We had an outstanding dinner. The plat du fromage appetizer was plenty of cheese for the four of us to share. The chicken crepe, steak frites, chicken cordon Bleu and duck breast were all prepared excellently. The Belvedere and Tito’s martinis were excellent along with the Cotes de Rhône. And for NYC very reasonable. I must also mention the outstanding server. He was the best. If you are in Manhattan this is a must for dining.
Was in NYC on business and happened to walk along 44th Street and noticed a very interesting restaurant, so I ducked in for breakfast. It was Un Deux Trois! What a fantastic experience! What a treat to find such wonderful breakfast offerings on the menu. The food was outstanding, the coffee was perfect and the service was second to none. I will make it a point to eat at Un Deux Trois again soon.
Quite possibly the best coffee I've tasted. The
Boeuf bourgignon was delectable. Soupe a l'oignon and escargots were excellent.
My friends had the foie de veau and said it was delicious. Great atmosphere and even got to see Michael Moore outside the window signing autographs. I would definitely recommend and eat here again.
This is a regular stop whenever I’m in the City. I usually go before a show for an appetizer and frequently return later for dinner. It’s a wonderful place to spot celebrities and the owner , Gerard frequently stops by the tables to say hello.
You can’t go wrong on the menu! Enjoy!
I was visiting the city with a friend who had been to the restaurant several times on previous visits. It was on her list of places to dine and I was impressed!! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and engaging and The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Cafe Un Deux Trois will definitely be on my dining list on my next visit to New York and I will definitely recommend it!
I can’t think of a better place to get a good meal and fast efficient service before you see a show, the Prix Fixe menu at $37 and three courses is a great value.
As it was years ago, still amazing. Intimate, friendly and competent service and good food. Comfortable atmosphere lends itself to just "chillin'" on a Saturday morning. .my go to place on my rare NY trips.
My first time here, went to a show afterwards. Conveniently located in the theatre district! I had steak Frites, lobster bisque and chocolate mousse - all were excellent! Would definitely return and recommend highly.
Mais oui! Fantastique! The food was wonderful. The atmosphere lively. The service attentive. Take as long as you like, but they are geared towards the theatre crowd.
Love the ambiance, the people who run it and work there, the food, everything, great room
On Christmas Eve we stopped to have dinner at this restaurant. Very nice atmosphere. Beautiful Christmas decor. Tasty food.
We had pâté for appetizer, it was alright. Very thin and dry slice. Wasn’t impressed with it at all. Could be a lot better for French restaurant.
We had Steak and salmon for dinner it was tasty.
Very friendly owner was browsing around the restaurant offering drinks on him. We don’t drink alcohol so we didn’t order any. But it was a nice gesture. Merci!
The Nutella 🌰 🍫 crêpes 🥞 we’re DELICIOUS! I recommend requesting they add banana 🍌 on top. So good! It wasn’t too crowded at 9 in the morning. Service was very quick and food was amazing! ☕️
Went with my wife for breakfast. I had Norwegian eggs benedict(eggs benedict with salmon). She had french toasts. The eggs benedict were excellent, and the salmon was fresh and blended well with the eggs. My wife mentioned that the french tissts were fluffy and had a fine texture, which she liked a lot. In summary, we had a dining experience. The service was prompt and curteous. Finally, the price was reasonable considering the quality of the food.
Staff was very welcoming.
Salad was small and nothing that special.
I love Beef Bourguignon but this was nothing special. the potatoes and vegetables were very good , was still enjoyable in the end .
Will happily come back but will try something else .
beautifully decorated cafe to catch up with friends. service was spectacular and vibes were immaculate.
we weren’t very hungry so our group of 3 just shared a charcuterie board. will most definitely come back to try more of their food— the quality of the meat was amazing.
highly recommend for a little taste of france in nyc ✨
We had a pre-theatre lunch celebrating our granddaughter's birthday. Although we made a reservation, I think they would have eventually seated us anyway. The place is quite large. In the middle of the Broadway theatre district, Cafe Un Deux Trois has been expertly serving French bistro fare for decades. Quiche, steak frites, croque monsieur, and liver and onions all were quite good and served promptly. The creme brulee was excellent with a very thick sugar crackling. The room is cavernous. Despite the large number of people seated at tables, the noise level did not prevent us from conversing. As a popular NYC restaurant the cafe has prices in line with others in the area. We did not have drinks or wine and ordered only one dessert shared by the six of us, and the price was more than $50 a person. The bathrooms are down a flight of stairs. The wine list has some good selections, but as usual the cost will add substantially to your bill.
Love this spot! I stayed at the Hyatt Centric on 45 so it was an easy walk over. Lunch is much more fun if you get there early before the gangs of Ladies Who Lunch shoe up!
Shout out to my waiter, Wolfgang, he took great care of me
Great service, food was delish, nicely decorated for Christmas. Really enjoyed our visit here!
Really good lunch after a Broadway matinee. For appetizer I had the French onion soup. My main course was the boeuf bourguignon. Both dishes were great.
Proper, French, food, thankfully!
Everything was DELICIOUS.
Crème brûlée 💖
Serving size is bigger than the French norm...
Nice spot in mid-town for a casual lunch. Attentive service and a good menu with a representative list of French dishes. Feel free to linger over a glass of wine and enjoy the respite from the craziness of midtown. The food is well prepared and thoughtfully presented. You have lots of choices in this part of town but this should not be.missed.
We had the best experience at this restaurant. We went there on a Saturday night (11/25/23). The atmosphere was great and our server Alejandro was pleasant and attentive! The maitre'd also came by our table to check on us! The food was excellent, and make sure you don't miss the crepes, grilled salmon, and the raspberry/ mango sorbet!! A night to remember! THANK YOU!!!
Last brunch in NYC here - it's an older place and we loved the old style decoration and feel. Staff was really nice and we got our food pretty quickly despite them being pretty busy. Bathrooms are clean, but down a flight of stairs for those with accessibility issues.
Quiche it is!
The complimentary bread was warm and hearty, and had a few thin sliced crispy bits too. Always a good sign. The service was prompt and my family liked everything they ordered.
The quiche was our favorite- rich but not heavy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The crepes and the lobster bisque were closer to 3-stars. The mousse was 4-star and the crème brûlée was a 3.5.
Ivan was an attentive server. To counter frugal tourists it seems, the check already had 20% gratuity added. We enjoyed our meal and recommend this place for a quick bite.
It's a NYC fav for me - made sure to be here for "late risers menu" which includes my go to, Crepe Classique - yum! C'est delicieux.
Nice French restaurant to enjoy before your play starts. There are crayons and paper placemats which I found myself doodling on (and gets kids off their phones). We also had the creme brulee which was excellent and large, perfect for sharing.
