Another delicious meal at Friedman’s. Their pastrami is absolutely amazing, especially as part of a gluten-free Reuben. The friend chicken sandwiches, both regular and GF were a family favorite as well. Finish it off with a gf lava cake to complete a perfect meal.
Was there for lunch and it hit the spot. They dont take reservations so it can be a little bit of a wait but worth it. I had the Korean chicken wings which were big, crispy, and very tasty. Next up was the Buttermilk fried chicken sandwhich with a great sriracha aioli that was just wonderful.
Ordered: The Reuben, Fries and Tomato Soup
Cost: $20-30
Thoughts: Probably some of the best food that’s close to Javits Center. Highly recommend giving the Reuben a shot, the soup was also incredible. Fries were just kinda mid.. solid beer / drink selection. I’ve heard good things about brunch too
Yummy buttermilk chicken sandwich. Crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. A good balance of textures and flavors. The rosemary seasoned fries were a wonderful sidekick to the sandwich. Also, the service was top notch: attentive and fast.
We ordered Grubhub and this food was AMAZING! It was fast and hot! Gluten free everything and it was all so tasty. The best brussel sprouts I've ever had and gluten free fried chicken and Mac and cheese and CHEESECAKE. I ate every bite!
pastrami was good. The hamburger meat was a little overcooked. The place and atmosphere are nice. the service was very friendly. If you are in this area, you can try it.
The food and service were excellent! I started with their spicy jalapeno drink and it was spicy but delicious. My steak was fantastic and a bargain at $30. My husband's salmon was excellent and they accommodated his GF needs. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars because the place was dusty. I'd g
Friedman's Hell's Kitchen in New York is a culinary gem that delivers a truly authentic and mouthwatering dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance exudes a cozy, welcoming charm. The star of the show, however, is the food.

The vibe at Friedman's is great! It's cozy, laid-back, and perfect for just hanging out. The place has this cool rustic look that adds to the whole vibe. You can just kick back, relax, and enjoy your meal without any pretentiousness. It's a down-to-earth joint, and I love that.
I went all in for
Must eat here! Two of us are Celiac and they were very cautious to tell us about cross contamination when it came to pancakes. We had the Pastrami hash. Fantastic quality and flavor. The kitchen also marked the food. Will be back! No reservations, so plan on standing outside to wait.
American dinner and restaurant located in the Chelsea Market. We've been there on a Saturday's afternoon, and although the market was crowded, they had some tables available. We've ordered the Tuna Melt and the Fried Chicken with Waffles. The portions were larger than expected! Good food in general,
Happy we finally made it in! The gluten-free chicken and waffles was AMAZING, the price... not so much ($28). We were sat quickly, our waitress was super nice and the menu was plentiful. Be prepared to pay $100 for breakfast for 2.
Breakfast here on a Saturday morning right when they opened up. Good food and good service.
Decided to walk over because my group and I were close by and needed to grab a bite to eat.
The restaurant was great. We sat in a booth that was spacious, service was quick and the food was great. Really delicious. We had to wait a bit for the dinner menu to be available but by the time we sat down
Walked in for Saturday brunch not knowing what to expect but found both the food (I had the Nova Benny) and their cocktails to be excellent. Servers can be *very* quirky - I liked it but might not be to everyone’s tastes. I recommend it, just make sure you get a reservation as there will likely be a
One of the better locations of Friedman’s. Food was tasty but not greasy like another locations. Attentive friendly service. Surprising no wait on a Sunday brunch time.
This is a very nice restaurant to grab a bite in, If you’re in Hell’s Kitchen in the West Side. They have a nice but small selection of beers on tap. The appetizer was excellent and the main course were good. A solid for star restaurant. Note that it definitely gets crowded the closer you get to 7p
Friedman’s is your typical brunch spot with a great atmosphere for meetings and dates.
I got the fish tacos. I suggest to order a little something extra like the sweet potato fries but only if you’re with another friend. The fish tacos filled me up but I wanted to be full haha
Prompt and friendly service, good quality food (check the photo, the Ruben) and a strong black coffee. A nice place to take a break and start again.
