Awesome Ice Cream Parlor, with a pretty decent Menu Options. Various flavors & the Vegan Menu is HIGH QUALITY & Delicious. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Standard Ice & Vegan Ice Cream. Also the Staff was very very helpful and the samples to find the perfect FLAVOR & the patients they have, INCREDIBLE!!! 20 OUT OF 10
A good place to cool off the muggy day. Van Leeuwen has great ice cream. I got my root beer float today, so smooth and cool off my day.
Pretty good and cozy environment. The servers were nice and friendly. I got the cup of dirt sundae there for a limited time and it was amazing. Definitely will go there again to try some more flavors.
I was in the mood for something sweet. On my way to a bar with some friends I saw this place out the corner of my eye.

When I was researching vegan places in NYC, I immediately knew I need to hit up Van Leeuwen after reading reviews about the vegan ice cream. It didn't disappoint, I went for most unique flavor, Planet Earth. An amazing mix of fruity, creamy, and cake-y, it was so delicious that two scoops was almost not enough even with it being 40 degrees outside. Definitely need to try more flavors in the future.
Nice old fashion place, the pistacho Ice cream it’s awesome!!! I’m not to fan of the mixed flavors, but if you like it … they have it!! Size and flavor worthy what you pay that is average price for ice cream in NYC
Cute ice cream shop near St Marks place. The staff recommended Honeycomb, combined with the Brown Sugar Walnut Cookie Dough, it’s a perfect match! They also have Vegan options, don’t hesitate to ask staffs’ recommendation when you stop by.
Forever my favorite ice cream place in the city, as they truly do justice to the pistachio flavor! Not an ounce of that artificial, distinct almond extract taste that 'pistachio' flavored sweets usually have. It's nutty and rich and creamy in all the right proportions. My typical order is one scoop each of pistachio and earl grey, which balance each other out perfectly. They also have a bunch of limited time flavors/collabs (affogato with BIGFACE is fantastic), and I always wish I leave more space after meals to justify an additional scoop :').
Got a small honeycomb which rang up to $7.50. Not sure if it’s worth it. It was too sweet for my taste and I wished I got a different flavor. Nice place and location. Quality of ice cream was great.

I got the Keith Haring pride month flavor- Passion Fruit Berry Pop and it was the perfect balance of tangy and sweet! Happy it’s here till 8/31/23 or while supplies last! According to an article on NOSH, a portion of proceeds from sales during Pride month in June will be donated to The Center, a resource hub for the LGBTQ+ community.
also super groovy vegan options, they taste just as good as the normal options :)
