This restaurant is a true gem! My cousin and I had a Groupon for oysters and vino. We went in thinking we would use the Groupon and go, however we both fell in love. The food is unbelievable and the staff are kind and make you feel right at home. If you are looking for authentic Sicilian food this place is for you! I brought my entire family back to experience this place and they loved it as well. I highly recommend the Red Beet Gnocchi and the Norma pizza! I will definitely be back and can't wait to share this restaurant with more people!

Unless you live in certain parts of Italy, no one serves delicious. large pasta dishes for $13--and in Manhattan? In addition, the place is charming and cozy, the staff is extremely attentive and there are many special bargain offers on most days. The fusilli with shrimp/pesto/almonds, etc; the seafood squid ink linguine and wild boar ragu over gnocchi are all superb. If lived nearby, I would never bother cooking if I could eat this food at these prices. Non pasta dishes are also excellent and the wine selection is very good and reasonably priced. Note--cash or AMEX only.

Anna and I went here are a recommendation. To say that we were beyond delighted with the atmosphere, service and the fantastic food would be an understatement. We both had the fettucine with zucchini and goat cheese...unbelievably great Fabrezio was delightful and very accommodating. We will be frequenting this establishment for many years to come.

This restaurant took me back home to my mother's cooking. The cacio e pepe is to die for and finally I have found a place in New York that knows how to make a proper Arancini. So so happy right now

Had such a great dinner here! Loved the $55 family style dinner that included unlimited wine! You get all the family style starters which were a great size & 2 choices of family style platters. We loved the penne vodka & margherita pizza! Highly recommend this spot for a pre going out dinner!!

I really liked this cozy small restaurant with plenty of seating. The menu had too many cheesy options though and even my friend said her eggplant parmesan had so much cheese she couldn't finish it. I was looking for a healthier option and that was only the salmon and the cod... except they ran out of cod! My salmon was good though. Quite tasty. Would have preferred for it to be 3 to 5 dollars less though 😅

This place serves favorite Sicilian dishes and they don’t disappoint. This place had an outdoor dining set up even before the pandemic. We came here for early dinner and were conveniently seated outdoors. The menu is one page and very easy to understand. Upon seating, our server gave us homemade bread and olive oil while we dawdled on the menu. We started with a bottle of Italian Pinot Grigio and a plateful of calamari fritti, we always order calamari wherever we can. Their calamari was freshly made and delicious it's pretty competitive. For the main entree, we decided to share 12 inches of Diavola pizza; mozzarella fior de latte, tomato sauce and spicy salame and pappardelle ala Bolognese; fresh homemade pappardelle with traditional Italian beef ragu. The portion is perfect for sharing, the pizza almost took over our table with its size. We then shared tiramisu served in a jar, we thought that was cute and also delicious. We left the place fully satisfied. We enjoyed every dish that we ordered, we love the fastness of the service we don’t feel that we are being rushed. Awesome customer service, good value. This place is a must-try!

This is true Italian cuisine! We came for my best friends birthday who was visiting NY and she came for their famous volcano pasta dish (pic below) and I tried their pasta dish which was delicious! The server came with a giant cheese bowl and swirled my handmade pasta in it. It was delicious! Literally the best Italian I've ever had. I recommend and will come back! Oh and great wine list! I had a gavi it was delicious and paired well with my dish

My friends and I loved this restaurant during our girls trip. They were very friendly and the food was amazing. We got the fettuccine ragú and penne vodka with burrata and both were amazing. It was also a great price, especially for the city. I accidentally bumped my glass and spilled red wine on my favorite pair of light wash jeans and they were extremely helpful and kind. They gave me some soda water and a towel and went the extra mile to help me out which eased my anxiety. They also brought out complimentary limoncello for after dinner. The table next to us celebrated a birthday and they had a huge sparking candle, which would be fun for a special occasion. I rarely write reviews, but I had to give them five stars as they were so friendly and sweet with amazing food as well. Overall great experience and will be returning for sure.

Cacio e Vino is FANTASTIC ! The waitstaff are so warm and kind, they gave us a birthday cake for our friends that we didn’t even request ahead of time :,) much better deal for bottomless brunch in the east village than I’ve experienced, and the food is delicious!

This is a chill place to enjoy delicious and authentic Italian food. The polpo alla griglio (octopus) is my favorite octopus dish ever. The complimentary bread and dip are really good. Humble atmosphere, perfetto food. And the staff and clientele are very international and cool and friendly.

Had the Rigatoni alla Norma (ok but nothing special, wouldn't order again) and the paparadelle bolognese (excellent). The complimentary bread with tomato sauce is also excellent.

The overall vibe of Cacio e Vino is really nice - we went on an evening with nice weather and the whole restaurant was open-air with candles and low lighting that made it feel really trendy and intimate. The pizza is also surprisingly tasty! We were a little bit spooked by their lack of online presence, but we were pretty happy with the actual experience of dining here.

I went for dinner and drinks with a couple of friends last week and it was great. The wine was very good, and so were the pizza, salad, and bruschetta (as seen in the photo). The menu is well-rounded and the service is awesome. Definitely going back there again soon!

The service and the food were both world-class. I'm Italian and I absolutely love Italian Cuisine. That being said, I can usually tell when the food isn't authentic. m Everything was on-point. Francesco my server was friendly and very helpful. I will come back soon for the pizza night! ....and wow get that Fuc.....Tiramisù!

I LIVE for that unlimited free bread you get at Italian restaurants 🤩 Seafood tagliatelle nice and fresh though I'm not cultured enough to appreciate pasta that isn't super ultra soft pro max. Prosciutto mozzarella arugula pizza was kinda like a salad on pizza but it was not bad. BUT THAT FREE BREAD THOUGH!! IT COMES WITH SUN DRIED TOMATO-OLIVE OIL DIP 🤤

Unfortunately this great restaurant has closed. It’s very sad. They lost their brick oven due to new regulations and the rent was too high. I will miss them
