You will definitely need a reservation, as it was quite busy when we arrived! It’s a cute, eclectic and incredibly charming place for afternoon tea. Perfect for families and small children, as the Alice in Wonderland theme is prevalent throughout the restaurant. The tea list is extensive, and the scones were perfectly scrumptious. I’m only providing a 4 star rating, as the service was a little slow.

So incredibly cute and eclectic. Definitely make a reservation as we saw a few turned away or given a 40 minute wait. I love all things Alice in wonderland! We got the mad hatter Tower which says feeds two but it was way more than we could eat. It's a bit pricey at $77 but I've been wanting to try it out for awhile. The Strawberry/Apple scone was very good at well as the chicken lapsang sandwich and stardust tea. The blt had very salty blue cheese and the dessert plate wasn't anything special.

My friend and I came in here for Sunday afternoon tea. We did the full classic tea for two set.
The wait was a little longer than we were expecting- was told we would be seated in 20 but ended up taking around 40 minutes.
Once we got seated, we selected our tea choices, sandwich choices and scone choices. As for the tea, the pots were huge and so cute! We were able to get unlimited selection of tea but because the pot was so large we only really got 3 types of tea each. For the food, the scones were really good- they also had a vegan scone which tasted a little more dry than the other scones. For the sandwiches, I really liked the curry chicken sandwich- it was very flavorful. The bottom layer (of the three layer tea set) was cookies and cake. The cookies and cake were a good variety and the slice of cake was huge.
My personal opinion was that the cake ran on the sweeter side but it could be nice paired with a more bitter tea like black tea. I had a more floral one so maybe that was why it tasted sweet to me.
Overall, I liked this spot as a nice hangout place to just sit and have casual tea. It's definitely a good way to spend a lazy afternoon. I noticed they also have a good selection of brunch menu- including sandwiches, so there's also possibility to order those instead of the full tea and to get tea separately.

Wow, I have been looking desperately for a tea house on the Upper East Side and this little gem was hidden right in front of me! The vibes are immaculate, the tea service is darling and a great value for your dollar and every tastes FANTASTIC! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and I have enjoyed my time here immensely! Will definitely be becoming a regular here!

This was my first time at tea and I absolutely loved it! I went with another person and we had the MadHatter. It came with 2 sandwiches, 3 scones, a additional dessert and unlimited tea for 2. We got the BLT and the smoked salmon for the sandwiches. The BLT was delicious and warm! Loved it. For the scones, we got the Oreo chocolate (loved!), vegan banana (didn’t taste vegan at all so love!), and the pumpkin caramel (loved!). I honestly don’t know which one was my favorite because they were flavorful and not super sweet so they were great. The extra dessert was a mocha chocolate chip cake (other option was a chocolate mousse). The staff was kind and always ready to refill. We were seated upstairs so it was quiet and great to catch up!
Recommended tea:
White Champagne Raspberry - fruity and delicious!

We enjoyed our afternoon tea here. Definitely a place for tea lovers as they offer a good selection and variety to choose from. The pastries and sandwiches came out really good as well. Love the vibe and interiors as well, it feels like you’re in a storybook setting. Nice service as well.

I am always ready for trying a place dedicated to tea time, I came here with my family for the first time, we were visiting from Trinidad&Tobago, I must say I enjoyed this cute little place! I love the Alice in Wonderland theme, I felt whisked away to a fairytale for that moment, I enjoyed the fruity notes of the black tea un-birthday! As well as the delicious treats!

Good tea service, not as traditional as other afternoon teas but still quite good. Recommend the curry (coronation) chicken sandwich. Staff were also very pleasant and polite.

I really like this place it’s got character and a whimsy with a homemade feeling that touches on upscale kinda feel, so that’s what you pay for…
don’t get me wrong the food is good, but because they are busy they have their timing if off. We never got our drinks till after our food and some of it was a bit cold like the crepe and pancakes… still tasty!
so if your someone who’s picky about waiting and food can be served a bit cold over the atmosphere then maybe only go on a non busy time of day to ensure they can give you more attention…
Everyone working is super nice but busy!
We indulged a little bit and got three breakfast foods and shared them pulse a pumpkin scone. Drinks we got Alice’s breakfast yea very mellow… coffee was great!
*Alice’s Bellini was the best!!! Yum!
*The French toast soufflé thing was the best!
We will be back it’s a cute place we will try lunch next time.

We had the Mad Hatter tea for 2 and it was a great experience! The tea was delightful and the scones and sandwiches were delicious. We ended up spending about $100 after the tip which was a bit much at $50 per person but it was a good experience overall.

We had the most delightful tea shop breakfast. My 13 yo daughter has loved Alice and Wonderland for years, so when I found this place on Google it was not a matter of if we would go, but when. Alas, that night they would be closed by the time we got there, so it just had to be our plan for breakfast the next morning. The decor is just right - whimsical without being overplayed. The eclectic teapots and tea cups (with saucers that don't match, of course!) was delightful. The food (we had scones and crepes) was wonderful. Our server was polite, attentive, and pleasant. It was simply delightful.

I booked this place for a bridal shower. Its kind of pricy but so worth it, even with the covid restrictions. The staff was great and made sure everything went smoothly. They had a lot of different tasty tea. The food was good and catered to a wide variety of dietary needs. My personal favorite part was the cocktails. The tweedle-Dee and the white queen were both great. The mango mimosa was everything. I am definitely going here again.

The place was supper adorable! The bust one out of the other locations. Reservations are not required, but I do suggest you make a reservation because at times it could be packed. We had the High Tea for 2. A very extensive tea selection, very hard to pick just 2. And a nice selection of sandwiches and scones for the day. Again, very hard to choose. Would definitely go again!

I had mad hatter which is tea for 2 people with 3 story dishes. I picked buttermilk, pumpkin, chocolate chip for the top rack. Blt and watercress sandwiches for the middle rack. I also try vegan strawberry scone and hummus sandwiches. Those are the best for me. Scones are fresh and good size. With the tea the amount of foods you get is enough. We tried Alice tea, star dust, sparkling champagne. Alice tea is the best. Star dust has a lavender flavor so smells good. Sparkling champagne is also different flavor but very good. Server is very attentive. 2nd floor is more spacious and they have party space for kids.
