Food was fantastic, I love the different the culture mix between Asian and Peruvians dishes. The drinks were great, had the house made lemonade and strawberry lemonade. We went for the Lomo saltado which was amazing. Service was great, I had to stop drinking water because every time I drank from the
No frills Peruvian/Chinese spot. Food was super on point, the Lomo Salteado was super bomb, and shrimp fried rice that I chose as my side was delicious as well. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back
The prices are a bit expensive but the portions are huge!! I got the lomo saltado and it was a massive portion, enough to eat half there and take home the rest. My partner got another dish (forgot the name) and she also could only finish half, taking home the rest. The service is friendly quick and
Been coming here for 20 years! It’s my favorite restaurant in NYC !!! Food is always the best. Anything you order is a hit. This place don’t miss!
The pepper steak and beef fried rice was bomb. Didnt love the fried chicken tho. Not for me. The nutcracker is the way to go
The food was good, not a bad price. Still caught me off guard that the plate of Broccoli was as almost as much as the half chicken. I really like the variety of the menu and the presentation of the food.
My friend and I were grateful that this place was open on Christmas, but the restaurant was col
Food was good portion for price but nothing to rave about.Disappointed to have ordered yucca fries and garlic sauce was just minced garlic from a jar.Not fresh.Veggies in rice were cooked well & fresh except the mushrooms.Waiter was nice but stretched too far for the whole restaurant.Had to wait awh
Went for afternoon early dinner food was divine!!!+ ropa Vieja was like your abuela made it the cilantro rice...ummmm
The pork chops were perfect and were beautiful
Haven't been here in many years. My favorite was the steak sandwich and they dont serve it anymore. Ordered a few Nutcrackers, chicharron de Pollo and some yuca frita. Food was great, drinks really really strong. Great mix of Peruvian and Asian cuisine. This place is still very unique.
This is my favorite restaurant in NYC…which may sound crazy because there are a lot. Service is fast and friendly, they remember me and some of the staff have worked here for a long long time. Stories of famous nights out in NYC include this place. OG and very strong Nutcrackers 🥜 🌰
I ate a whole rotisserie chicken with yellow rice at Flor de Mayo.
Scrumptious! Delicious! Amazing! Finger licking good! Need I say more?
The waiters made sure my cup of water with ice stayed filled to the rim.
I can't wait to return to this Chinese-Peruvian Restaurant.
Awesome food and the atmosphere, the place is just such a legend
my favorite place to eat tallarines verdes.. it is so delicious, I love it. it was the first time that I tried the chicken, it was so good.. definitely I will come back again. The service was so good, the servers were nice and kind. the atmosphere was nice..
My first time at Flor de Mayo! Came here on a Sunday night for takeout with my family. Service was spectacular in my opinion as the hostess gave me ample time to look over the menu. I didn’t feel rushed at all though a line was forming.
The food was sensational and I will ABSOLUTELY be back back ag
It's always busy and today a fun atmosphere! The food and service are excellent, we had a great time!
One of my favorite places to go eat the food was good and the service was great. But I must say that it's not the same as I remember it.
Overall, it is a good place to eat for many people on a budget.
The service I will say is phenomenal. They are quick to sit you and take your order. They come around and check several times and will keep your water cups filled. Excellent in explaining what is served and also understand Spanish ve
Loved the place. The service was excellent..especially attentive wait staff.
The food though is what people go there for and it did not dissappoint. A blend of Chinese and Spanish influences and tasty...creatively executed and presented. I would definitely go back there!!
Food is rather good and inexpensive, portions are large and service is good and fast. Appetizer papas arequipena was interesting and tasty. While the tallarin verde with carne salteado was great, kung pao was mediocre at best, which is why this is a 4 star review.
