It was a wonderful experience. My husband and I visited during NYC restaurant week for our wedding anniversary. We arrived 1/2 hour before our reservation and were seated right away. After that we were given 2 glasses of proseco to celebrate our night (while making the reservation I mentioned it was a special night and they listened). The service was phenomenal. Our server Andres was thoughtful, pleasant, and made sure our night was perfect. The food was unbelievable. First time I have ever eaten lamp chops and according to my husband, who tried my dish, I am spoiled because I will probably never have them that great again. Overall a wonderful dining experience! Thank you for making it so memorable!
Everyone was so friendly and kind beginning as soon as we walked in the door! A first class experience all the way around- great food, cocktails, & staff!
Everyone had clearly picked up on the fact that it was our anniversary and we were given that slightly more special treatment as a result.
Food was excellent and thankfully we declined dessert as we were later given a celebration cake to share at the end of the meal.
Not a cheap night out but definitely a god place to chose for a more special occasion.

Sadly Summer 2018, Mamo Restaurant, a Soho restaurant celebrating the flavors of Italy, had to close its doors after a fire. They made a comeback just in time for the 2018 holiday season. I was invited back to again sample their fare that I so enjoyed on my original visit.
Located in Soho, Mamo NYC is the outpost of Mamo Le Michelangelo, a restaurant in Antibes, a city in the French Riviera. Dock your yacht on West Broadway and step into the dulcet tones of Mamo’s soothing white washed walls and crown molding accents. An Italian restaurant with Provencal overtones, owner Mike Mammoliti has commissioned Chef Massimo Sola, the former executive chef at Eataly in Rome, as well as the one Michelin starred restaurant Ristorante Quattri Mori. Buzz around Mamo, which opened in May of 2015, stems from the celebrity hot spot Mamo de Michelangelo in Antibes. What the Soho location lacks in waterfront property it more than makes up for in ambiance, which is so much of the appeal of an environment that conjures the aire of vacation.

Mamo is an Upscale Italian restaurant with its heritage coming from Antibes, I stumbled onto their burger on instagram and it was a foie filled and truffle covered amazingness. I went with 4 friends and we ordered a great spread; for entrée we got the prosciutto, truffle pizza and their truffle ravioli and for mains we’d decided to go with the burger, veal milanese and their sea bream.
loved the octopus! the ambiance was very classy yet trendy. the food was very authentic and I would definitely recommend to anyone in town looking for great Italian food.
I reserved a table of 14 for my birthday dinner and it was an overall great experience! The booking process was easy with Leslie who was able to answer all my questions promptly and the service upon arrival was super attentive which I appreciated.
Every dish was delightful but my highlight was the truffle pizza & the desserts. I will definitely be coming back here to try more things on the menu!
This restaurant delivered the goods. The staff were friendly and very charming and professional. The food was innovative and absolutely delicious. The décor was fresh and the atmosphere was relaxing. We had a fabulous dining experience and will definitely be returning soon.
Wonderful spot for a nice night out in town. Classic and refined Italian restaurant. They have a lot of options so everyone can find something they enjoy. We started off with mango drinks and it was extremely balanced. Appetizers were the truffle fries and a Margherita pie. As you can see you get a heaping pile of truffle. For entrees we got the gnocchi and the cacio e pepe. Everything was amazing. We finished the meal off with a tiramisu. It was rich, thick and creamy. Service was excellent. Staff was extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The decor was amazing too. Old school cinema posters adorned the walls and mirrors to reflect. Will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu.
I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Mamo in SoHo. There are two floors. We were upstairs with a scenic dining room decorated with beautiful old giant movie posters. The pizza with truffles as well as the pasta all’amatriciana were amazing.
Absolutely excellent! Great service and delicious offerings. All the staff were wonderful, particularly our server, Ivan. He recommended many great dishes/desserts for us and was extremely pleasant overall.
We went with the burrata special appetizer, the fettuccini pesto/sausage dinner special, and the chicken with vegetables. We finished off with the creme brûlée with berries.
Highly highly recommend.
Charming restaurant in Soho perfect for lunch and dinner. Sat outside for a lunch date, which was great to watch the NYC streets in their perfect location. The interior ambiance is captivating with its cool nostalgic decor.
Food was divine and the service made it even better. Our waiter was soo pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to my next time here!
One of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city, centrally located in soho. Get ready for a grand old time and really fun staff. Great for birthdays or aniversaries. The Negronis are to die for, list of wine is really good. The truffle ravioli are bolognese were my favorite.
This restaurant is a very elegant atmosphere, the server Ivan was very kind. He was very professional and helpful. This restaurant had great food, absolutely loved the truffle pizza. Highly recommend this luxury place.
Although we had to wait while having a confirmed reservation, the food, drinks and service made up for it later. Came here on a Wednesday night. Packed with beautiful people. Servers were attentive while not intrusive. Freshly shaved truffle at the table and the sparkling birthday candle on the decadent chocolate pudding made our birthday boy call it the best dinner he has ever had. Well done.
First time dining @ Mamo and it was a great experience. Easily made reservations online (Resy) and was seated immediately when I arrived with my partner.
We shared the Fettucine (special, not on regular menu) with pesto + sausage, margherita pizza and brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious, tasted fresh and portions were perfect.
Service was exactly what it should be (better than expected) from the front door to table.
