I was craving chicken & waffles for breakfast, so I decided to come here and boy - am I glad! There was A LOT of food. The waffle is pretty thick, I didn’t even get to eat all of it; that’s how big it was! The fried chicken has a good flavor to it and is nice & crispy. The habanero honey sauce that they give you is amazing. It was the perfect mix of sweet & spicy and paired very well when you add the maple syrup. The service here was fast, the ambiance is nice and casual, and the music selection was good (a lot of throwbacks!). Highly satisfied with my visit!!

Visited Friedman’s on 47th St. Amazing! I’m a coeliac and finding somewhere safe to eat isn’t easy. Here though, I even had pie! Service, menu choice and quality of food all amazing. We’ve been for lunch and dinner today and will be back for breakfast in the morning! So good to feel safe (and have choice!) when I’m eating, I felt like a ‘normal’ person - thank you!

Just spent a whole week visiting Manhattan and this place was our main source for breakfast. Thanks for all the wonderful gluten free food. Have you thought about a restaurant in the UK????

Excellent food, lots of gluten free options. Is within walking distance from the convention center. We had the fish tacos and lamb burger. Fantastic! Service was quick and food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time

Ate there 2 days in a row on a recent visit to the city. The service is super friendly and accommodating. So many great menu choices, even for someone who has to eat gluten. The blueberry butter served at breakfast is ah-mazing!

Everything here can be Gluten Free and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend. It tastes just as I remember ‘normal’ food tastes. Reasonably priced too. Staff are friendly and courteous.

Another delicious meal at Friedman’s. Their pastrami is absolutely amazing, especially as part of a gluten-free Reuben. The friend chicken sandwiches, both regular and GF were a family favorite as well. Finish it off with a gf lava cake to complete a perfect meal.

Was there for lunch and it hit the spot. They dont take reservations so it can be a little bit of a wait but worth it. I had the Korean chicken wings which were big, crispy, and very tasty. Next up was the Buttermilk fried chicken sandwhich with a great sriracha aioli that was just wonderful.

Ordered: The Reuben, Fries and Tomato Soup Cost: $20-30 Thoughts: Probably some of the best food that’s close to Javits Center. Highly recommend giving the Reuben a shot, the soup was also incredible. Fries were just kinda mid.. solid beer / drink selection. I’ve heard good things about brunch too! Side note, things were labeled with allergy information, and our waitress asked if we had any allergies. A super allergy-friendly place!

Yummy buttermilk chicken sandwich. Crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. A good balance of textures and flavors. The rosemary seasoned fries were a wonderful sidekick to the sandwich. Also, the service was top notch: attentive and fast.

We ordered Grubhub and this food was AMAZING! It was fast and hot! Gluten free everything and it was all so tasty. The best brussel sprouts I've ever had and gluten free fried chicken and Mac and cheese and CHEESECAKE. I ate every bite!

The food and service were excellent! I started with their spicy jalapeno drink and it was spicy but delicious. My steak was fantastic and a bargain at $30. My husband's salmon was excellent and they accommodated his GF needs. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars because the place was dusty. I'd go back! Sorry we took a bite before I took the pics.

Friedman's Hell's Kitchen in New York is a culinary gem that delivers a truly authentic and mouthwatering dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance exudes a cozy, welcoming charm. The star of the show, however, is the food. The menu at Friedman's is a culinary journey through comfort food, with a modern twist. Their fried chicken is a masterpiece, boasting a crispy, golden crust that gives way to tender, succulent meat. It's like a southern classic with a New York City edge. The flavors in every bite are bold and comforting, making it hard to resist ordering more. The selection of dishes extends far beyond fried chicken, though. Their mac and cheese is an indulgent delight, and the burgers are a juicy explosion of flavors. The farm-to-table ethos shines through the quality of ingredients, giving every dish a fresh and wholesome taste. The authenticity at Friedman's doesn't stop at the food – their staff is warm and welcoming, making you feel like you're part of their family. The service is top-notch, and the attention to detail is remarkable. If you're in New York and craving delicious, authentic comfort food, look no further than Friedman's Hell's Kitchen. It's a culinary adventure that will leave you craving more and an experience that'll keep you coming back for their exceptional food and warm hospitality.

The vibe at Friedman's is great! It's cozy, laid-back, and perfect for just hanging out. The place has this cool rustic look that adds to the whole vibe. You can just kick back, relax, and enjoy your meal without any pretentiousness. It's a down-to-earth joint, and I love that. I went all in for their meatloaf. The meat was juicy, and the toppings were fresh and bursting with flavor. I wish I could rate like 4.5 stars but a few dirty silverware and drinking glass dropped it down for me.

Must eat here! Two of us are Celiac and they were very cautious to tell us about cross contamination when it came to pancakes. We had the Pastrami hash. Fantastic quality and flavor. The kitchen also marked the food. Will be back! No reservations, so plan on standing outside to wait.

American dinner and restaurant located in the Chelsea Market. We've been there on a Saturday's afternoon, and although the market was crowded, they had some tables available. We've ordered the Tuna Melt and the Fried Chicken with Waffles. The portions were larger than expected! Good food in general, and friendly staff.

Happy we finally made it in! The gluten-free chicken and waffles was AMAZING, the price... not so much ($28). We were sat quickly, our waitress was super nice and the menu was plentiful. Be prepared to pay $100 for breakfast for 2.

Decided to walk over because my group and I were close by and needed to grab a bite to eat. The restaurant was great. We sat in a booth that was spacious, service was quick and the food was great. Really delicious. We had to wait a bit for the dinner menu to be available but by the time we sat down and ordered drinks, dinner also became available. The group was 3 adults and one child under 10 and we all enjoyed our food and drinks.

Walked in for Saturday brunch not knowing what to expect but found both the food (I had the Nova Benny) and their cocktails to be excellent. Servers can be *very* quirky - I liked it but might not be to everyone’s tastes. I recommend it, just make sure you get a reservation as there will likely be a wait time otherwise

One of the better locations of Friedman’s. Food was tasty but not greasy like another locations. Attentive friendly service. Surprising no wait on a Sunday brunch time.

This is a very nice restaurant to grab a bite in, If you’re in Hell’s Kitchen in the West Side. They have a nice but small selection of beers on tap. The appetizer was excellent and the main course were good. A solid for star restaurant. Note that it definitely gets crowded the closer you get to 7pm.

Friedman’s is your typical brunch spot with a great atmosphere for meetings and dates. I got the fish tacos. I suggest to order a little something extra like the sweet potato fries but only if you’re with another friend. The fish tacos filled me up but I wanted to be full haha

Prompt and friendly service, good quality food (check the photo, the Ruben) and a strong black coffee. A nice place to take a break and start again.
