Peacefood Cafe - New York City - Photo album

This was some of the best vegan food I've ever had in my life, by far. The restaurant was clean and quiet, the server was super friendly, the food came out fast (even though it was busy during lunch), and the food tasted outstanding. Finding vegan food at this level of skill and flavor is really rar
SO YUMMY! The burger and fries was crazy, plantain lasagna also so so yummy. Definitely want to come back. Thought this was more cafe vibes but its a nice mix of cafe and restaurant. Service 10/10. Food is whole and healthy and delicious. Cant wait to come back.
Cute vegan spot near Union Square. I tried out their vegan crab cakes and my friend tried their teriyaki cutlet, both of which were delicious! Not to mention, the cook staff NAILED the presentation of each. For dessert, I personally liked the banana bread best, but wished that the banana had been m
Super cozy place! We just came for cakes and a tea and the service was very friendly too! We got two strawberry cheesecakes! They tasted good but were a little too sweet for us. Would come back though and maybe try something else :)
Peacefood always hits. I'm not vegan but I keep coming back. Normally I'd go for the chick'n and waffles (I can't get enough), but I branched out today and went for the pumpkin cashew quiche. It was denser, drier, and softer than egg quiches so not necessarily what you'd expect, but it was nicely s
Unique take on vegan food. They have unique items in their menu. We tried the Lasagna, vegan burger and the macho nachos. All of them were good. The staff was very friendly as well. Would come again to try out the remaining items in the menu.
It’s a great place for Vegan options. I especially like that they have Vegan desserts. Ginger Tumeric Latte is also wonderful. Chickpea fries is interesting. The Soups are always good! I would recommend this place for Vegan lovers.
Great restaurant, a little bit on a fancier side but the atmosphere was very friendly, we felt taken care of, we were asked if we enjoyed the meals, they informed us about today’s special offer etc. Food was great, with a homey feeling! Portions were huge, we unfortunately didn’t eat any dessert bec
Amazing vegan place. The staff are sooo kind and professional, it’s actually the best restaurant service we’ve experienced in NYC! For the food we only tried the tiramisu and NY style vegan cheesecake and both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for both the excellent service and
6.5 Pom Pom mushroom curry was really good, didn’t know mushroom could taste like that (standout). Shanghai dumplings solid. Lasagna ok but not my fav.
I'm very confident about giving this place a 5-star rating! 1- Food: Food was absolutely delicious and healthy and innovative! 2- Vibe: The environment is great, pretty calm and relaxing! Perfect for gatherings and talking, I came here with a huge group but also great for a date. 3- Pricing: Very
Absolutely amazing vegan spot close to Union Square. Went there for a late lunch on a Saturday. The miso dumplings soup and the burger were excellent. Loved the dessert, we tried the almond muffin and the mini chocolate brownies, both were very good. Love their warm and cozy atmosphere and friendly
We literally fell upon this place, and if I'm ever down in that area again, IT WILL BE MY GO-TO PLACE !!! Food was so good, so fresh, and the prices were "normal", not expensive. I had the Japanese Pumpkin Sandwich, which came with a side of amazingly marinated hickama "fries" , perfect portions! -
I'm a picky, long time veg eater from nyc, so I know some of the best restaurants on the East coast. This is one of them. Went again last night and was blown away by the balance of complex flavors, texture, and nutrition. Plating and environment were excellent. I got crab cakes and turmeric/ginger/o
Great causal place. Brunch options are nice. That bread dough 😉..... You can tell they are baking everything well in house. The burger was good, Fries are crisp, the chicken tenders were very good. Over all tasty. The strawberry short cake was good but it seemed like more of a biscuit than cake.
Wow this is probably one of the best raw sushi I’ve ever had , i thought it was radish at the beginning turns out it’s actually pear , and I don’t know how they use to make the vegan tuna but it tastes amazing :) totally love it
I've been to Peacefood in both locations several times over the years and the food is consistent! I love the chickpea fries! This time I got the half salad and soup combo with the other Caesar salad and the soup of the day was broccoli cheddar!! Soooo yummy AND VERY filling! Staff was very attentive
