What a quaint restaurant in the Garment District. We had a lunch reservation prior to a Broadway matinee. The interior has a very old European vibe. Service was very professional and attentive. I did think it was odd that they wouldn't serve us the bread until our fourth guest arrived. Al the foo
Amazing! I was there a bit early and caught the staff meeting prepping for dinner. The staff speaking Italian, laughing and having fun was beautiful to hear. I had the Burrata for appetizer, Spinach Ricotta Ravioli, & Affogato for desert. All were excellent & the prices reasonable. Reminded me of
My husband and I wanted to find a nice restaurant to get dinner before a show that was still reasonably priced. This restaurant is an undiscovered gem. The inside is quite small, but that adds to the intimate and classy atmosphere. All servers were kind and very attentive. Food was amazing. It was t
My husband and I stopped in before a concert at Madison square garden. It was quaint! The wine was delicious and the food was good.
Started with the Polpette con Crostini. Amazing ragu and the meatballs were like my Nona’s. My daughter had the Gnocchi Al Ragu and they melted in your mouth! I had the Trennette Al Pesto. Trennette is definitely made fresh and the balance with the basil. Garlic, EVOO and almonds left my palette wis
The staff was extremely nice and accommodating to my egg allergy. Food was great and everybody loved their drinks too
Quite dine-in with good atmosphere. Got the gnocchi, the polpette, and the dessert special - all were delicious. Great service and great food, don't sleep on this place.
A cute little Italian restaurant with lovely food , I walked for ages in Manhattan to find a decent Italian restaurant and this one did not disappoint .. Will definitely come here again on my next visit to NYC
Very good! All waiters speak Italian which adds to the atmosphere! Great wine too 🍷. They make spaghetti noodles from scratch so they taste super good! They even had candles and turned out the lights, it was super awesome! Mercato is a totally radical place to eat! 🤤🍷. So radical dude!
Probably closer to a 4.5 but rounding up to a 5. We came here for dinner before a Broadway show and enjoyed our apps, entrees and dessert! Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. A place always gets bonus points from me for some free bread and this one came with a lentil olive oil dip!
I got the spaghetti and olives dish. Overall a good experience and good food. Not my favorite but I didn’t experience any issues. I don’t think it’s worth the price.
Very good casual Italian restaurant that is open late, midnight! I liked it so much that I went here twice in 2 nights, granted my hotel was very close by. Out of all the things ordered, the best was the pomodoro spaghetti! They also have a great selection of wine. For dessert, tiramisu was just per
Great food and service. The menu and wine list are great too. We dined on Cod , Trapanese pasta & rucola salad. Grazie mille 🍷
We where in NY for a 5 day break from Wales in the UK. I have been to many an Italian restaurant in the UK and all over Italy and I can honestly say their Lasagne was one of the best I've had. Highly recommended if you like a proper restaurant to eat in and not a diner with disposable plates and cut
