The chicest place in New York City. Delicious food, fabulous ambience and the most stylish crowd. Indochine never disappoints!
From the time it opened , I am a client , love this place , everything about it ! Food , decor , atmosphere, stuff & the crowd
It's a must dinner place for me each time I am in NYC
Beautiful trendy ambiance but food was a bit disappointing. Had the Crispy Red Snapper. It was more crispy and very little red snapper.
Fierces... Love everything about this places you most come to eat, drink and dance in the tables I had the best time!!!
I have been going to Indochine my whole life - I grew up in NYC. It's one of my favorite places in the city. Buy the Indochine book too. The lighting is perfect (Instagram moments!) and the food is yum and the waitstaff have killer style and are all beauties and SWEET AF on top of that. LEGENDARY!!!!!!!
Yummy beautiful fun chic. My home away from home. The cutest staff in New York City. With the best people always dining there I adore Jean marc. ❌⭕️❤
Used to go to Indochine all the time back in the day, started again, love it. Delicious food and great ambiance
This Restaurant is one of the last Gems in New York City...............A must if you have never experienced it.Tranquil, relaxing, beautiful interior.Always outstanding service.I have personally dined here for decades.I actually learned a lot from Indochine, about Fine Dining.
My Favorite restaurant in NYC for over 20 years...Food is excellent and the staff is very chic. Love it xx
Was one of my favs as a young person living in the city back in the 80s and 90s . Nothing not even the green leaf wall decor has changed . Food is superb just as I remember . Was thrilled to be able to share the experience with my daughter while visiting her in NY
My favorite restaurant in ny . The food is beautiful , the staff is beautiful and it has all the history of fashion feels . 🙏🏻

I love Indochine...always have, & always will, as long as it remains the "same as it ever was" .... Back in the day, it was a special find and still maintains it's understated luster of 80's glamour, untouched by technology. THANK GOD!!!
Love the sticky rice with steamed fish in banana leaf with coconut milk. Amazing and it's been on the menu since my first visit in 1980 something....
I'm honored to say that I DJ'd the opening of Indocine. Chi Chi and I have had more great times there than I can count. Over the years it has always been staffed with superstars (including and especially Jean-Marc). I agree with Drew Elliott, Indocine has become a New York institution.
I have been going to Indochine since it opened. It's my favorite restaurant in New York City!
Eccellente servizio qualità cibo da provare assolutamente accoglienza e personale super
My fave spot in NYC! Fab food and ambiance 👌🏼
My favorite restaurant, excellent food and professional, cool staff.
For apps, we had beef salad and rock shrimp both of which were great. There was a good amount of beef in the salad and the greens/dressing worked well together. The shrimps were fried lightly, could've been more crunchier but the accompanying sauce paired well.
For mains, we had shaken beef, which was tender and flavorful. Seems like that's the most popular dish. We also ordered two sides of sticky rice and that was bland and quite disappointing.
We finished it off with a rum cake, which came with ice cream. Not my favorite desert but it was pretty good!
The service is phenomenal, and just being and sitting in the dining room is fun. Food is good too but you’re really here for the drinks and the specialness of the space itself.
A delightful haze
At this restaurant, we were plied with so many cocktails that, honestly, I cannot remember that much about it.
I attended for an all-expenses-paid work-sponsored evening of indulgence, the sort for which maximum alcohol consumption is required in order to ease the nerves.
Stepping across the threshold, I blew a goodbye kiss to my ‘two drinks a week’ rule - knowing that, with the beady eyes of my colleagues upon me, it would be most unseemly not to keep up.
I began with the Indochine Martini; a drink that does have the color of something unmentionable but is, nonetheless, delicious with delightful citrus undertones.
Asked by the waitress whether I would like another, it felt impolite not to opt for The Little Wing - drawn, as I was, by the promise of Bourbon, St Germaine and ginger beer.
Spotting a sudden drought in my glass, the waitress then inquired as to whether another alcoholic beverage would be to my liking. I acquiesced, and asked to see the menu.
Shortly thereafter, out came the ex-girlfriend sounding Lulu May.
I can’t remember anything about this cocktail, unlike my ex, but some of my more alcohol-savvy colleagues report it was delicious and that I gulped it down like a fish out of water.
Preparing to leave, the waitress then asked whether we would need one more for the road. So, there was nothing for it but to request - a Belle du Jour! This cocktail tasted delightful and had a beautiful flush red color - the sort that communicates fertility and vitality.
I stumbled out of this restaurant giggling, laughing and after having had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
And no, none of the cocktails made a re-appearance later that evening. Success!
The Infatuation called the food here average so I came with low expectations, everything we had was good, tasty and layered. Maybe not the best Asian food I had and a bit pricy, but all in all a fun night with good food and cool ambiance. For dessert we got the coffee cake and I didn’t care for the shaved ice coffee served alongside it, other than that no complaints.
Apparently this restaurant has been around for more than 30 years but you wouldn’t be able to tell by walking in here, everything still looks cool and fresh! The ambience here, with iconic wallpaper, lots of greenery, and hip music, gives it a 5/5 stars alone, but the food was also up to par and delicious! They also had one of the best outdoor dining set ups I’ve seen in the city. It’s covered and has heaters. The service was attentive and friendly - As a plus everyone working here is stylish AF so it feels like you’re dining with models (but not in a mean/catty way). This is a great spot for a big group - Especially if you have out-of-towners you need to entertain. Every single dish ordered was enjoyed by our big group, but nothing is a stand out dish. I recommend ordering family style and sharing lots of apps entrées.
Great place with a special vibe. The portions are perfect to share and we enjoyed very much to share a lot of dishes. The waiter was a little bit to cool for us( or we to old for her). Overall a great evening with authentic food .
Had reservations for two indoors at 6:30 on a Sunday.
The decor and vibe are very stylish. The waiter and host were very helpful — the waiter recommended side dishes for us and told us how to pronounce the name of this place (Indo-sheen). The host took pictures of us that turned out great.
The food was delicious. For drinks we ordered the Indochine martini and pomegranate margarita. For appetizers we ordered the kale salad and crab cakes. The salad was a stand out in terms of taste and portion size. For entrees we ordered the duck and crispy red snapper. For dessert we ordered the lemon tart.
All in all, a pricey but memorable experience.
Very delicious food. The crab cakes were incredible although very small and the sticky banana rice dessert was the star of the show. Would go back just for that dessert. The steamed ravioli was decent, the lychee mist got more flavorful as you continued to drink it.
Great service, seating is tight, they don't rush you. Good wine selection, Small wine pours. A couple vegan options, no protein, they could add setain or tofu.
Recommended for a here for a mom’s night out. The food was great although they recommended two entrées and two appetizers for the two of us and we could just done one entrée. The cocktails were great, and it was definitely an adventure.
Had the shaking beef which was excellent. Friends had the pork collar which was also good. Cool take on Vietnamese coffee, good cocktails, and coconut creme brulee to close out a good meal.
The food is so good and the service is amazing. They have a pre theater menu that offers a three course meal for an amazing price. Everything we ordered was delicious
Ambiance and food were a 10/10. Hip crowd. Rice always nice.
Solid spot. I came here for restaurant week and was pleasantly surprised by the selection of food offered on the prix fixe menu. The fried spring rolls were crispy with the right proportion of meat and veggies. Shaking beef was delectable with a touch of chilli that really enhanced the flavor. Lemon tart has the perfect amount of zest. The food was excellent and I plan on coming back.
In terms of the service, our waitress was attentive, barring the fact that she was slow to give us check. In all honesty though, it was a forgivable crime especially given that we were a large group.
