We had the best time at Supper! During Covid Frank was showing the methods to his dishes, same dishes they serve in the restaurant, through his stories on Instagram. So I started following along and going to buy the ingredients because what else did I have to do during that time?! What I was putting out at home with his guidance was incredible so it was definitely a bucket-list thing for me to get to one of his restaurants during a two-day trip to the city recently. Let me just say that the dishes we ate at the restaurant were even better than what I was putting out at home! We needed to have an early dinner since we were going to a show so we got there right at open at 4pm. We were the only ones there for a bit and they really took care of us. The space is cozy. The people that work there felt like a family. They start you with beans in olive oil served with bread. We ordered the roasted beet salad, spaghetti al limone, tagliatelle al ragu bolognese, and the panna cotta. Everything was a 10/10. I cleaned my whole plate and I NEVER do that. Also, they sang me happy birthday when we ordered dessert even though it wasn't my birthday. I was dying laughing and thought my husband was messing with me, but he said he wasn't. I think they were! It was so funny and we had the best time. I look forward to trying another one when we go up again.

Best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life! Waiter helped our group choose everything and he crushed it! I will be coming back here 100%. Thank you for this experience!

This rustic Italian restaurant brings a sense of coziness with its home style dishes. The burrata is a must try for any cheese lover! It’s served up on top of tomato’s and fresh basil which is the perfect complement to this creamy rich starter. The lemon pasta is outstanding and so enjoyable.

Went here for a bachelorette dinner upon arriving in NYC from Toronto and it did not disappoint. The food was overall fantastic, with a great wine selection. The prices were a bit high, and the atmosphere of the patio was not as stellar as the food (it was also really hot) but we were still treated like queens! I'd definitely come back. :)

Went again 4 more times. Wonderful each time. Best pasta and mussels in town. 3-2-2022 UPDATE: ONCE AGAIN SIMPLY THE BEST. MUSSELS IN GREAT TOMATO SAUCE, TOASTED BREAD WITH WHOLE GARLICS ROASTED ON TOP, BEST PASTA AND TOMATO SAUCE WE HAVE EVER HAD AND FUN CHOCOLATE SUNDAY (SEE VIDEO ATTACHED). ALWAYS WONDERFUL --- WOW One of the best Italian meals we have had since being in Italy. The pasta is fantastic. Firm and the tomato sauce is very bright and yummy. We highly recommend the Pomodoro E Basitico sauce and be sure to get it with the Stracciatella Mozzarella on top. This is an excellent combination of flavors. We like a thicker pasta so we substituted in the pasta from the "Priest Stranglers" dish instead of spaghetti noodles. The noodles from the Priest Stranglers are long thick tubes about 4 inches each and they are a great texture with lots of pasta flavor. That was a great choice. All pasta is made fresh daily. We sat in a booth back by the kitchen and could see how it is all made and set up to be served. They have a great attention to detail and it came out perfect. For apps we had the buffalo cheese and tomatoes which was very creamy and good. Also had the bread with cooked garlic on it. Very good. We had an order of clams as well which was awesome. Be sure to use your bread to dip in the clam drippings. One of the best flavors you will find. Desserts are all homemade. We were so full we had to spilt a chocolate hazelnut panna cotta. They served it with drizzled chocolate. Super Yummy. This place has no sign so be sure you know the address. You need to email them to get a reservation and it is CASH ONLY. This is a spectacular place, loud and lots of fun. It has our highest recommendation. UPDATE ON 9-30 SATURDAY BRUNCH WAS AWESOME. BEST PANCAKES WE HAVE EVER HAD, THIN BUT CRUNCH AND SWEET. VERY GOOD MAPLE SYRUP AS WELL. WE HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THE BEST PANCAKES IN NYC AND THIS IS #1 FOR SURE!!!! Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 36 million views so far this year and we thank you for that. I believe this came recommended, can't fully remember and ultimately it doesn't matter - this place is great. Food is fantastic, the Lemon pasta is stunning and one of the best Italian pasta dishes I've had (including eating at Carbone and Lilia). Service was fantastic, friendly and helpful on recommendations. Coffee was amazing too! Also whilst it's cash only, they have an ATM on the premises

Definitely GO TO SUPPER! The staff really was top notch as they made sure we had the best experience possible. We were looking for late night dinner options in Manhattan and this one did not disappoint! The food was soooo delicious and the service was so kind and accommodating. They made sure we stayed warm. They moved us to a better table. And even though we were seated next to a large, loud engagement party, they made sure we were comfortable and even gave us breaks on drinks and dessert. They were also kind enough to let us pay with a credit card (this restaurant normally is cash only), so I really can't say enough nice things. We stayed until after 1 a.m., and they didn't even rush us out. At the end of the night, we were so happy with everything we took photos with the staff! Kudos to Supper for such a great restaurant experience! We will definitely be back!

