Everything was great there. Pleasant vibes, friendly service. Cheeseburger tasted really good. Also this place is just really interesting, because of its history, it's been open since 1892. And they have historic urinals as well!
A perfect pub experience.
Once you walk through the doors, I realized I found something rare - an authentic NYC pub, unblemished and perfect.
I had the Bison Burger, no cheese and all the other toppings with onion rings and a Guinness Stout. Maybe not the most adventurous, but it was the best b
One of the oldest bars in the City with probably the best wings we’ve had in a long time. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient with drinks and the food.
Oh boy, this bar is so cute! It's a family business running for 130 years. Staff are so nice. I didn't get food but the food elevator was so cute! Nice vibe!
I went with friends to grab a beer while we cold down from the heat—super calm and old bar. As soon I opened the door, I felt I returned on time. Even the cash register was old and impressive. The women's bathroom is on the second floor. We didn't eat, so I don't know how the food is.
It’s tucked away (for NYC, that is), so on a recommendation from someone back home in Australia, we sought out Old Town Bar. The atmosphere is great - it’s a really cute venue. We got martinis just because (they were good!), and then I saw the plates of wings and thought why not give it a go? The bu
I am very picky with bae foods but Chicken wings is really good here! The bar tenders are gold! They know how to interact and knows when you refill your drinks without asking you! Like keep it coming until we drop! They are the best bartenders! Give them a raise! 👏
I will definitely go back and reco
A random stop in before seeing Titanique nearby. Neat history, old New York vibe that feels real because it is. They were slammed, but the service was friendly and still fairly decent, considering again, they were slammed. We split a plain burger and cup of house chili. Verdict on chili - REALLY del
Went here for the first time and the ambiance is unbeatable. The bartender, Brian, was so lovely and almost intuitive with whatever you wanted. I tried a new whiskey and it was perfect.
Patrons are friendly and open and the conversation is lively. It makes one feel like they are most definitely at
Went in on Friday evening when everything was booked everywhere, luckily found this place which had availability for table of 4 in the dining room on 2nd floor. They didn't have much options for cocktail that evening or for some reason some were not available not sure. Got kamikaze shots for $10 eac
Always my go to bar when I’m out with friends. Service is top notch, they’ll find you a table and order your drink asap, no matter how packed it is. They decorate at Christmas. A fun time all around.
Old Town was a place unchanged from when I used to go regularly 30 years ago, and almost certainly for the 30, 60 years before that. A beautiful traditional city pub, with the dark wood and pressed tin ceiling. The drinks are relatively expensive, although the beer selection is good, and the atmosp
Great place to go when an Old Town the food and the drinks are excellent the service is excellent and the urinals are huge 😂
I was in town on vacation with a friend, exploring various parts of Manhattan. For dinners, we were stopping at a pub close by to wherever we were around dinner time, and we chose this place one night. I honestly don't remember what I ate, but I do remember liking it, and the service being exception
Comfortable, cool atmosphere. Bathroom could use to be cleaned. At opening time, it shouldn't be so icky. The service was ok. Server took our order but never came to check how things were. My husband's turkey Ruben was excellent. Best ever, truly. The potato salad was really good. The corn soup was
This is a great historic bar and vies for the title of one of the oldest bars in Manhattan. Not only is this place historically in tact with its original high ceilings, long bar, and the oldest dumbwaiter in the city, it was the site of the 1992 music video Jump Around by House of Pain and was in th
