe and atmosphere. This time, I tried the Maine Lobster Ravioli ($38+), which was good, but not very warm. The Watermelon & Feta Salad ($17+) was tasty, but not very large. The prices are comparable to other restaurants nearby, so it could be a good option if you’re looking for a nice spot to hang out by the water.

Went here tonight for dinner with my family. It was the first time for all of us and even though the weather wasn't very nice the experience at Industry Kitchen made up for it! We opted for the Restaurant Week prefix menu which offered a nice selection and included an appetizer, entree, and dessert. We each ordered something different so we can taste as much of the menu as possible. For appetizers we ordered the meatballs, peppers, and kale salad. Each of the dishes was unique and flavorful and they were a great segue into our main course which consisted of a pepperoni pizza, a white pizza, and a chicken breast with polenta. The pizzas were an explosion of flavor and that crust is def something special. The chicken was juicy and delicious and man that crispy skin! Finally, the desserts we had were the creme brule and espresso cones. Both were really amazing and my favorite part of the meal! The staff was super attentive, kind, and friendly. The views of the river and Brooklyn create a unique ambiance you can't experience at a typical restaurant. Will def be back thank you Industry Kitchen for the tasty time!

My friends and I came here as a last-minute change due to the weather for a bday brunch. The food was pleasant, and the drinks were good. Overall, it was a good experience.

Friendly bar-service. Food was very good. [Watermelon arugula feta salad was huge chunks of melon and a little sprinkle of arugula - definitely wished the melon had at least been bite sized. But the Octopus small plate was very tender and all the flavours were lovely.] Vibe seemed very “family meets waterfront” but the quality was a lot better than I expected from the outside. I really really liked this experience.

Went with my buddy to celebrate his bday. The food and the atmosphere slapped. Stephanie the new girl had such a great energy. Y’all are lucky to have her. The lobster tacos were my favorite. Great job on the salmon. I will definitely be back. I felt like the place had a positive, I would work here.

Such a beautiful place with great service. Went on a Saturday without a reservation and yet they were kind enough to spare a table for us!! The spectacular view of Brooklyn bridge with some really nice food choices. And the best part was the cocktails. Good recommendations by our server Emon H.

I loved everything about this place. We went for brunch/lunch and ordered Lobster omelet, Hunter Omelet, Big breakfast, and Artichoke Pizza. They all were great. Specially the pizza and the Hunter Omelet. The view was beautiful and we had a great time.

Really easy going place for food and by the water setting. Food was all really yummy and quite a range of choice from pizza to lobster. I was expecting a better view of Brooklyn bridge but was nice on a hot day to be eating outside next to the water. Very casual vibe.. good for a mid week catch up or a boozy day sunny day with friends.