What a great experience and wonderful meal. I must say that generally I'm not in the Italian food is the best camp, although I do love much of it. And while I wasn't so sure about Supper, I'm a convert on the highest level. Everything we had blew me away. From the short rib pasta to the wonderful meatballs all was amazing in a cozy and warm atmosphere. Heck I even loved the fennel salad.... So there! I definitely recommend a meal here, as it will not disappoint!

Best Italian food I’ve ever had! Everything was delicious start to finish! We ordered the burrata mozzarella appetizer, roasted chicken, grilled salmon and chicken parmesan entrees and all of it was perfect! Cute intimate venue that feels like home but it’s super classy and high end at the same time. Such a perfect vibe! Pricey but worth every penny. Highly recommend you stop by if you’re in the area!

Wonderful! An intimate space, felt well accommodated for the five of us and looked after. The food was excellent, not a complaint to be found. Unfortunately, we did have a person needing handicap access with us who was unable to use the restroom. It is accessed by a short set of steps through a tight service space leading to a very small restroom. After the meal I felt badly coming back from my stop there knowing they would not be able to use it. When they asked about it they decided to not go at all. And it truly would have been impossible for them short of crawling. I felt terribly for them. So, while an excellent restaurant, be mindful if you are considering going out with anyone needing accessible spaces.

Absolutely the best Italian food I have ever had! This place is the best. Staff are amazing and friendly. The restaurant has multiple funky rooms with a great vibe. The Spaghetti al Limone is incredible. The Cacio el Pepe (pictured) is perfection. Kale salad (pictured) has a kick with Serrano peppers. Tiramisu definitely recommended. Chocolate cake? Hell yeah (pictured). My new favorite restaurant in NYC. Pro tip: bring cash as this is a cash only establishment!

Rich, hearty Italian food — my favorite! Everything we got was delicious, including the complimentary bread and beans. We came on a Sunday so got to try the beet & burrata risotto which had a great flavor. I would order all the same dishes if I went again (cacio e pepe, risotto, gnocchi). The seating was a little cozy, as a heads up.

I lived in NYC when Supper opened nearly 20 years ago, and it became a favorite back then. The neighborhood was very different, but this restaurant has survived. That does not surprise me, because their food is simple, yet delicious. The prices are higher today, of course, but my go-to dish is still on the (Specials) menu--the Veal Milanese--and it is worth every penny. I remember when it was on the original menu, and it read something like "served with a nice little salad," and it still is. The veal is lightly breaded, quickly fried in butter in a pan on the stove (I sat at the bar and watched them make it). It is plated next to the salad, which is indeed simple but a perfect accompaniment, along with half a lemon to squeeze over everything. It's fun to do, and I tend to use every drop. This dish could be a "last meal" dish for me, I love it that much, even well over a decade since I first had it. Also see the photo of the bread with the white beans in oil. Not enough places start with a thoughtful complimentary starter (or anything complementary at all), but they do. And it's tasty. As long as Supper is still around, it's worth me trekking there whenever I visit New York. And one other thing to mention, considering so many places have gone to card-only, this place has stuck to the CASH ONLY format (they have their own ATM in the back).

Our meal was pretty good. The complementary bread with white beans in olive oil was really good. My veal Milanese was kind of plain, and the salad that it came with was very sharp and bitter. Chicken Parmesan was relatively good. Both meat cutlets were extremely thin. Even though I was not blown away, the meal was still pretty good, and I would eat here again to explore their pasta options.

Supper is a really cute northern Italian restaurant. They’re known for their lemon pasta and chicken parm. The staff are super friendly. It’s a big restaurant that can host large parties and has outdoor seating. Make sure to bring lots of cash because it’s cash only, they have an atm in the back too. It’s kind of on the pricey side for Italian food and drinks but still yummy and a good time.

The beet burrata risotto is the best dish I’ve ever had on this planet. Everything is made with such love - you would want to cry when you eat it (I actually did). The service was excellent as well. Best restaurant in New York City hands down!

The place is amazing, if you would like to try real Italian cuisine and have an exceptional service you definitely need to visit them. I really impressed!
