Great place, casual easy neighborhood place. Eat a real meal or a nibble. No rush. And gotta lovTony.
Happening place, great food, pleasant and very polite staff... Proprietor oversees that every detail is addressed. He roams the room stopping and greeting his many very loyal patrons..
If you are visiting NYC, and want the real NYC experience of how the locals live and enjoy, this is the place...
Wonderful steak and very good house Cab. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were delicious.

A few of us had a girls night out for NYC Restaurant Week. This restaurant sounded good and it was!
My husband and I chose this restaurant because it is completely nut free (my husband has allergies). The burgers were phenomenal! I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends! The wait staff were extremely friendly too!
Great place. I enjoyed drinking my exotic Cosmo in such a lovely, relaxed lounge atmosphere!
We recently visited the T Bar Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant is an upscale contemporary modern restaurant highlighting steaks. As you walk into the restaurant, the bar is immediately to your right and dining room to your left and a san additional dining a step up in the back. I ordered the Lamb Burger with fries which was wonderful, but pricey. My next visit will be for a steak dinner.
I have been to this restaurant several times recently and have never been disappointed. Bar menu and tuna are terrific. Great with a date.

A very nice dinner. I went to T-Bar Steak and Lounge for the first time on Valentine's Day. My boyfriend had been there before because he lives in the area, but I'd never been. I was really looking forward to it because he's always raving about this place, about how he takes his clients there for lunch or his parents there when they visit for dinner.
So we went in and it was such a cool atmosphere! I don't know if they have candles like that all the time or not, but it was so beautiful when we went there later in the night. The hostess was SO NICE! She recognized my boyfriend and took us to this super romantic table and we didn't even have to ask!
Anyway, the food was great. I had the tuna tartar and it was literally the best tuna tartar I've had since my trip to Japan three years ago. Then I had the vegetarian rissoto and my boyfriend had a steak. I don't really eat meat at all, so I was worried when he told me that this place was a steakhouse, but there really were a lot of options (considering). The best part, though, was the dessert! We shared the *famous* banana parfait. Even though i was full from dinner I seriously could not stop eating that thing! hehe!
In all, it was great experience and a great dinner and I know I'll be making the trip uptown more often because this place! :)
Really nice. We sat at the bar and had cocktails, the crispy oysters and margita pizza. Drinks were great! Food was good. Bit pricey

This place definitely deserves 10* the food is beyond and I’m talking about Steaks and Tuna Tartar.
The best Tuna Tartar I have ever tasted was Here!!! That combination of the flavors,texture,smell it was beyond.
Ribeye it was speechless, he was basically melting in my mouth with a tons of the flavors.

Their menu was innovative and delicious and the decor was refined and calming. Most importantly they were able to create a beautiful meal for my child with allergies, which means more than words can say.
I went here for restaurant week and it was great. Buzzing steak restaurant, and the portions were a good size. I love garlic and found the roasted whole garlic bulb that came with the steak was a very good accompaniment. I had meatballs for my starter and these were very good sized juicy meatballs. There were probably 4 of them too, making it a hearty starter. Desserts were a bit on the sweet side but the bananas on the creme brulee was very tasty. I thought they'd be close to banana chips, but these were way better. You could tell there were made from fresh bananas with all the flavor and they were able to get them to crunch for texture too!
The restaurant is lively and has outdoor seating on the Upper East Side. The food is quite good and my steak was cooked exactly as ordered. This is a casual restaurant so you don't need to wear a tie and jacket. Plenty of people in shorts and t-shirts. The dessert and sides were fine. Took off one star because we had an 8pm reservation and they seated us 20 minutes late.
Overall, pretty good experience albeit with a slow start.
Rate the decor and ambience highly, they’ve done a great job, has a nice vibe.
Food was 5 stars. Good bread service, nice wine even by the glass. Got the octopus which was well prepared. Steak for entree, again nicely done and seasoned right.
Service was extremely slow but they did make up for it with a complimentary dessert and an apology (which we appreciated greatly).
Will go back for sure. Recommended.
Great food, but very very expensive and with good but not amazing service. Quite a loud raucous table behind us who kind of ruined the atmosphere, but that's not the restaurants fault. The crispy duck was AMAZING. Highly recommend.

I was invited to TBar Steak & Lounge to check out their food. Yasss! It's a classic steakhouse with inventive American Nouveau options. The restaurant opened in 2007 which comes through in the decor. Once inside you will get the feel of a true NYC throwback that's a staple on the UES. The place was poppin' by 7:30pm. If you want to watch some sports, you can do it at the bar. It's a wonderful vibe!
I ordered the filet mignon, cause if I'm in a steakhouse, I'm going for it. I paired it with Célange Rosé Luxe, a Crémant from Bourgogne. The steak came with three different sauce choices..the meat was so good, I skipped the sauce. My side was a baked potato, complete with bacon bits. My guest went for the Irish Salmon. The food was great! Hugh portions. Pretty good wine list, plus some classic cocktails. There are plenty of healthy selections on the menu as well for those who want a salad or would rather rock a turkey burger than steak or chicken. I'll definitely be going back. See you there! Great food, great staff, great bar. Busy bar scene with dinner tables, quieter dinner option best in back. Amazing olive bread served too.
Everything was delicious! NY strip was cooked to perfection. The rice balls were amazing. Ordered a burger to go and had it the next day. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back here again.
Hands down one of the best restaurants in NYC. Everything from the ambience to the service and quality of food was *chef’s kiss.
Ordered the sushi appetizer to start and I had to force myself to stop otherwise I wouldn’t have room for the main course. As for as the steak- 12/10. Cooked to perfection. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommended and I can’t wait to go back.
The restaurant is exlante service because we ask if you guys have available jobs they yes and the chef give me the paperwork to filling out the people is nice and chef to God blessed them and we hope we have the job 💞🙏

Went with my wife for our 1st wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience! The service was fantastic and attentive. Highly recommend ordering the New York Strip. The atmosphere was great, we will definitely be going back.
TBar continues to be our all-time favorite choice in NYC. Consistent and non-fussy EXCELLENCE. We love it!
I have to say this restaurant is in a class by itself. Vibe is definitely warm but yet still elegant. The food and the service is impeccable. Definitely a place that I go weekly. If you want a good place to eat and or just hang out with friends or your significant other come here, you won't be disappointed.
Had dinner at the bar. Excellent NY Strip and sautéed spinach. I will return.
