Old-school New York City diner in Midtown. After 36 hr fasting for a medical procedure, I needed someplace nearby for a good breakfast and this fit the bill. The omelette wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but since I was starving, it tasted delicious, home fries were good and the bagel with cream cheese
My buddy and I were strolling around looking for a reasonable restaurant to sit down in that wasn’t named Starbucks. We found it. Service was perfect. Never felt rushed but never felt ignored. Prices were what you expect for two breakfast plates, even though I have to imagine their rent in midtown m
The Bacon&Egg sandwich was ok for nyc prices. The pancakes, which were served with salted butter and syrup, however were amazing, besides the price of 16 isch $
Hot chocolate was 3,75$ and was served eith free water.
Sitting outside is rarely available, but I highly recommend it.
Food came out quickly, was delicious and service was great. I had the French toast, not a single complaint! My bacon was crispy just the way I like it and eggs were cooked perfectly. All the staff were very nice and efficient. Coffee was strong and not watered down, perfect.
Did I mention how quick
We came here for brunch today, and the food was great! We ordered the pancake lumberjack with bacon, french toast lumberjack with bacon, country omelette, and Mediterranean omelette. The pancakes were fluffy, and the omelettes and french toast were both good. The portions were large, and the service
Went here for breakfast due to the great reviews and the location to our hotel and it didn't dissapoint. Great food, coffee and service.
Waitstaff is friendly, fast working. Food comes out quickly. Normal diner breakfast fare, nothing spectacular. The best thing here is the friendly service and quick staff. If you are staying in one of the hotels nearby it’s a very good option.
Such a cute little place! When I visited, barely anyone was here. More people should visit. Food was fast and delicious! Service was very nice.
Stopped by at lunchtime on a Saturday. Really crowded, and yet the food came fast and the service was excellent. Really tasty food, simple but flavorful. My Western omelette was perfectly cooked and the proportions of the ingredients was perfect. Excellent breakfast or brunch stop - I’ll be back nex
Traditional American breakfast, food are delicious, and the service is good, but a little expensive. We enter the restaurant at 8:30 am, the seats are almost full. If you want to eat breakfast, try to get up early, it usually queue after 9:00 am.
Really sweet NYC neighborhood Mom & Pop spot. We walked for breakfast after Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral. The food was good, pricey by my small town standards, but it was a fun experience. We got out the door for under 75$ (3 adults). It was loud, fast, and had great coffee. It's New York! Enjoyed
Such a cute little New York Pl., so classic. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch options that are very reasonably priced. It’s very classic dork. Busy fun great for families.
We have finally found our favourite diner. Ultra efficient service and great French Toast. It's so close to Park and Lexington but it has real homely feel to it. We were staying at Lotte New York Palace and this was a five minute stroll.
Really enjoyed our breakfast at the New York Luncheonette. The French Toast was delicious and my eggs were cooked to perfection. The coffee was so-so (hot black and also iced coffee w/ almond milk). I’ve saved this diner to come back for breakfast when visiting NYC.
What a great treat to stop in for a classic diner experience. I found the staff to be quick to accommodate and attentive to our needs. We both had the French Toast and I found it to be delicious. I would highly recommend this place to any one and look forward to when I can return.
